I was recommended by my cousin who lives in Bethesda. She was very satisfied with their job, and I am happy I hired them also. They were able to schedule an appointment a day after I called. Emily from the office was sweet and the technician was very professional, explained me the process and did an excellent job.

technicians came to my house in Arlington, Virginia. My chimney had to be repaired - insulation on the brick, flashing, lining and change the cap as well as sweeping. The technicians worked for 8 hours and did fantastic job. They showed us before and after pictures and my wife was very satisfied.

I just moved to a new house in Fairfax. I had to get my chimney inspected to get ready for the winter. They did chimney sweep and mortar repair. I also asked the tech to inspect the dryer vent. the layout of the vent was complex, going to a shed and under the crawl space. The technician was crawling underneath and was able to access it. The duct was disconnected in two placed and the technician was able to fix it. Well done. Thanks McLean Chimney Pros

We have been customers of McLean Chimney Cleaning and Repair Pros for years in our McLean home. We moved a few months ago to a new house in Chevy Chase Maryland. We had them coming for inspection before we purchased the house, and we just did the chimney services with them.
They converted an old gas fireplace to wood burning fireplace, swept our 2 chimneys and installed new caps for all the chimneys.
As always, they did a great job. Emily from the office has been always very helpful with scheduling and coordination with the technicians and parts. Thank you!

Even the farthest vents in our house now deliver consistent airflow post leak repair.

i found j.y. chimney cleaning online and they scheduled a visit for the very next day. brayden arrived on time and really knew his way around chimneys—he had the right training and experience, which showed. he not only handled a weird issue we had with our fireplace, but also did a careful inspection and explained everything he saw in a way that made sense. super professional and helpful service.

After trying to reach several places with no luck, J.Y. Chimney Cleaning picked up right away on a Saturday. They quickly set up a chimney sweep appointment for the next Thursday, sent a confirmation, and even checked in again the morning of the visit. Brayden arrived on time and made sure my fireplace was safe for me to use at home. The work was spotless—he cleaned everything up and paid close attention to detail. I also got some really helpful chimney care tips. Compared to other companies that don’t return calls or take days to respond, this service is much more reliable and responsive. In McLean, there’s no need to look elsewhere for chimney cleaning—I’ll definitely be using them for all my future fireplace needs!

after strong winds knocked over my old wood stove chimney pipe, i called for chimney sweep help. tracy came out and replaced the whole exterior pipe quickly. when another round of heavy winds came through and the new pipe fell again, tracy didn’t hesitate to make it right. they worked with me to choose a better spot for the stove and chimney, and set up a sturdier system at no extra cost. i've always found them to be honest, on time, and fair with their chimney sweep services.

I reached out for a chimney inspection, and just two days later, Brayden arrived right on schedule. He took the time to answer all my questions about putting in a wood burning insert myself. Brayden even let me look at the camera while he checked the chimney and explained exactly what he was looking for. There was no need for a chimney cleaning, and I appreciated that there was no pressure to get one done. I’ll definitely recommend their chimney sweep services to friends and family in McLean.
