Shady business;
Christopher Companies LLC has a single house on Market addressed 1604 Colonial way Mclean VA that was listed on MLS as fee simple and no HOA. After agreeing on the price they said that it is part of Morgan at Mclean condominium (that they had built 2 or 3 years ago). The HOA was $260 first later $ 200 and then $100 they wanted to subsidize $160 and after 2 years we will be responsible for the condo fee on the single house afterward.
I think, This is a shady business to advertise the house as fee simple and no Home owner association and fter price agreement say oh by the way there is a condo fee.
After telling the this is not the way to do honest business the correct the MLS listing.

We found our new home when we were driving by in the neighborhood and looking for new construction homes. We were initially attracted to the beautiful stone facade exterior, a signature of Christopher Companies. It was stunning inside as well; elegant features such as high quality hardwood floors to granite countertops, among others, come standard. Z-Wave technology package and tankless water heaters make this Green building uniquely futuristic!

Wow, The Christopher Companies truly are a Quality by Design builder! From their Sales staff to their Construction team, all the way through Customer Service, these people actually care, have integrity and do make dreams come true! There standard features are upgrades with other builders, these folks provide the best value offered in a standard package I could find around town.

I have visited several homes that Christopher Companies built and I am very impressed with the professional workmanship and materials used in their homes. They do a great job and are very responsive to any requests made by clients. You can count on Christopher Companies to build a quality home for you. Go visit some of their model homes and see for yourself.

I purchased my house two years ago from Liz Walker, and it was the best decision I ever made. She was very informative, responsive, and provided the best customer service! She will do her best to work with you and assist you in making sure you are happy with the purchase. I couldn’t have been more pleased with her as my salesperson.

I bought a condo built by this company. It is cheap. Everything seems cheap. The floor tiles will indent from the furniture. The appliances are cheap. The fixtures are cheap. The cabinets are cheap. The construction between floors is cheap. They do not put enough concrete between floors, so you hear every step the neighbor above you takes!!! You can also hear other things!!! It seems they just want to make cheap condos and sell them. It is much better to move to a condo with better construction and more concrete between floors so you do not hear your neighbors...these are the bigger condo buildings with multiple floors. If I had it to do over, I would not have bought a condo from Christopher Companies!!! Beware!!!
12-16-22 Update: I emailed them. We talked on the phone about my condo complaints. Let's see if they take care of the problems. I will update again in the near future.
8-23-24 Update. After emails and talking on the phone, they have done nothing. Also, the plumbing in the buildings is terrible. I asked them to fix the plumbing. They refused. Other neighbors said they had to replace, with their own money, the tank and all the innards for the plumbing to work. If you are buying a condo, ask if it is built by Christopher Companies. If it is, run!

This is probably the worst house builder I’ve ever meet. Me and my family bought the house that Rocky Creek Terrace community and the whole experience is just sucks.
First of all , don’t ever trust the salesperson. They just a bunch of fraud and get extra money from your house. You will DIY some part of your house, then they will ask you sign an upgrade document for the DIY parts you select. If you sign the upgrade document you won’t get anything you pick from your DIY and you still have to pay for their ‘ upgrade items’ which just is trash.

Don’t pay anything for their security company. 1500$ wifi system is just some you can get online for 300$ and you can easily install yourself. We moving in one year and security system is still not installed. Right now the security company had been purchased and nobody is going to take care of us anymore. The lady from the the builder just be like‘ I make the phone call and then it is none of my business anymore. Don’t look for me and we won’t refund anything!’ So rn they still keep 4620$ from us with the builder and no service had ever been provided yet

Finally, if you moving in you will know the house! Everything in the house is kind of finished in a hurry. We don’t even have a working fridge at the first day we move in. Just don’t trust them, and if you have a better place to go , go somewhere else!!

The Christopher Companies truly cares about their customers and also the surrounding neighborhoods to not detract from the homes that are already there. Working with the Project Managers and the Superintendents during the building process is smooth and pain free. They are always there to answer your questions and calm any concerns along the way. Once your home is built, the Christopher Companies has by far the best and most responsive customer service department of any I have ever dealt with. Talk to them, buy from them, and you will be a happy customer for life!

Absolutely fell in love with this house and was pleased to work with Christopher Companies and their associates. Every part of our home buying process was swift and easy. Everyone was so supportive, helpful, and responsive with any of our ask. All of the finishes in the home meets beyond our expectations and truly high quality work! My husband and I recently closed on a new home built by Christoper Companies. Building a new home during a pandemic was bound to come with its ups and downs but Jamie, our sales manager, was really able to help guide us through the process. She was incredibly responsive and would go to bat for us with the building/project team. If you are considering building a home with Christopher Companies I would see if you can work with Jamie!

We could not be happier! We have looked everywhere and they are by far the best. We worked with Jamie and we really couldn’t have asked for better. She was so helpful and patient with us. She went over all the options and made us feel so comfortable with the whole process. Jamie is the best, we wouldn’t want to work with anyone else. We cannot wait to build our new home!!!
