Tree reviews in Norfolk, Virginia

Excellent performance by the Great Scott crew. They arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently with the right equipment, and cleaned up everything. They removed a large dead pine, ground the stump and trimmed a bunch of unruly branches on several other trees. Price was very reasonable considering the level or effort. I highly recommend them for tree work!

Great Scott Tree Service returned to trim our big old Elm tree this morning. This was the third time we have used Great Scott since 2019. They are prompt and courteous, and the price is always great. I called last week, and they came out the next day to provide a quote and did the work the following Monday. Professional, safe, respectful of our property, and cleaned up the yard so it looks better than when they arrived. I highly recommend this family-owned business.

The first tree company we called was a no-show but thankfully Great Scott Tree Service came through and absolutely exceeded our expectations! They were fast, professional and incredibly efficient. From the moment we reached out their communication was prompt and clear they quickly and safely removed a large tree that was very close to our home and they handled everything with care and precision. The cleanup was spotless. Fair pricing, dependable service and top-quality work. We couldn’t be happier and recommend Great Scott to anyone needing tree services!

Outstanding tree service. Professional, thorough, responsive and detailed in their work. Very meticulous in pruning trees and their clean up afterwards is spotless. The only service I trust to care for my magnolia tree that is well over 80 ft tall and over 100 years old. Highly recommended!

Great experience with Great Scott from beginning to end. They actually answered the phone and came by the same day to give an estimate. The team arrived on time the following week. They removed two huge trees and grind the stumps, as well as trimming some trees around the power lines. Fast and professional. We’ll definitely call them for future work. Highly recommended.

Absolute professionals, they did a phenomenal job. We had a tree that was dead and threatening to fall on our house. They responded quickly and gave us quote that was lightyears below what other companies wanted. They saved us a ton of money while still providing us with an exceptional service. All of the staff were kind and safety was their number one priority. We even were able to keep some of the wood for projects and firewood and they dumped some of the mulch so we could use it later. Super good job

Today we had our Sycamore tree trimmed by Great Scott Tree Service. They did an awesome job for a fair price. They even cut down 3 dead branches from the adjacent Pine tree at no extra cost. They were very respectful of our property, ensured that no fencing was damaged, removed all branches and debris. In fact, they even raked up leaves in the yard that didn't occur during their job! We couldn't ask for a better tree service. We recommend them for your tree service needs.
