Mauro’s team cleared a large tree near our property. Professionally done and site cleared very well. Well done and recommended.

I used Mauro's a few years back for a limb removal. So when I needed an estimate for a few limbs to be removed - I called/emailed/texted Mauro's to schedule an estimate for this job. When I called I spoke to someone who said to text her my contact information/address. Eventually we scheduled an estimate for Sun - 5/12/24 @ 9:30am. Sat - 5/11/24 I get a text stating they are in my area and would like to run by. I changed my schedule to accommodate them - but then they never showed up - so a reconfirmed our scheduled meeting Sunday. Sunday morning I get an email they cancelled the estimate meeting. Since then the company has gone dark - not taking any phone calls/voice mails/texts. I have never had such a difficult time scheduling an estimate/meeting as a former customer. If I could give them a ZERO, I would. I work - so I have provided them dates/times that I am available - still NOTHING - NO REPSONSE.

I just used Mauro's Tree Svc. I'm glad I employed them for the three large trees that needed to come down on my property in Arlington, VA.

I found Mauro's team excellent in every way, including price, speed, care, and clean up.

I watched the team during roughly 4 to 5 hours and I was impressed at how much control they had over where the various branches --and in some cases ~8 foot long trunks with diameters in some cases over 2 feet. Both came rest in controlled descents snubbed by crew on the ground holding tethering ropes.

Perhaps the most problematic tree for me was a wild cherry tree that branched around the power drop to my house and then developed some disease and in recent years proceeded to rot, seeming even killing some neighboring vegetation.

Before we got started Mauro and his staff made thoughtful suggestions that illustrated flexibility and interest in the outcome of their work. For example, I'd considered trimming some of my tall Maple trees but Mauro said that they looked like strong healthy trees that didn't seem to be in need of trimming.

I have seldom seen a crew that had better skills, including team work, safety, and thinking ahead. They stayed on the job through the clean up phase. They agreed to hold off on payment until the job was complete.

The level of service extends to the person answering my initial phone call. They knew exactly where the crew was and when they could get over to start my job. This is no longer the norm in most service industries who often use generic answering services and about all they know is that you'll get a call back (. . . at some point . . . hopefully) and meanwhile your left in the dark.
