This is my favorite plant nursery! Walking in is like entering a tropical paradise. It’s got a homey, small-town atmosphere with very friendly staff. There’s always a good selection of plants. Mostly tropical houseplants, so your usuals like pothos and philodendrons. Some hard-to-keep houseplants like alocasias, but plenty of easy-care plants like snake plants. Everything is always so, so healthy. The plants are always well watered, and many sport plenty of new growth. Hardly any brown leaves to be seen on the plants in this store. Everything is so well cared for. The prices are my favorite part. Plants in three-inch pots are very cheap, and this place gives you plenty of bang for your buck. The pots are always packed with plenty of growth. Nothing is sparsely filled at all. The prices on rarer plants are quite good too, and it’s enjoyable to come in every so often to see the new arrivals. When you enter, they keep cardboard trays that make transporting plants a breeze. There’s a nice selection of terracotta pots available that lend themselves well to craft projects, or for folks who like something a little more upscale than the standard plastic planter. This place has everything a budding houseplant parent could ask for. Whether you’d like a small nursery starter, a hanging plant, or something big that’ll take up plenty of floor space. Every shopping experience here has been pleasant, and I can’t wait to visit again! The cashier is also incredibly sweet and very helpful! If you’re looking for your next houseplant, you’ve found the place!

I've lived in Hampton Roads my entire life and this was my first time visiting here. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful! It makes you feel as though you stepped back in time. The Christmas display was so beautiful and I'm sad that we didn't visit before Christmas. We'll definitely be back next year. I highly recommend anyone stop in. Especially those with children. It's truly magical!

We always have the best experience here. Everyone is knowledgeable and helpful, the products and variety are great. It’s such a small town feel in the best way. We love going all year round for our planting needs and also for their Christmas and Santa house.

Don’t waste your time and money at the box stores. I just visited this place for the first time last week & they had everything I’d ever needed for my yard. All easier to find & at a lower price. Also, it’s clear that they take really good care of their plants. Not a sick, infested, or dying/dried out plant to be found. Great selection, very impressed!!

A wonderful place to go if you are Norfolk, Va. They have an excellent variety of tools, seeds, feeders, plants and more!!!

I love this store! Everyone I've ever spoken to there has been so helpful, whether it was gardening advice, carrying things to my car, or finding me someone to answer questions. They always recommend the best products without ever upselling.

They helped me make the squirrels stop digging for half the price I was about to spend on pest control products.

I'm not allowed to go in the indoor plant area anymore, because I can't stop buying house plants... They have a pretty great house plant reward punch card thing, and a completely ridiculous selection, so they always have something I don't have yet...

Great selection on plants and they have kitties roaming the building! If I could give a higher review I would on that alone. Very nice staff, and I do love Lowe’s, but this place made you feel like you’re at home. It takes you back to a country home feel and I love it. If you love plants and a magical sense to them go here!

I Love this place! I have been a customer for 2 years now and will continue to be. They have such a wide variety of anything you want to grow! I have grown 1 new plant a year since going here. Last year I grew Epazote and this year Patchouli. They have very friendly, knowledgeable employees. I never feel embarrassed asking a question here. They'll even help you load you truck, of you smile real nice...jk. They are great!

When it comes to gardening I really like to use the best possible tools, so I always come here to Feed and Seeds. The equipment here is just great for a very reasonable price and the staff is also very helpful when I have some specific questions. I really like spending time here to get everything I need for gardening.

This place was absolutely fantastic. So many things to see and everyone involved were professional and uplifting. The family really enjoyed all the sights, popcorn and hot coco!

My wife really likes this place for their nursery. We recently visited and she happily left with some great plants.

A great Family business. A very friendly and helpful staff of caring people. There plants and flowers are the best in town and handmade on-site beautiful wreaths.
They also have their Christmas Wonderland open now. Go visit.

I *LOVE* Norfolk County Feed & Seed. I visit at least once a week, most of the time, and the employees recognize me!

They’re very down-to-earth and comfortable to be around—and don’t hesitate to offer more affordable solutions to your garden hiccups (like spider mites), especially if you ask for something lower-end.

They’re always selling fresh produce from locals (tomatoes, peppers, collards, etc.) for prices cheaper & quality BETTER than that in grocery stores.

*I always come here first, rather than a chain garden store.

We love this place for the FREE annual indoor/outdoor lights. They have a train and beautiful decorations inside and you get to talk to Santa♥️ Towards the end is cookies, cocoa, and popcorn. Thank you all so much as the feed and seed for doing this every year. This will always be part of our annual tradition!
