Reviews of local pros in Maidens, Virginia

Excellent job! Way above expectations. We are very pleased.

Sean came over and was extremely helpful during the planning phase. We discussed irrigation, lighting, patio options, and more. He was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and provided clear guidance throughout the process. It was reassuring to hear he has extensive experience working with older homes in the Ginter Park neighborhood.

Every time we have used Hanover Landscapes, we have been very pleased with the outcome of the job. Sean Highfill and his crew have done everything from general yard cleanup to designing and planting a garden bed. Sean is very attentive to his customers and wants to be sure the job is done right. We highly recommend Hanover Landscapes!

Very hard-working crew - prompt, reliable, and professional. I really appreciated their attention to detail and how efficiently they got the job done. Highly recommend!

Sean and crew have rebuilt our failing retaining wall and patio, edged and repaved our driveway, and updated various landscaping around our home. The work is high quality and Sean's designs always fit the space perfectly.

His crews are on time, friendly, and keep the job site clean. Every time we've had an issue after a completed job, no matter how minor, Sean has a team out to fix it within the week. I can't recommend Hanover Landscapes enough for any exterior home projects.

We had a great experience with Hanover Landscapes installing a french drain in our backyard. They were professional, communicative, and clearly knew what they were doing. We had several quotes and Sean's pricing was more than fair and transparent, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. Our drainage issues are completely resolved, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!

Hanover Landscapes were fantastic to work with. They just completed a stone retaining wall & flower bed for us & did such a professional job. Their standards were higher than my own & they were immaculate in how they left the work area each day. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience working with this landscaping company! Their team installed a beautiful flagstone walkway, carefully transplanted several trees, and built a well-crafted three-sided screen to hide our propane tank. From the beginning, they were responsive and professional—providing clear, straightforward estimates and offering the convenience of online payment. The crew completed the work on schedule and followed up afterward to ensure we were happy with the results. We’re very pleased with the finished projects and highly recommend them for any outdoor landscaping work!

Add on update: We were incredibly impressed with Hanover Landscaping! After a recent storm, they came out the very next day after I called and cleared two trees from our fence line. While they were here, they also moved old culvert piping out of sight and graded our driveway.

The crew was professional, efficient, helpful, and wonderful to work with from start to finish. Even better, the final cost came in under budget! It’s rare to find a company that is this responsive and reliable. We are so grateful to be customers and highly recommend Hanover Landscaping for any outdoor projects or storm cleanup needs!

Good people who take care of each individual customer.

Sean and his crew were wonderful! They exceeded our expectations and the final project was exceptionally installed and captured our vision.

Hanover Landscapes provided superb landscaping and a beautiful walkway for my home. Project design, scoping, materials, execution, invoicing and customer service are of the highest quality.
Thanks, Don

Sean and his team were great to work with. Flexible, affordable, and they did a stellar job on my driveway. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. You want it done right and fast? These are the people to call.

Sean and his team have worked for us since 2016. From yard clean up, leaf removal, mulching, landscaping, hardscaping, and maintenance he responds quickly, and professionally. I have recommended and continue to recommend him for any yard job to friends, family, and clients alike.

Hanover Landscapes does more than merely provide plantings for the yard--it brings an aesthetic eye as to what plants and plant groupings will look good together and create a harmonic whole that is a pleasure to see every day. Hanover installed a beautiful rock wall enclosure ffor a trellis and I cannot wait for them to build a circular wall for the center of the yard. Visitors have complimented the quality, aesthetics, and design of Hanover Landscape's work for us. Recommended.

Sean is a very patient and kind person!! We had him come 3 times for an estimate and we finally went with what he suggested. We are so glad we did! He is not always the cheapest but he is the best and you get what you pay for!! We love our yard and he has a great eye on how to make your yard look better. Well worth it!!!!!

Sean and his crew were amazing! They put a retention wall with grass seed around our new pool and it turned out great…. Until the heavy storms. But Sean and his crew made a special trip to come look at the damage and fixed it, even though it was Mother Nature and nothing that they did wrong. He was quick, honest and very affordable. He will be on speed dial for all of my landscaping needs!

Sean Highfill completed the proposal quickly and scheduled the project per our timeline. He explained the whole process thoroughly and was onsite through the completion. His team finished everything within the allotted time and cleaned up the site every day. I would highly recommend this company as Sean is approachable, and willing to work with the homeowner to achieve the best result.

Hanover Landscapes did a fantastic job rejuvenating the landscape surrounding our pool, putting a smile on our faces as we approach the summer season. Sitting poolside, and even looking out of our windows, will be even more enjoyable in the coming months as we admire the result of their work.

Hanover Landscapes has helped me a number of times with both landscape and hardscape projects. They are easy to communicate with and always understand exactly what I need and then do exceptional work in a timely fashion. Would highly recommend using them.

Sean and his crew are great!! They show up when they say they will; they are courteous; they are patient to answer questions fully; their pricing is fair and their work is fabulous!! I highly recommend Hanover Landscapes…and look forward to working with them again!!

Sean and his team were great to work with. We bought a ‘new to us’ home that needed lots of TLC. Sean met with us and offered good ideas to prevent some drainage issues and landscaping ideas. They were very professional and thorough. Loved the way everything turned out. Highly recommend them!
