After a very late confirmation, 2 people showed up when the city of Richmond did not have water. They proceeded to clean the house while I went to work. I came back about an hour and a half later and it looks like they only dusted and vacuumed. I offered them a swiffer mop and they did not use it. Bathrooms were not cleaned properly as the sinks still had tooth paste on them. Showers were not cleaned thoroughly or were not cleaned at all. Fans were not dusted and no mirrors were clean. They proceeded to charge us the full amount. I DO NOT recommend this company.

We've been using River City Cleaning for almost 6 years now and are very happy with everything they do. They are great with our standard cleanings every other week and the occasional deep clean when the house really needs it. The scheduling is simple, they are always on time. We work with Tammy S. and Paige T. who are wonderful and do an immaculate job. It's clear that RCC takes the time to make sure you have a great experience with each team member. It's such a relief to have River City Cleaning take care of our home!

James T. has been doing a great job keeping our office clean! River City is a great cleaning company and very responsive and quick to get on any issues that may come up.

My in laws recently had a cleaning done by this company and it was a disaster. Crumbs in the kitchen, toilets missed, dust everywhere, dog fur on the floor? Scorecards aren’t worth filling out, been there done that. My dad keeps letting them come but my wife just said this needs to stop. It stresses her out because my daughter comes and cleans on the weekends when she visits from college. We interviewed multiple companies this week including the one we like. It’s time to move on. The owner herself has gotten the feedback and just doesn’t care, this has been going on since maybe last spring. We know a few others that are with this company and they have grown tired of the same type of issues. They just keep paying the bill and we are kind of wondering why? My in laws are going to compare cleans silently and if this doesn’t work out this company gets the boot. That. Is. It.

Really appreciated the services of River City Cleaning, from start to finish they were awesome. I hired NeatNest to help make sense of my home, and they did not disappoint! Sara and her team arrived right on time and immediately got to work. Even though it wasn’t an extremely messy place, there were areas that that needed attention, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. They handled everything with care and attention to detail, while still being respectful of my space, efficient and left everything looking refreshed and spotless.

I really appreciated their thoroughness, little things like wiping down baseboards, neatly arranging items on the countertops, and even folding my blankets decoratively on my bed. It’s clear that they take pride and what they do.

Well, my house is now cleaner than I’ve ever seen it before (including the day I moved in, also including right after my previous cleaners did a deep clean). I have a pretty large house, three giant dogs, all of whom shed, and a father who neither notices nor cares about cleanliness; it’s too much cleaning for me. Sara and her colleague did such a great job; they got to all of those little places that I can’t keep up with (hence my random photos of dust-free baseboards and shiny louvers). There is literally no dog hair in the rug; I might have to go out and buy their brand of vacuum. I recommend getting on their schedule while there’s room, because I’m pretty sure their regulars are going to stay long-term. Also, go for that first deep-clean because it feels so nice.
