Swimming Pool Contractor reviews in McLean, Virginia

Great experience working with Nick (owner) and his crew.

All around great people who work hard to get the job done right! Highly recommend Roberto if you want professionalism and quality! 5 stars across the board.

Nick did a great job. Very thorough and thoughtful in design. Knows what he is doing and made sure we were happy even weeks after completion

Had my property completely renovated. Nick's designs are like none I've seen before. It was a large project and was completed and prices as quoted. Can't beat the customer services either. Truly would hire again without question!

Only contractor that came back and gave me an honest price to remove an in-ground pool. Nick was always available when I had questions and fix any problem encountered with the removal at no charge to me. Love my new patio and looking forward to having friends over this summer for cookouts.

NRC designed and built retaining walls (consisting of poured concrete foundation, CMU (cinder block) walls, stone veneer and capstones), wood fencing/gates, and storm water drainage on my property. Owner Nick Hanna is creative with design options and provided us with flexibility relative to different priced solutions. The masonry work and fencing is sturdy and high quality. I highly recommend NRC based on their flexible solutions and high quality of work for a reasonable price. David S.

My Husband and I spent months getting quotes from different companies to extend our driveway that included building a huge retaining wall. We had some nightmares just getting quotes from some of the local companies. Nick Hanna (NRC) got the job because of his knowledge, vision and professionalism. NRC did an outstanding job. Nick was exceptional when it came to any changes we made along the way, as well as any additional requests we had. Great job and professional all the way!

NRC (& Nick especially) were great to work with from start to finish. He listened to what our "vision" was for our landscaping & his suggestions were spot on. He came up with a great design with plants that fitted perfectly given the existing surroundings and the amount of sunlight the proposed location would get. He supported us with design plans needed to get through the (dreaded!) HOA application and was communicative throughout. Cost wise he was very competitive and, given the level of service, we had no reason to consider others. Installation went exactly as planned and we are thrilled with the results. We highly recommend NRC.

I needed a retaining wall built around my pool so I found NRC Landscaping on the Internet and I was glad I did. The company not only built a beautiful wall with lights but added a water feature, and it looks beautiful. After seeing their work and how fast they are I had many other projects for them such as, 2 concrete walk ways, adding new front steps with another beautiful stone walkway and new railings. We are very happy with the work and we highly recommend them. Thanks again NRC.

NRC put in a patio and landing for me. It is absolutely fantastic! Nick came out and we discussed the concept I was looking for, he put together a great design and his guys knocked it out in three days. I cannot express how happy my wife and I are with the result. This company is a total class act, and delivers the highest quality. They are the only company I will call in the future for similar work. Thanks Nick!

I am an architect and do a large volume of residential design. I have had many happy clients after I have introduced Nick and NRC to them. Their professionalism and quality of work has been excellent and I continue to recommend them. I trust in their work so much, I had Nick and co. complete a large patio / gas fireplace at my own home.

Nick Hanna and his team of skilled workers did a fantastic job on our house in Fairfax. On time, on budget and super high quality workmanship. As the job progressed added a major piece of work and Nick jumped to with a reasonably priced change order and got the job done in one shot. We went from a concrete apron and retaining wall, to a whole stone veneer on our house and could not have been more pleased with the results. Nick is an excellent communicator and never left us hanging.

We sold the house a year later and Nick's work was a major selling feature. Our new house needed some of the same paver work and let our general contractor do the work... what a mistake...PAVERS NEED TO GO IN CORRECTLY - especially when you drive on them... should have insisted that it was sub contracted to NRC and it looks like we may be calling them back in to fixed the bad work...

Nick has done a masterful job of creating new patios, walkways, landscaping and lighting in our backyard and new lighting in the front. His design ideas were perfect and we had such confidence in him that we just gave him carte blanche to execute his ideas, and we are very happy with the result.
Nick is very responsive and his workers are top notch. Absolutely recommend!!!

Nick from NRC Landscape did a great job installing our pervious paver driveway. He worked with us to come up with a layout that met our requirements and provided lots of pictures and references to help us navigate through all the possibilities. His suggestions on walkway lighting turned out great!
Nick spends time working with his customers to ensure their needs are met. We plan to use him again for additional work.

Nick Hanna and his crew were top notch. We had a new home built in Aldie and wanted to replicate a covered porch that the builder offered. Nick said "easy" but told me he wanted put some of his touches on it to make it stand out. His ideas are amazing and his final product exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend him for any project. Be aware, your neighbors will be jealous.

NRC just completed a backyard patio and gas firepit for us. We hired Nick because his designs for the project were beautiful and like nothing we received from any other company bidding out this project. Nick and his team went above and beyond to not only ensure that we were happy but that we were blown away by the end results. WHICH WE WERE! We would highly recommend hiring NRC for any outdoor project.

NRC Landscape constructed a driveway on my property. I needed a place to park my trailer and the NRC folks delivered with a great product. NRC performed the work within the proposed budget and on deadline with no problems or issues. On a project of this size, I was confident that there might be issues with contractors, but NRC delivered exceptional customer service and a great product. I was also impressed with the knowledge of their staff. I did the research for months, and I can confidently say this company is THE best in Northern Virginia. Thanks NRC for a great project and awesome experience.

Superb! Nick and his Team did an amazing job transforming our back yard and I've already recommended NRC to several neighbors in our area. We were looking for something that would give our end-unit townhome some useful outdoor living space, provide some privacy, and add some curb appeal. We got far more than that. With a modest budget and a only a very general idea from us, Nick created an exquisite design. He then carefully walked us through the costs, showed us areas where we could save, and then in short order, brought it to life. The finished product - a new patio and sitting wall with lighting, landscaping with 40+ trees and bushes and uplighting - was amazing! It was far more than Nick's design sketch did justice. Separate from the amazing job Nick and his crew did, what really stood out to us was the reliability and peace of mind you get with NRC. Whenever something wasn't going quite right, or even when we decided to change something last minute, Nick just made it happen. He never seemed burdened or tried to nickel-and-dime us over the change, he just did it. He really treated our project like it was his own. When we thought we might lose a plant (we did this project in the middle of the summer), Nick assured us that he'd replace it. He also reassured us he'd do the same the following summer if something wasn't going the way it should; no questions asked. He's an absolute professional who treats his customers right. I'm telling you, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely great! We have moved few times and every time we moved, we made sure that Nick and NRC was part of our plan for hardscape/landscape design, retaining wall, pavers driveway or as simple as for landscape ideas. Nick's energy and passion provided us with design ideas and alternatives to our original ideas. We have referred him to our friends and family who trusts him as much as we do. If we found alternatives elements that were cheaper - Nick was always honest and incorporated our choice to his design to give us a solution that we desired. We appreciate his honesty. One important aspect is that Nick was always flexible to ensure that our vision was met and his crew was flexible with design changes without costing us an arm and leg! We truly appreciate the flexibility, professionalism and quality of work that NRC has always done. Highly recommended!

Dealing with contractors can be a difficult task, especially when you can’t see the final product until the work is complete. I received multiple quotes for a patio, sitting wall and stairs; it was clear Nick knew what he was talking about. And others simply were just interested in work and not doing things the right way. I’m in the construction field and can’t say enough about the level of detail Nick and his crew took. It was a pleasure to work with NRC, Roberto and Nick. I’ll definitely recommend them to anyone that wants quality at a fair cost.

Nick and his team at NRC Landscape Construction provided excellent service from start to finish. Due to the size of my project, Nick was able to fit me in with very short notice, going from my initial request for estimate to completed project within a week. Nick was very accommodating to my budget bud did not sacrifice quality. I highly recommend you consider NRC for your landscaping project.
