Tree reviews in Powhatan, Virginia

We have nothing but good things to say.
We hired Mark to remove 6 large trees in a small area close to house and power lines. Was very impressed with his techniques and workmanship.
Work was performed in 1 day and cleaned up yard when finished.
We are very satisfied with Mark and his Crew. We also hired him to do tree work on another property of ours.
This company is highly recommended.

Mr. Tuttle's team was fast, friendly, and competitively priced. Had 4 trees taken down, 3 near electric lines and one near our house. All done safely and with care towards the surrounding yard. I'll definitely call on them for our next tree service project.

Let me say that Mark Tuttle and his crew are AMAZING!!!!!! Just a day after getting an estimate on my job they were here and did an excellent job. Cleaned up like nothing ever happened. This is the tree service to go with. And to top it all off, Mark had the best price around. You won't go wrong. Thanks guys!!!!!!

Mark Tuttle came out quickly to provide a quote and do a visual of our yard to determine equipment and the amount of time the job would take. Work was completed with expertise and did not damage or impact our home or yard negatively. We highly recommend this company for removal of trees and stumps. Professionalism was outstanding.

We had 3 trees that needed to come down at our house and not one of them was in an ideal position. Two were in our backyard in close proximity to the house and a large play structure and the third was in striking distance of the front of the house. Mark came out the day after we made the call and met us for an estimate. We had several other trees that offered us some concern. Mark was thorough in his explanation and gave us some solutions to try to save a few of the trees. He gave us a frankly ridiculously fair price for taking down 3 trees that were over 70+ feet tall. His crew showed up two days later. They did most of the work while we were at work but were finishing up in the late afternoon. They were polite and very conscientious and asked us to inspect everything when they were done to insure our satisfaction. They did a great job in clean up and attentiveness to detail-- other than the trees themselves being gone you can't tell they were here. I would highly recommend his services and I know if we ever need tree work again - we will be calling him!

Let me say I will recommend Mark, Nicholas, and his whole team to anyone needing tree service. We just had 6 trees removed due to over growth. Mark and team were so professional and did an amazing job of cutting down the trees, cleaning up the debris, and grinding stumps. His lead man Nicholas is top notch on the bucket truck but the entire team were terrific. And let me say, at a very fair price. They would not leave until every stick had been picked up. I would give them 10 stars for their work. Thank you Mark and team!

Mark and his team did a fantastic job! Mark answered his phone right away, came out the next morning gave me an estimate, which was the best price I received by far, and started right away. His team took down 7 trees extremely close to the house and worked with the precision of a surgeon! In half a day everything was done, cleaned up and you wouldn't even know they had been there it was so neat! Absolutely magnificent I couldn't be happier I will definitely use them again!

Mark Tuttle Tree Service is great! Mark and his crew worked for 3 days removing unwanted trees and did a very good job at a very fair price. I am very pleased with the results. Another wonderful Powhatan, VA business!! Thanks, Mark.

Mark did a great job. I texted him to confirm over the weekend that he would be here Monday. He responded immediately. When Monday came he called ahead of time to request vehicles be move, which I appreciated. He and his guys arrived on time & went straight to work. After 2.5 hours of non stop hard work they were done. They did the work exactly as I requested and left my yard as clean as they found. Fair prices and good work. I will definitely refer them to other!

Mark Tuttle Tree Service is one of the best! Always reliable and willing to go that extra mile that makes his company great. He is experienced and has worked in many tree removal situations to include: dangerous trees, trees near structures such as fences or gardens, storm damage, and all aspects of routine tree removal. Mark is polite, professional, and competent. From your first phone call to the completion of the job, you will be very satisfied.

I was delighted with the services provided. I had a limb fall & shatter my windshield. Called and got an appointment the same day I called. Got an estimate to take down 5 trees & limb several others. EXCELLENT service, they hauled the timber out, used a chipper for ALL branches &, blew of the deck & driveway . They completed 95% of the job in 1day and were back early the next day to finish. Fee as quoted, very respectful staff!

Used Mark and his crew multiple times for dead trees on my property , they are always quick , polite , and get the job done when they say they will be. Mark and his team are very polite folks and are a pleasure to deal with!

From start to finish, truly a professional operation. Mark answered my call for a free estimate and within 24 hours visited my property to discuss what I was looking to do. I was given a competitive price on the spot and after getting competitive bids from other tree companies, decided to go with Mark.

Mark called and scheduled a day and time to do the work and his crew showed up at noon, took down six fairly large oak trees that were close to the house, did some trimming of branches close to the house and cleaned up all of the branches / debris in about 4 hours. They also hauled the logs and stacked them in a location near my driveway where I could access them to cut up into firewood.

Could not of asked for a better job! Any future tree work I do I will not hesitate to call Mark Tuttle Tree Service! Would recommend this company to anyone looking to have trees cut from top to bottom, professionally, neatly, and safely!

We built a house last year on a heavily wooded lot, and needed about 1/3 acre cleared to make space for a garden and chickens, and to clear tall trees from around ground-mounted solar panels. First, Mark Tuttle is a pleasant owner and just a great person to talk to. His team of tree professionals were amazing. Looking at them reminded me of my time in the military because their work was well coordinated and synchronized like a well-oiled machine. We are very pleased with the work they did over the past two days, and would certainly use them again!

We were so impressed with the whole process from having Mark out to look at our tree to the actual tree removal itself. Mark responded super quickly and gave a very fair price for the job. The job was done in a reasonable time and the guys were awesome! Very professional and did a great job taking the tree down and cleaning up. Would highly recommend and definitely will use for any future needs! Thanks so much!

This company came out and took down two double trees. They were leaning toward my house and had split at the bottom of the tree. They did an excellent job. Cleaned up the mess so my husband wouldn't have to. Thank you guys for the great service we received.

I called Mark to take care of trees I had allowed to grow too close to my home. In some cases they were causing roofing damage and I was concerned that a bad storm could bring one down on top of the house. Limited access to the areas made it seem like a nearly impossible task. Mark came in with a team of professionals and every man knew his job well. They went to work and completed the entire job, including clean up, in just a half day. I couldn't be happier with the results or more impressed with the level of professionalism of the Mark Tuttle organization. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I had an Oak Tree that was too close to my house for comfort, so I decided to search for a reputable Tree Company that could do the job. I prefer to patronize local businesses whenever possible, so when I went online to search for a tree company, Mark Tuttle Tree Service was at the top of the list. His website drew me to his company, because it had a personal touch and showed that his company had the equipment needed to do the job. When Mark came to my house, he was very respectful, knowledgeable and professional. He gave me options when it came to the cost of the job and I was given the opportunity to choose what I could afford without any sales pitch. He contacted be in a timely manner, letting me know when his crew would arrive; his crew arrived as promised and represented his company at the highest level. I was in awe watching his crew perform a potentially dangerous job with ease! They were so respectful to me and my property; they possess outstanding skills and abilities! I would not hesitate hiring Mark Tuttle Tree Service again and recommend him to others.

Mark and his crew took down nine trees for us in August and we were extremely pleased with their work from beginning to end. When we called Mark for a quote he came out right away. He walked the yard with us and made great suggestions on which trees needed to come down and how they would proceed. He also gave us a very fair price right on the spot.
Mark and his team showed up as scheduled and the whole crew was very polite and professional throughout the project. Some of the trees were very big and close to the house, so it was not an easy project. But Mark and his guys were very careful with our property and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards.
We were so pleased with Mark’s work that we recently had him come back to remove 3 more trees, and we now consider him our “tree guy”! We highly recommend Mark and his guys.

Mark and his team did an amazing job on my trees! First off the price was extremely fair and honest. As first time home owners I worried about someone trying to swindle us when giving an estimate on our massive yard. Not only did this happen, but Mark and his office manager made the whole process easy. My husband called him and within the hour he was at our house giving an estimate. We have a giant oak that split towards the top and one side was dead. Instead of insisting to remove the entire tree(very expensive) alternate options were offered to keep the price affordable and hopefully save the tree rather than just chop it down. His crew swung through every tree in my yard with methodic precision and removed every limb that needed to be removed with ease. I had to leave halfway through for an appointment and after seeing the work they were doing, I felt confident in leaving because I knew it would be done properly. It takes A LOT for me to feel comfortable enough to do that. They trimmed my crate and myrtle for no additional cost as well just because my husband asked about it. You can trust these folks to get the job done when you're away and know when you come home everything will be taken care of as expected. I have told everyone I know to use this service, and am a customer for as long as they remain in business! There are many tree services to go with, but are they as honest, kind, and affordable? Doubtful.
