I recommend using them, from day 1 they were transparent throughout the process. Nate was amazing with explaining his approach on what action should be taken and how. I certainly look forward to using them exclusively for any tree services going forward in the future. Knowledge and communication second to none. Jaime needs a shout out too, always kept me in the loop as it is rare these days as a customer not having to chase. 5 stars for the whole team

Highly recommend Crown Down! Nate is very knowledgeable and really fought to try to save our tree. In the end it needed to come down. Scheduling and communication was quick and easy thanks to Jamie. Price was very reasonable! They have also delivered mulch to us the for two years now, did I mention at no cost!

Nate and his crew are the epitome of professionals and will be the only tree service I use from now on. I contacted Crown Down because Nate is an Arborist and I wanted to see if there was any chance to save my mature shade tree in my front yard. Nate used his drone to survey and document the damage in my tree. After reviewing the results, Nate recommended removal vs pruning and explained why he came to that conclusion. Nate emailed me an estimate the next day. They removed my mature tree, ground the stump several inches below the surface, back filled the hole with dirt and added grass seed. The crew used plywood to protect my existing lawn from damage when felling the tree and when grinding and cleaning up. When they were done, the only indication that they were there was the seeded area where the tree was. All wood chips, twigs and dirt were cleaned up and removed from the yard and street.

Nate and his crew at Crown Down Tree Service are outstanding! My neighbor and I needed some landscaping work including root removal from a previous tree stump at our townhouses. Crown Down was quick with a visit and estimate, timely when it came to starting the project, thorough with their work, and extremely professional throughout the entire process. The cost of our project was very competitive, and the finished product was exceptional. I have also seen Crown Down’s tree work at my office and the completed tree removal work is just as impressive. If you want a professional company to do tree removal or landscaping, call Crown Down Tree Service and get the job done right!

From start to finish working with Nate from Crown Down was awesome! He even took extra time to talk to me about my trees and some issues I am having with my yard. I had 2 small/medium trees removed and stumps ground and am extremely happy with the result! His prices are very fair and he is honest up front with what to expect. He does also offer financing if needed. Nate’s team was a pleasure to work with, and while I hope I don’t need to remove any more trees, I will certainly be using him again if I do!

We just had an enormous, diseased Eastern White Pine removed by Crown Down Tree Service. Every stage of the process went smoothly and it was quite stunning to see the process of the tree removal. It is definitely not something you would ever attempt unless you were skilled and experienced, and there’s no question that Nate, the arborist and owner, knows what he is doing. He and his crew did the job efficiently, carefully, and were very considerate of our and our surrounding neighbors’ yards and driveways. After the work was done, Nate went over what to do regarding the soil in the area where the tree was, when planting could happen and even some suggestions of what trees would be good to plant. I recommend Crown Down Tree Service wholeheartedly and will call again for our future tree needs.

Crown Down Tree Service made the entire tree removal process smooth from beginning to end. Beginning with a free consultation by a patient, kind, and knowledgeable arborist (Nate). Grateful for his expertise and suggestions to help me make an informed and safe decision on tree removal. Nate and his team had paid much attention to safety and efficiency when removing a large tree in my yard. All was done in a timely manner and cleanup was excellent. Highly recommend this team!

Nate with Crown Down Tree Service was polite, professional, and gave me an extremely reasonable quote! His passion is evident, as well as his knowledge.

I had a large ash tree on my property that was succumbing to borers, and needed a crape myrtle in my front yard trimmed as well. Nate gave me a great price. It was easy to schedule an appointment and I got reminders when they were 15 minutes out.

Nate and another team member worked for 6 hours straight and fell the big tree with no issues. They also cleaned up the sawdust and debris leftover.

Extremely affordable and professional! If I ever need tree work again, I will definitely reach out to Crown Down!
