The Donegan crew arrived promptly at 8am ready to get the job done. They were very professional and all 3 employees went right to work. They did an amazing job with some difficult requests for trimming a big Pin Oak and Willow away from our house. Cleaned up all the debris and ensured we were satisfied with the work. I highly recommend this company. Professional, efficient and very reasonable prices.

I have used Donegan's before,. They have, fair pricing and always explain how much they can trim to protect the tree and extend its life. They respond very quickly to urgent needs and will send someone out to assess damage or explain treatment options for the trees. They will haul the wood or leave it depending on the customers requests. The same with the wood chips of the branches. We always keep both.

We had a great experience with Donegan's Tree Service. Their pricing was very competitive. Their work was very well done. They made quick work of what was quite a large residential job (9 trees down, 5 trees pruned, 15+ stumps ground). It was awesome watching them climb, prune, cut, and handle the chain saws so masterfully. I would definitely recommend.

Jim Donegan’s Tree Service has been taking care of the trees in our 55+ community for some years now.
Last year we needed to cut down one tree and trim others in our backyard. He came, and advised us in not overdoing because trees enhance the property and help to save energy in summer. His price is unbeatable too.

Another terrific experience with Donegan’s Tree Service. We needed two large oak trees and an ash removed from the front and two oaks in the back. James came out, walked the property, discussed the options and provided the detail on the labor and equipment required to safely and efficiently complete the job. He provided a detailed written quote and communicated openly throughout the process. The crew that did the work were competent and professional completing the work as committed and left the property free of debris. We are totally satisfied and felt we received good value.

This was my first experience with Donegan's Tree Service doing a tree removal. Their crew arrived in the timeframe that was promised, and were very respectful and professional. The crew went out of their way to ensure that the large dead white oak on my property was taken down quickly, and without damaging any of the surrounding area whatsoever. I was very impressed, and would not hesitate to use them again, or recommend them to anyone that needed tree service.

I can't tell you how pleased and impressed we are with Donegan's Tree Service. They were communicative, arrived precisely when they said they would, trimmed our trees beautifully and truthfully more than I thought they would (a pleasant surprise), and their pricing was very competitive to boot! Their crew was pleasant and professional and possibly one of the best things is their cleanup. When they were gone, there was virtually no trace of their work in our yard, just beautiful trees left behind. They raked our flower bed and yard, removing all debris as if they were never there. We're new to the area and recently bought a house with a front and back yard with tall trees. Not only that our trees were getting too tall, some of them were also touching our house and the neighbor's house. Jim came out quickly for our request to do an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and honest. He didn't try to upsell and only recommended services that were absolutely necessary for our trees. Unlike many other tree service companies that we called for estimates, many recommended as far as removing some of our trees and replacing with new ones with a reason that the trees were dying. Jim's price was reasonable and the crew did an excellent work - they arrived promptly, were very professional and left the work area so clean as if they were never there. This was done in December 2017. Our trees still look great and strong. And thanks to Jim & crew, they also survived the wind storm (not even a broken branch!). Highly recommend and we would definitely use their service again!

We had a couple of diseased trees and several that have grown too tall and too close to the house that we wanted to remove. Jim came out to assess the trees and gave honest and excellent input on what to cut down and what should be preserved instead. Donegan's Tree Service came out today and took a dead tree down for us. They grinded the stump completely. I was so impressed watching this process. We were lucky to find the knowledgeable and honest team at Donegan's Tree Service to help us with our new home in Leesburg. They took the time out to walk our new property and identify the types of trees we have how best to deal with our dead ash trees. On the days of the job they were early and well prepared. The team were all courteous and extremely professional. With Donegan's help we were able to clear out the years of overgrowth left by the previous owners, making the trees healthier and the property easier to maintain going forward. They even helped us move an old burn pile into a safe clearing for burning. Overall they went above and beyond our expectations and were truly a pleasure to do business with.

I've been working with Donegan's professionally and personally for many years. They never fail to deliver for me. I recently had a tree trimmed back and thinned. Donegan's crew arrived on time, professionally dressed and extremely polite. Their trucks and equipment are clean and clearly well maintained. I was honored to have my neighbors see the type of business I associate myself with. Their work was methodical and taken care of without delay. Donegan's removed several holly trees and ground two stumps (one very large) for us. Scheduling a site visit and obtaining a proposal was quick and easy. Rain delayed the job, but Donegan's promptly let us know and rescheduled. Tree removal and stump grinding were efficiently done, and we appreciated that the crews were careful not to damage nearby trees or newly planted shrubs that were near their work. Fair pricing, good work, easy communication -- I'd happily rehire if needed and recommend to others.

We are extremely pleased with the job Donegan's Tree Service completed to clean the crown on 1 large tree and 2 medium trees on our property. A really good experience. We had many trees pruned and several removed over a number of acres. Jim took a good deal of time diagnosing each tree and recommending the best course of action for each. It only takes a couple of minutes to know that Jim has a great deal of expertise, and comes at the site with the intention of conserving trees that can be improved, and only removing them when they are beyond hope. The crew arrived on time and with an impressive array of equipment that made the job run safely and efficiently.
