Great service! Ethan the owner is a young professional trying to make a start and with the quality and personal touch I am positive he will succeed. I had a main breaker go bad and called around to everyone with “high reviews” thinking like most they would be the best. After being told they were to busy to many times I called Smithfield electric. Ethan came out after work hours to make sure he could come by and at least look at the problem so I could have electricity back as soon as possible. the next day he had gotten the part I needed and installed with no hassle. great service form an individual who respects and truly enjoys his job.

Ethan is wonderful to work with. He arrives when scheduled and performs quality work in a professional manner. Had several light fixtures and ceiling fans replaced, outlets added in the garage and outdoor lighting installed around our home. Very pleased and would definitely recommend Smithfield Electric!

Nat and Pat communicated and kept me updated on arrival time. They informed and explained everything thoroughly. They were very professional. Would definitely use and refer them for any electrical services in the future!

We had an issue where our smoke detectors were going off full blast in the middle of the night for half a minute then repeating every hour or so until the morning. Not the normal low battery chirp. I also had a really loud scary buzzing sound behind the multiple switches in the master bathroom that lasted for about 30 seconds I called Smithfield electric and talked with Ethan who sent Zack his assistant over. Very professional, he diagnosed and fixed both issues in an hour. While they were there they noticed my main panel had some burning on the main metal bar and too many things on the panel. I was so impressed with them I had them install a new main panel, a ceiling fan in my office and a new circuit to handle my large printer. They also installed a light and outlet in our walk in pantry. I have a list of other stuff I'd like done that we're saving up for. Their prices are really good so hopefully we can call them back soon. Very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I even checked their license before hiring them so they are good to go, give them a call!

Ethan arrived on time for our appointment. He reviewed our request for installation of fixtures, outlets and switches. He also recommended the proper generator for our main and sub panel. Smithfield Electric provided exceptional and timely service. I worked directly with Ethan to develop the scope of work and he provided an immediate estimate. When the techs had finished the planned work, I had identified one additional task I would like completed. Since it was a new request they did not have the parts to complete it on hand, however they scheduled a return trip two days later to finish up. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend this company.

Been waiting a week with no estimate and paid 98.00 to have one not good business. Not impressed especially when got what you got when you came here FREE and still no estimate. Tools and organization impresses people but good customer service goes a lot further.

The guys did a fantastic job! They were out in less than 24 hours to repair my outlet. This is my second experience with them. They will always be my first choice for electrical work!

Had 2 GFCI outlets that weren't working yesterday so I entered a request for service online. My error was that I hadn't requested an estimate. My husband had determined the breaker was fine and attempted to fix them last night but did not plug anything into them afterwards (our issue). As soon as the electrician applied the tester, green light came on. And the other GFCI immediately worked as well. Electrician screwed the 1 outlet cover back on. We checked to make sure grooming equipment worked when plugged in and it did. It all took less than 15 minutes and cost was $292.00. Outrageous in my opinion!

This was a very pleasant experience. Our tech, Deondre, was very knowledgeable and personable, and immediately found the issue we've been dealing with for a long time. We had a chance to discuss potential future work and get recommendations that will help us address other issues at home.

I do not recommend. I had an issue with one of my outlets in my home. They came out to check it, and the tech said there was an electrical problem and needed to be fix fo safety concerns. Told me the price would be very minimal. The Tech only changed on gfci outlet and I recieved a bill for $350. The Tech was not very upfront about pricing nor do they advertise there pricing. The gfci outlet they repaired cost $19.00. Poor business practice because they will not give you a true price for work upfront.

Today I was not quoted what the company technician was charging for to replace circuit breaker before installing one circuit breaker. He never trouble shooted th let me know if it was defected or not. So after talking to me while taking cover off of breaker box. He did have an assistant with him. He had see if any lights up stairs went out for power on that breaker.however he ask what did I want to do. I said that I wanted the breaker. So he went to his to check for replacement. He came back and said he had one. He change breaker. Then I asked how much was this service today and he $477 I said are you serious. He never used a meter or any tools but a screw driver. I felt this was a honest company. They should have told me that $425 was service charge plus parts. I paid because I don't have an electrical back ground. And I did not ask pricing before he did the work. I am totally dissatisfied for the pricing of this job. The technician ask me before he changed break did I have any electrical experience. And I replied no. At this point I guess he felt. I got you. And he did.

Alicia got me scheduled quickly. Pat & Nat were smart, professional, and honest. They assessed the situation and proceeded to fix the problem with my pool light much quicker than we thought. I highly recommend their services.

I called Smithfield Electric in a panic because of some bad electrical work by another electrician. Alisha, a member of the front office staff, was so helpful and due to a cancelation was able to work me in.

Smithfield Electric sent me a text so I would know when the electrician would arrive. Patrick was professional and courteous and was able to troubleshoot a circuit issue that was causing a number of outdoor plugs to lockup. I was out of the area and he walked me through the situation over the phone and left the area clean afterwards. Patrick performed an outstanding job. He even made sure our garage door was closed before he left.

The experience was top-notch from beginning to end. The work needing to be done was explained in a clear and understandable manner. All questions were answered, and any concerns were addressed with expertise. The quality of work was exceptional, showing expertise and attention to detail.
