BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!
Steadfast construction installed a deck for my home. They did not properly grade under the deck so I had to have them tear down the frame to properly grade! AS you know Arlington can have flooding issues and we also have a basement. They did not plan for a proper installation and the crew was clueless on what to do. The EXPENSIVE deck was not installed correctly. The Fiberon composite deck should have an overhang on the stairs, which was not done. The Border was also not done correctly. They used TREX spacers for the deck instead of Fiberon which voids the warranty. So that also had to be replaced. The decking should be laid from the front to the back, but again was not done correctly and the deck is awkward and unprofessionally done. the VP of the company Jack was VERY unprofessional and told me I reminded him of his WIFE because I asked him to fix my almost 20k deck! Every step of the deck installation was done poorly and it is reflected in the "final product". This deck is crooked and falling apart already!! It was an awful experience. Please BEWARE of this company. They are shady and unprofessional. I was so disappointed. They cut so many corners!

I was never ok with the final product. That is FALSE. Your company never completed my deck and it looks terrible. You left materials in my yard and did not FIX anything. Your company is DISHONEST. There are so many issues with this deck and YES I have the right to ask for a second opinion if I am uncomfortable with a project on my property.

I had a patio, covered pergola, sliding glass door, lights, and steps installed -- Steadfast did a great job from beginning to end. Everyone I interacted with went above and beyond for me. Honestly I can't say enough nice things about them and their work. The door install, the pergola, the steps, and the electrical are all high-quality and I sincerely appreciate it. I certainly did not expect this process to be a smooth one but they made it look easy.

Back in January 2022 when we decided to add a sunroom in our house, we started by reaching out to contractors we found in Angi’s list. We requested three companies to come over and give us an estimate. Based on the conversation we had with these companies, we decided to go with Steadfast Construction. We were impressed by Jake Greenspun’s approach of explaining things and the cost estimate. Although there were no personal referrals, we went by our gut in choosing Steadfast. We are glad for that that we made the right (rather perfect) decision. The work was supposed to start in early June but actually started on June 20, 2022, as Jake asked us to wait for one of his best crew to do the work. We are glad that we waited as Mirko and his partner Jose were unbelievable. Whatever I write here will not fully justify the quality of work and the advice they gave us along the way. Mirko is a perfectionist. We now have an outstanding sunroom completed in less than two months and please bear in mind that there was no work for two weeks while waiting for the special-order windows to arrive. I would also like to give a shout out to Omar Ruiz from the office who was always available to answer my questions promptly and the follow-up he did on the work. I would whole heartedly recommend Steadfast Construction and especially Mirko and his crew to do the job.
