preston is the man. great guy and great hvac repair work. fair pricing and solid results from Wade's Heating Air Conditioning. i would recommend preston and bryson to anyone who needs ac repair or heating service. i reached out online about the issue my son was having with his hvac system, and bryson responded within minutes. we scheduled a visit, and preston came out, diagnosed the problem, and got everything running right. all systems are a go and working to perfection. they explained the repair clearly, showed up on time, and made the whole service call easy. my son's heating and cooling issue in Newport News was handled fast, and now the system is working efficiently and keeping the house comfortable. great work.

We called Black Goose Newport News to install an electric fireplace & shiplap in our family room. The space was previously used for an old fashion tv & stereo system built into the wall. Today Black Goose came to give me a quote on my gas fireplace. Mr. Bobby asked me what I wanted to do with the fireplace because due to a lot of advice from other companies I was under the impression that I would have to tear my existing fireplace down and get a brick and mortar fireplace to burn wood. I was so happy with the technician he answered a million questions and helped me to understand the gas fireplace the technician was so knowledgeable, we had another company tell me that we had incorrect logs in and he wanted to redo the whole fire place. So happy I got a second opinion they are honest and knew what to do get our fireplace looking the best it ever has.

Arrived 3 hours late. Level 1 inspection is literally them poking their head in the chimney. There are other levels that I saw later on the website but I don’t think they listened to my specific needs with my 200 year old house. Promised a report that was never provided. Given an informal estimate for $25k worth of work that any competent mason could do in a weekend. Not recommended.

I called for a clean and inspection. They came out and inspected and told me it didn't need cleaning. I feel like most would have "cleaned" it anyway and charged me. They only charged for the inspection which was nice of them. I will use them again in the future.

Professional and friendly. Started work by putting down drop cloths and cleaned up on the way out. Answered questions about proper fire lighting and burning. This is the third time Black Goose has inspected and cleaned our chimney. We will continue using them in the future

I’m not happy at all with the service because the gentleman that came to my house told me I needed a new gas valve for my fireplace. He said that somebody would contact me the next day which would’ve been the 11th and nothing was done. Nobody contacted me and right now I’m looking for another company that will do the job for me because I don’t want to use black goose.
