Constraction reviews in McLean, Virginia

Eva was outstanding! After listening to our demands, she came up with a fantastic design for our laundry room and kitchen. It satisfied every requirement we had and more. The staff cleaned up every night before they left our house, were courteous, and answered all of our inquiries. Without a doubt, Boss Design Center will be used for further projects!

I recently had a sunroom addition done by Boss Design Center, and it has completely transformed my home. The design team was fantastic, helping me create a bright, inviting space that feels like an oasis. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship exceeded my expectations, and the installation process was smooth and timely. Now, I can enjoy the outdoors year-round, rain or shine! I highly recommend Boss Design Center for anyone considering a sunroom addition.

We used Talha and his team to remodel our basement and then, later, our kitchen. We are very happy with the results and process. Talha has brilliant insights and knowledge on design and construction. He had ideas that we had not thought of and told us of some downsides of ideas that we had come up with. His ideas were better! The actual construction process was generally smooth, especially for the kitchen. We recommend using Boss Design based on our experience.

The results of the restoration I had done in my master bathroom by Boss Design Center are amazing. They made sure everything worked out just the way I wanted it to by paying great attention to every little detail. The crew completed the task on schedule and with professionalism. My renovated bathroom seems like a spa, and I couldn't be happier!

Boss Design Center recently remodeled my bathroom, and I am thrilled with the outcome. Their team was professional, efficient, and paid close attention to every detail. The quality of the work is outstanding, and they turned my vision into reality. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Boss Design Center for any home remodeling project.

We used Boss Design Center for a full house renovation back in 2019 including bathrooms, stairs and kitchen. The results were outstanding and the experience was a true pleasure. So when we moved house recently we had no hesitation in reaching out to them once again. Fortunately, they had a window in which they could squeeze us in and as we expected, they designed, delivered and installed a stunning kitchen with amazing details.
Working with Boss Design Center is really simple. When they promise to deliver a project it is exactly what you get. If they say their electrician or plumber will show up on such a day, you can be sure they will be there.
And if they say the project will cost $X, that`s what it will cost. If you decide to add extra`s or modify certain plans along the way, they are excellent at providing a detailed cost of what those changes will cost you.
My husband loved working with Ava to develop and draw up the initial concept, deciding on which colours and materials to use to deliver the look she wanted.
In summary, if you are lucky enough to get Boss Design Center onboard for your kitchen reno you will have a great experience. They are the best in the business and such a fun crew to work with.

As a recent arrival to the DC area, I didn’t have a network to ask for referrals when it came time to renovate our kitchen. Instead, I looked at many online reviews, reading them carefully to see which sounded authentic and offered more information than “great job.”
The detailed positive reviews for Boss Design stood out, and now that our kitchen renovation has been completed, I understand why other reviewers were so enthusiastic. I can add my positive experience to theirs’, as we are delighted with the results.
From the design (thanks, Gee), to the execution (5 weeks from start to finish), to the quality of the workmanship (all aspects), we are glad to recommend Boss Design to others who want a professional team to design and build their new kitchen.
The project came in on budget with no surprises along the way or at the end, and we felt that they were looking out for us throughout the job. One example is that when we selected a specific tile for the backsplash, Talha said that we would be paying far more than necessary and that it wouldn’t be appropriate for the kitchen as it would be difficult to keep clean. Instead, Gee came to our home with a similar tile sample that would work better and would be a fraction of the other tile’s price. We actually liked the second sample better, and it looks great in our kitchen.
Our original ideas were carefully considered, and when they thought that other options might work better, we wound up agreeing with them (most of the time). Having seen and lived with the final result, I have to admit that they were right in their suggestions.
The appliance dealer that they recommended was a pleasure to work with, and when there was a price increase on several appliances between the original meeting and the actual ordering, the dealer was able to get the increase greatly reduced.
When there were errors or miscommunication (and there always are in any project), they were quickly remedied with no arguments or extra charges.
Having heard several horror stories from others about their kitchen renovation experiences, we are so glad to have chosen Boss Design. Many thanks to the other Boss Design reviewers who took the time and effort to share their experiences, as they were so helpful to us.

Boss Design Center did an excellent job combining traditional and contemporary design aspects in our kitchen makeover. We were able to select exquisite finishes that brought everything together because to Talha's attention to detail. From the backsplash to the bespoke cabinetry, the craftsmanship was impeccable. The team was easy to work with, professional, and kind. Everything we could have imagined is in our new kitchen!

Although I've previously dealt with contractors, Boss Design Center significantly altered my expectations. They took a genuine interest in the small things, such as minimizing dust and protecting our floors. The kitchen looks fantastic, but what really caught my attention was how well everything worked.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Boss Design Center, and the experience was fantastic. Their three-floor facility, with extensive sample and selection areas, made choosing materials easy and enjoyable. The team’s attention to detail and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Boss Design Center for any home remodeling project!

Our home required an extensive renovation, which Boss Design Center expertly completed. The kitchen now has a layout that works for our daily routine and lots more storage. From the beginning to the end, their team was professional and communicative. We feel as though we've moved into a completely new house!

Boss Design Center did an perfect job with our kitchen remodeling project. The team's attention to detail and craftsmanship transformed the space into a beautiful area. The designers listened to our needs and provided great suggestions that fit our style. The entire process was smooth, and they stayed on schedule. We couldn't be happier with the results, and the Bethesda showroom was an incredible resource for inspiration.

We entrusted Boss Design Center with a major remodeling project, and the transformation has been remarkable. The team’s expertise and dedication to quality were evident in every aspect of the work. Our home now feels refreshed and perfectly tailored to our needs. The project was handled smoothly from start to finish, with excellent communication throughout. I recently had the pleasure of working with Boss Design Center on the complete transformation of my kitchen into a state-of-the-art gourmet space—and I could not be more thrilled with the result. From new cabinets and high-end appliances to exquisite hardwood flooring, quartzite countertops, custom lighting, and a brand-new oversized window, every detail was executed flawlessly.

Talha, our designer, is nothing short of exceptional. He brings impeccable taste, a deep understanding of the latest kitchen trends and innovations, and a European flair that elevates the entire design. Over the course of three months, we worked closely together, refining the vision to perfection. Talha doesn’t just design kitchens—he designs dreams.

What truly sets Boss Design Center apart is their turnkey approach. Talha’s in-house team of project managers, carpenters, electricians, flooring experts, and tile installers handled every aspect of the project with professionalism, courtesy, and true craftsmanship. It was a seamless experience from start to finish.

If you’re looking for someone to bring your dream kitchen—or any home renovation—to life with vision, sophistication, and flawless execution, I highly recommend Boss Design Center.

My kitchen and two bathrooms were renovated by Boss Design Center nearly two years ago. I still get happy about the process and the result when I think about it. I like the work completed and the people that made it possible. I have nothing but praise for their professionalism and effective procedure. Along the way, everyone was kind and made an effort to make me happy, and they finished the job on schedule. That alone is worth a million stars! I highly recommend!

I recently worked with Boss Design to remodel our full bathroom and powder room, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience!

From the get-go, Talha, our designer, was amazing. He really took the time to understand what we wanted and offered great ideas that brought our vision to life. I was impressed with how he paid attention to every little detail.

The whole team was professional and friendly. Carlos, our project manager, did a fantastic job keeping everything organized and on track. They always left the place clean at the end of the day, which made the process much easier.

One thing that really stood out to me was how they went above and beyond. They fixed few floor tiles around the house that weren’t even part of the project, and they did it at no extra charge! It was such a nice surprise and showed how much they care about their customers.

The quality of work in both the full bath and powder room is just stellar. I love how everything turned out—it’s both functional and stylish.

If you’re thinking about a remodel, I highly recommend Boss Design. They truly made this experience enjoyable, and I’m thrilled with our new spaces!

I'll start by saying that we had several different consultations with other companies for a kitchen remodel. Talha was professional and knowledgeable, my husband and I had a good feeling from the start. the project manager was very flexible with my ever changing ideas as the project was being completed. Not once did he seem put out by my lack of decision making or any request that I had. In fact he helped come up with ideas that I did not think of. The entire team was courteous and accommodating. Everyday before they left they took all garbage with them. We are so happy with our kitchen, Boss Design Center really made our vision come to life.

I had a great experience with Talha and Boss Design while designing my new kitchen. Talha gave me some extremely useful design ideas, pointing at issues that I had not anticipated, and was with me all the way through ordering, delivering and installing the new cabinets. I am very happy with the results and my overall interaction with BDC

Being involved in the housing industry for over 15 years I have a very good idea of the different construction trades and what a good contractor should be like. I also have a very good idea of how hard it is to find the contractor that will be reliable and responsive as every homeowner expects. I found it all in Boss Design Center.
From day one, scheduling a quote for our project, Boss Design Center showroom reps were extremely helpful and courteous. On the day of our meeting Sean came to our house with a lot of positive vibes. He gave us a lot of good ideas of what we can do with our budget and how our dreams can blend in with reality. The gave a few suggestions that really expressed our inspiration and needs. The quote was emailed to us within about a week from the day of the meeting and was pretty much what we expected it to be.
As much as we felt comfortable with Sean, it was our first meeting with a designer and we didn't want to jump into a contract without interviewing a couple of other contractors. In regards to our meeting with the other two reputable contractors, that I will not mention their names here, to make a long story short there was nothing to compare. Boss Design Center quote was not the cheapest but the service was superior.
Once the contract was signed Sean and the Boss Design Center showroom crew were on top of everything, the planning was quickly done and we were ready to start the project in no time.

The project itself went above and beyond my expectations, the quality of work was high, the customer service was constantly good, they kept sending us updates and made us feel very comfortable trusting our project in their hands.
When we first met, Sean said his first in priority is to always make the client happy.

Thank you Sean, We are VERY happy!

Boss designs is our go to for any major home renovation. This was our second time working with Sean and his incredible team; but it won't be the last. Sean's vision and design work and his ability to bring it to life, is unmatched. Not only did Sean redesign the layout of the first floor of our townhouse, he helped us select materials that are both breathtaking but functional. Sean's customized approach enabled him to develop a new layout that give us more usable space, storage and a flow that makes us feel at home. I cannot recommend working with Sean and the Boss team enough - their design work, quality of product, and execution of the project gave us the house of our dreams.

Talha Gursoy and the construction staff at Boss Design far exceeded our expectations when they provided our home with updated elegance and functionality. Our project included sanding and re-staining of the hardwood flooring of the entire first level of our home, gutting the “old” kitchen, moving oven/fridge locations including gas/water lines and ventilation, installing new appliances, creating a large island with beautiful custom cabinetry, a new mudroom hallway, a new laundry room, two new bathrooms, new lighting, new fireplace with stone accent wall and surrounding shelving, etc. The design/build process was seamless, the craftsmanship superb and the quality of the relationship with Mr. Gursoy was matched by the wonderful outcome of the project.
