I recently dealt with Jamie, the Salesperson and admire her professionalism and patience in explaining the process as well as showing the structural design. She goes above and beyond. I will definitely be buying my new home from her soon. I will recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new house.

I could not be happier to have been blessed with the opportunity to work with Christopher Homes and design my dream house. I am working closely with the project manager Jamie Gerace. Let me just say, Jamie is such an angel. We met her at an open house for Christopher Homes, and after just a brief interaction with her, anyone can see that she is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. Since working closely with her, my family and I have completely fallen in love with her personality and strong character. I've seen very few people so diligently committed to providing quality and excellency in their work, the way I have seen Jamie do so astoundingly. She is a great communicator and answers texts, phone calls, and emails in a timely manner, so that I feel valued and appreciated as a customer. We feel so comfortable with her, and she has accommodated us so kindly, and we're so grateful to have her in our lives. The process of writing up our contract hasn't even finished, but I am so eager to spread the word about how fantastic she has been to us, as her clients. After almost a decade of trying to find or build my dream home, I could not feel more blessed to draw closer to the finish line with Jamie by my side. I'm so happy to not only think of Jamie as my wonderful project manager, but as a true friend to me. My family and I have nothing but positive words to say about her, and I can already tell that I will be going on and on about how highly I would recommend her to anyone for a very long time. I can honestly guarantee that anyone who works with Jamie should feel safe, confident, and excited about the fact that their project will be nothing short of an absolute success.

My husband and I just recently closed on our new home built by Christopher Companies, and we absolutely couldn’t be more pleased. The craftsmanship of our home more than exceeds our expectations. We worked with Jamie Gerace throughout the whole process; she is a true gem that has become a genuine friend of ours. Her enthusiasm and confidence in helping us get our home was so comforting especially during the stressful times. We purchased this home while living states away, and her communication was top notch. She kept us informed and sent updated pictures whenever possible. Her eye for design is evident in the little things that might be overlooked by most, but are very much appreciated by us. We love the lights under our kitchen cabinets and outlet conveniently placed on the floor of our living room. It is her knowledge and the builders at Christopher Companies that have created the perfect home for our family to enjoy and make many memories in.

A year ago, my family and I started house hunting for a new home. Christopher Companies houses fit our criteria: (1) great location, not too many houses that requires driving through huge developments to get to the main road, and (2) the attractiveness/style of the house itself, more like boutique houses in a small neighborhood. We contacted Jamie Gerace to inquire additional information. After several discussions with Jamie and reviewing of the new development Christopher Companies have been building, we agreed on signing the contract for my new house with the opportunity that Jamie presented us with. Since that day, my dealing with purchasing the new house has been the easiest and most importantly, stress-free, because of Jamie’s expertise and professionalism. Along the way and leading up to our closing day, Jamie has also taught and educated us on the new home buying process and has always been straight-forward and genuinely pleasant (like Disney World/no kidding) to work with. Her assistance continues after Closing as she always offer a helping hand when needed.
I am currently in my new home. And as expected with all new houses, there are certain matters that need to tend to. Christopher Companies builder managers, Mike Matchette and Keven Havenner have been very helpful from day one after our move-in and have gone out of their way to assist and accommodate with resolving issues as they came up.
I would recommend purchasing homes with Christopher Companies as I believe these representatives are genuinely decent people who have demonstrated their willingness to help. Buying home is not an easy process especially when we were also selling our old house at the same time. It is nice to know that we can trust people whom we do business with. Thank you. -
Recently signed up for a new home with Christopher companies Reserve at Spring Lake community for my clients. Jamie helped us with this new home purchase. Jamie is Very knowledgeable and very helpful person. I represented lot of clients with new constructions in Northern Virginia area over the last more than 19 years. This is the best experience I ever had. Jamie is the best. She is very honest and easy to work with. Thank you Jamie.

Christopher Companies homes are beautiful! Beyond the well made construction and designs, clearly they have hired some great people! Specifically, Jamie Gerace has been an absolute pleasure to work with! She is so friendly, understands the needs of the future homeowner, provides wonderful insight and helpful tips on budgeting, potential options to fit your needs, and neighborhood insights. She makes herself available to answer questions, goes the extra mile to help with modifications, and invests time with her customers so they know the end home will be their dream home. This is a wonderful builder with a wonderful staff!

Poor Customer Service
While not the original owner, I bought my house while it was still under Christopher Company's care under bond. They have since had to to replace my driveway apron to make it VDOT compliant twice. The first replacement was done in July and I am still trying to get them to fix the mess on my driveway now in November. (see pictures of concrete dust stains; this does not come up with a power washer!) They are not taking accountability for their contractor's work. I simply want my driveway to look as it did before they did all this construction. (also attached). I'm told it could be fixed by sealing the driveway, but they haven't done so and won't commit to fix the mess they created. -
I have been a Realtor in the area for 10+ years and have worked with many builders. Our experience with Christopher Companies was top notch. Liz Walker was one of the best new home sales managers I have worked with. She was totally transparent about everything throughout the process and very communicative with myself and my buyer clients. The site superintendent was also great and did one of the best final walkthroughs I've been a part of. He spent nearly 2 hours with my buyers going through the entire house and explaining different aspects and mechanical functions in great detail. Could not recommend Christopher Companies enough. They were great with the client, respected me as the agent, and ultimately delivered a beautiful home.

Buyers should be aware of the contract terms before signing with Christopher Companies.
When reviewing the purchase agreement for a new-construction townhome, I discovered the builder requires buyers to waive the Virginia statutory implied warranty under Va. Code §55.1-357. This is the state-mandated protection that ensures a new home is free from structural defects, built in a workmanlike manner, and fit for habitation.
The contract also states the home is sold “AS IS”, replaces the statutory warranty with the builder’s limited one-year warranty, and restricts buyers from bringing most legal claims after one year. This is not standard for many reputable new-construction builders in Northern Virginia.
I have contacted my Virginia state delegate about this issue because I believe consumers should be better protected, and I encourage other buyers to raise their concerns as well so we can help protect one another and promote fair practices.
Anyone considering a purchase should carefully read the warranty section, consider having an attorney review the waiver language, and get independent inspections. I’m sharing this to help other buyers understand the rights they may be giving up. -
We signed a fully ratified contract with Christopher Companies at The Preserve in Lorton Valley on 11/12/24 and were given an estimated move in window of mid-June. Since then, our settlement has been delayed three different times, all at the last minute, even after being given confirmed dates.
Our inspectors showed up for multiple scheduled appointments, including pre-drywall and final inspection, only to find the home not ready. We only learned this afterward through our realtor instead of being notified ahead of time. There has been no proactive communication at all.
We provided every document immediately, but we have been living out of storage and paying for temporary housing since August because of these repeated delays. We have had to adjust our work schedules several times based on move-in dates that keep changing.
Construction delays can happen, but the constant lack of communication and accountability has been the most disappointing part of this process. Concerns and questions are ignored, with no acknowledgement or response. Based on this experience, I do not recommend working with this company. It has been stressful, unprofessional, and the complete opposite of what buying a first home should be. -
We had an outstanding experience working with DeLinda Armstrong at Christopher Companies, and we truly cannot recommend her highly enough.
From our very first visit to the Christopher Companies model home, what stood out beyond the beautiful home itself was DeLinda’s amicable, warm, and welcoming presence. As first-time home buyers, we came in with many questions and uncertainties, and DeLinda immediately put us at ease. She took the time to educate us thoroughly, explaining everything from the home’s structure and design to available options and upgrades. From that first interaction, we felt confident and comfortable working with her.
DeLinda is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the homes she represents construction, layouts, materials, options, and the overall building process. She was incredibly detail-oriented, transparent, and patient, always making sure we understood what we were signing up for. She spent hours on calls with us, was consistently available to answer questions, and communicated clearly and proactively throughout the entire process.
What truly sets DeLinda apart is how much she genuinely advocates for her buyers. Even though she is the builder’s sales manager, we honestly felt like she was representing us. She took the time to understand our background, priorities, and needs, and offered thoughtful and fit-for-purpose suggestions. She even tried to negotiate on our behalf, which spoke volumes about her integrity and care.
We also deeply appreciated her honesty. DeLinda grounded us in reality and guided us through the process without ever painting an unrealistically rosy picture. That transparency gave us tremendous peace of mind. In fact, we felt so supported that we didn’t feel the need for a buyer’s agent, DeLinda went above and beyond, handling everything and more.
She is one of the best new home sales managers we have ever worked with professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and truly wonderful. Working with DeLinda made what could have been a stressful experience feel calm, informed, and positive. We are incredibly grateful for her support and cannot recommend her more highly. -
I can’t begin to express my gratitude for the exceptional home Christopher companies has blessed me with. I would give 100 stars if my home was delivered when originally scheduled. However, it’s always expected to plan for delays when buying a pre-construction home. During my build I observed that Christopher Companies cares for their employees. This may be the reason there might be delays. For example, they error on the side of safety over production, they value family/personal life balance over profit, etc. Yes, no one likes a late home but I can see why things can be delayed. Truly managing expectations is important and bad news is never welcome. However, this is why it’s so important that your real estate agent is a part of the home buying process. Seldom should the buyer have to be surprised about anything if the agent is working closely with the builder. In Closing, major respect for Mr.Regan and his leadership and how it plays out with the quality home I proudly own. Likewise, kevin the site supervisor is truly a good man And gives 100 percent.
