Reviews of local pros in Onancock, Virginia

Outstanding work and very fair. Listens to customer questions and very good at answering so customer understands. I would highly recommend Chris.

I called about a serious problem with my electric Wednesday morning. He came out early Wednesday afternoon and determined what needed to be done, classified it as an urgent job, and had it completed (including having to order parts) by Friday. It would have been completed on Thursday, but the electric company could not disconnect the power that day. I have never had a more courteous, professional, helpful repair service. The price was absolutely fair. I was not penalized for having an emergency, and I was not taken advantage of being a single female. I would recommend this company to anyone, and I will definitely call again if the need should arise!

Chris Holston is a true professional. He attends to every detail of a job thoroughly and completely. We asked him to work through some pretty tricky wiring challenges associated with our older, totally renovated home, and he achieved above and beyond. You can't go wrong with Holston Electrical. We'll have him back any and every time we need professional electrical work.

Chris was on time and did an excellent job installing several large light fixtures and restoring electrical systems in our barn. I would highly recommend him.

I recently purchased an older home that needed updating. Chris did a fantastic job! He arrived on time for our appointments and was there when he said he would be. He addressed some new issues in addition to the originally planned work. He was always respectful and professional. Chris took the time to explain things to me that were very valuable to know. I've never worked with another electrician who was more communicative than Chris!!! I was very happy with his quote and the quality of his work. He is a treasure - I'm so happy to have been connected with him!!!

Chris recently restored electrical service to our garage. He has always been very professional, responsive to questions and calls, and thorough. We recently purchased a 110+ year-old home and wanted to ensure all the electrical was safe and met current standards. Chris Holston did an exceptional job. In addition to identifying some potential hazards, Chris helped us lay out a plan for some essential upgrades. He is highly knowledgeable, professional, and conscientious. He is also prompt, courteous, and thorough. I trust him and have a high level of confidence in his work. I will call him for any future work and also recommend him highly to others. We were lucky to find him. These photos show just one example of the work he did.

Wow!! Service within a couple of hours of my call!! Chris was quick to see the problem and fix it. And then he showed me the damage . No more electric heaters. I will definitely recommend Holston Electrical and call again for electrical repairs. And the price was much more reasonable than I thought it would be. Thank you!

Chris really came through forMallards at the Wharf. Came in today and none of our heat pumps (3) were running. Chris quickly discovered the problem and we were back up and running! In this really cold weather we might have had frozen pipes and who knows what that could’ve cost. Holston Electric is the best!
Thanks Chris

On a Saturday evening my father's power went out and in the mix of it we heard a pop than saw a smoking Dish box. Chris returned my call right away. He asked lots of questions and gave great advice. He came to the house on a Sunday morning. He checked all outlets, changed two!. He showed me everything he did and why. He gave me great advice. Even helped me changed light bulbs because I couldn't get the cover off.

I always recommend J&J Electrical. I used to be an electrician, so I can do the small stuff, but I prefer an expert like Jason when a project is over my head!

Jason did a great job on the multiple tasks I had for him. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I would definitely recommend J&J Electric for any electrical work that needs to be done.
