Reviews of local pros in McLean, Virginia

If you've never had your windows professionally cleaned, it may seem like an indulgent extravagance or something you can tackle yourself over the weekend. And maybe it is, but trust me on this: you will not be able to do a better job than these guys. There's a thing called "nose blindness" that happens when you acclimate to an odor to the point you can't smell it anymore; we had that with our dirty windows. That was just how the world looked - or so we thought.

It's a day later and the wife and I are STILL remarking on how amazing our windows look, how clear and beautiful everything outside is. It's what I imagine people feel like after having cataracts removed.

The crew were amazing, professional, on time and friendly. They started by pulling about 3 pounds of garbage out of my gutters (which do have covers, so let this be a warning - get 'em cleaned out periodically EVEN IF you have gutter covers!), then came inside to clean and unlatch the screens, then went back outside, then back inside to finish up and do a final quality check.

I can't say enough good things about these guys and their services. If you can count your windows and describe them semi-accurately you can even get a quote over the phone without waiting. Five stars, very happy and will call them again when I need them.

Our technician Roberto was friendly, professional, and did an excellent job on our interior and exterior window cleaning. He was accommodating and easily worked around us and our toddler during the service. Our windows look great!

Excellent customer service. They went above and beyond for a tricky all glass residential property. We use them to clean our clients windows and they always do a great job! Highly recommend them.

They just came to our house in Alexandria and after 12 years. Our windows look amazing!! Before cleaning our windows were in non HD. Now it's unbelievable, looking out now looks like Ultra High Definition. Well worth it!!

I had my first experience with Virginia Window Cleaners, Inc. Melvin and his two crew members arrived on time. They were friendly and professional. They power washed my back siding, washed my windows inside and outside, and cleaned the screens as well as the sills. The team was very thorough! I am very pleased with their work! I highly recommend Virginia Window Cleaners Inc!

Virginia Window Cleaners did a great job cleaning my windows, screens, and storm windows. The technician was prompt, efficient, and pleasant. The only negative is that he did not clean the top of the window sashes all that thoroughly. And the dispatcher was misleading in that he gave the impression that the storm windows were included in the price range he quoted me but in fact storm windows are an additional price. So the job was expensive but in fairness not all that out of range of other estimates I received.

Virginia Window Cleaners came recommended by a friend, but I’ll be reporting back that they did not follow through.

I first spoke to Pam on a Monday. She said she’d send someone out to look at my 6 windows with calcium deposits, and that she would call me the next day with a time. She never called.

I called Tuesday and spoke with a man who said he’d call back later that day with timing. He never called back.

On Wednesday, I called again. Pam said she would send someone that day. I told her my availability had changed and I would not be free until after 1:30pm.

A technician (Julio) showed up at 1:10pm, before I was available, and said he had been waiting 25 minutes.

Julio told me they could clean the windows with a solution called “Diamond” and that Pam would send me a quote.

I never received the quote. In addition, Julio spent time pitching his side business instead of representing the company.

Very disappointing experience. Poor communication, failure to follow through, and no quote provided.

Best communication of all the window washing companies I use. A little pricy by comparison in my opinion and experience but worth it. Work is accurate, complete and timely. Today Julio and Johnny of VWCI cleaned windows at a property I am listing For Sale tomorrow. After carpeting, painting, power washing and interior house cleaning, window washing is the final touch before photo shoot.

the Va Window Team was very professional start to finish. Pricing was very fair and the work was exceptional. Arturo was extremely courteous, clean and mindful of our home. We will see them next year for certain.

Julio & team did a fantastic job cleaning our condo’s windows (first & second floor, interior and exterior). They hadn’t been cleaned for 3+ years and they look totally radiant and new now. The price was great, the team worked quickly, and they did an excellent job. Very impressed all around. Thank you!

I work with carpet flooring in McLean, and many carpet cleaning companies have tried to earn our referrals. We continue to trust and recommend thomas because he is serious about keeping his carpet cleaning equipment clean and well maintained. That makes a big difference in deep carpet cleaning, spot treatment, stretching, and repairs. A lot of cleaners overlook that part, but clean tools help deliver better results and protect the carpet fibers. We hear from customers all the time that they are happy with the referral and pleased with how fresh and clean their carpets look. We still joke, 'Why clean your carpets when you can just buy new carpet?' but for anyone wanting to save money and extend the life of their flooring, i would gladly recommend this service for carpet cleaning, restretching, and repair work.

We had a tough tea stain on the carpet that I tried to remove with several store-bought carpet cleaners and a Dawn and vinegar mix. Instead of helping, it spread the spot and made the carpet look worse. I blotted the spill right away at first, and it seemed fine, but once the stain showed up more clearly in better light, I kept trying different products and only made it worse. Randall was able to fully remove the stain and restore the carpet fibers so it looked clean again. I honestly thought the carpet was ruined, but his carpet cleaning skill and stain treatment worked great. We are very grateful for the excellent service and would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs carpet cleaning or stubborn stain removal.

My carpets came out clean, the service was fast, and I really liked how quickly everything dried. Thomas and Julian were friendly and worked efficiently, and the whole carpet cleaning appointment felt easy and well organized. I also appreciated how fresh the rooms looked afterward. They arrived later than expected, but once they got started they moved quickly and covered the bedrooms and hallway well. There was a small mess during the visit, but it was taken care of, and the overall result still left the carpet looking much better. The pet stain treatment helped freshen the area and improved the appearance of the carpet, even though some deeper spots can still be hard to fully remove. Overall, I was happy with the cleaning service and the improvement in my home.

My couches and chairs arrived out great. Have two dogs who sleep on them . Roman did a terrifc task explaining the process and left me some of the z water to do spot cleaning if necessary. Thanks

Billy did an great task for me! It is so nice to be able to meet people like him. My wife and I are pleased with his attention to detail to make sure that was perfect for us! Great job Billy, I'll be sending some more money your way in the future!

malachi was quick and polite. He managed to attend to my newly bought cream carpet the same day I reached out. After a thorough vacuum and clean, my carpet appeared as good as new, despite my ineffective attempts at removing persistent mud stains.. To my dismay, the stains reappeared a few hours later. i texted malachi who informed me that sometimes stains reoccur due to a phenomenon known as 'wicking.' He graciously offered to return the following day. True to his word, malachi came back promptly and gave the carpet another round of cleaning. i'm pleased to say that all the stains have vanished. I'll definitely hold onto malachi's contact for any future carpet-staining accidents (which are likely with a cream carpet). Thanks malachi!!!! For a seamless carpet cleaning experience, i highly recommend the giants carpet cleaning. Their team, especially malachi, are dedicated to ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Despite an initial hiccup with stubborn stains, they were proactive in providing a solution and follow-up service. I'm definitely reaching out to them for any future carpet cleaning needs.

Today, we had Julian from The Giants Carpet Cleaning over at our home to clean our carpet and area rug! The job he performed was exceptional. Our kitchen carpet appears utterly transformed! We are extremely satisfied with the service provided today in McLean!

A pal recommended a carpet cleaning service they had used for installing new carpet. They had nothing but praises for the service, so we decided to reach out to them for a quote to replace our basement carpet. thomas was very prompt in his response and asked us about our specific needs. He gave us various options without pushing us into anything. His quote was quite fair, and we are extremely satisfied with the outcome. His team, including julian and brantley, were absolute pros. They all deserve a 5-star rating from us. We also enlisted their help for tile and upholstery cleaning. Yet again, this squad earns 5 stars.

The team from The Giants Carpet Cleaning in McLean is wonderfully friendly and excellent at the carpet cleaning services they deliver. I've utilized their services multiple times and intend to keep doing so for my carpet's upkeep. Individuals such as Brantley and Julian are consistently impressive with their comprehensive cleaning.

julian from the giants carpet cleaning was amazing! i reached out for a quote to clean my wool area rug, and even with their busy schedule, they managed to fit me in for a quote at 4:30. julian arrived right on time and offered me a quote that was $200 less than their competitor. when i asked about scheduling, he said, 'we can do it right now.' not only did he clean the wool area rug, but he also tackled two additional rooms and did an outstanding job. i'm really impressed with this company and will definitely keep recommending them for all my carpet cleaning needs!

Absolutely! Five stars for sure! I wasn't being lazy—Thomas was amazing! I can't add much more to what others have said, but he really was fantastic! He was very professional, explaining what he was going to do, why he chose his methods, and how they were superior to those of big chain services. I stepped out for a few hours while he worked on the carpets, cleaned the vinyl kitchen floor beautifully, and tackled the basement tile floor. When I came back, I found him diligently on his hands and knees, removing tough stains from the stairs—such a perfectionist! His pricing was fair and truly matched the high quality of work he delivered. If you're looking to get your floors cleaned, I highly recommend this service!
