When I bought a shrub from here they were all about don’t worry if it dies you can bring it back and exchange it no problem. The plant died almost instantly. When I brought it back in its original pot, with the companies name, date and price, along with proof of my purchase, they said they wouldn’t even exchange it. I was looking to exchange the plant and buy several more plants. Now I won’t even return to this place. I have many friends in the landscaping business and I will make sure to let them know to avoid this place. Very poor business/customer service move.

Management needs to teach some of the new hires what basic service is. Greeting customers, or at least acknowledging them when they say, "Hi," instead of barking out a surly, "What can I get you?". And is it so hard to say, "Thank you" at the end if a transaction?

I purchased compost. No effort was required on her part other than to ring up the sale. There were no other customers waiting in line, but she acted like I was her 5000th customer of the day.

I know my business means nothing to this company, but I will be doing everything I can to get these materials elsewhere.

The staff was super friendly! I was sold pond plant in plastic bag that ended up leaking all over my car... ( I would have payed extra for the dollar store cache pot they had it in)

I loved it. Wonderful place with a good selection of quality plants and other items in a convenient location that is relatively easy for access considering the location. They definitely have better stock and higher quality than the big box DIY places like Lowe's and Home Depot, and they are a local business. I choose them every time they have what I want even if available from L's or HD's. Highly recommended.

We just moved into our house last week and came in today to browse for some outdoor plants & flowers.. within .5 seconds an employee came out “can I help you!” And I said “yes, do you have a trash can first” because I had something in my hands.. and wanted to have my hands free in case I had to carry anything out. and she completely ignored that question.. She had her arms crossed majority of the interaction:. then said “well what are you looking for..” when I just got there… and I said some outdoor flowers etc, something that won’t die really easily preferably and she said “well a shrub would be good.. shrub, like a bush.” Talking to me like I was ignorant… and honestly if I wanted a shrub I would’ve just asked for that…. But I wanted to come look and decide.. Her energy was very off putting and abrasive. I am unsure if I we were being discriminated based on our orientation… but my partner and I both felt weird about it.. and I don’t understand any other reason for someone to act like that when we just walked in. Never felt so unwelcome and judged. I was really looking forward to getting some pretty plants today. But instead we walked out with nothing.

Absolutely love this place for soil and mulch. We have gotten pretty much all our gardening needs met here with soil, compost, mulch and gravel, and such good price! We have gotten some soil mix from London Bridge nursery once, but the soil comes with so much rocks and pest, and more expensive, so we continued to come back here.

I will say one of the forklift drivers gave us some doubts... but he seems to pick up his acts since then. We witnessed him hitting the trailer with his forklift very hard that it was jammed into the trailer (that hole is probably visible today)... he was probably new at that time considering he missed a quarter of the dump outside our truckbed. But the last time we were there, he's gotten better about dumping and just general customer service.

Excellent selections and great service. Large special order completed accurately and on time. Some selections were a bit pricier than local competitors, but the trees and bushes were significantly better pruned, shaped, and groomed. Highly recommend. Staff was very knowledgeable.

Mulch is about $40 per yard and they'll load it right into the back of your pickup truck. Couldn't ask for a cheaper, faster service. They also have a great selection of plants and shrubs that are bigger and cheaper than the local big box stores

The personnel attention from Four Seasons is unmatched anywhere. We have always felt they valued us as important. They can assist with questions and make suggestions. We have also used there rental storage space for quite some time in thw past few years. They provide perfect service, pricing and products.

I was seeing pansies but they weren't healthy looking till I went to Four Seasons. The mngr was friendly and helpful and even gave me a pretty tray to carry the plants I got which were pansies. Hers were brilliant in color and hearty.
I plan to go back this weekend for more. You will not be disappointed. She buys locally from Chesapeake and gives discounts to veterans and 1st responders. Liked that best as I've not seen 1st responders acknowledged before

Great people!! We’ve bought plants and materials from them for our home. As well as gravel, sand & fill for our business for years now. Have never once had a bad experience. They offer a discount for business. I’m not gonna say how much exactly because I’m not certain if the amount fluctuates with the type of material or the quantity. I will say it has been substantial and we would not consider going anywhere else. Spend your hard money in a place where that money will stay in our community any chance you get. Four Seasons is an opportunity to just that. The quality and the service will make you glad you did!

This is the only Nursery I go to! The people here are friendly each and every time. I have purchased Premium Blend Soil from here on multiple occasions and the quality does not fluctuate.

On one occasion I hauled 8 loads and the last load I wanted to pick up was 2 minutes before closing. The associate was friendly and processed the payments and welcomed me to come back the next day to continue my project!

The loader operator did not get upset either just told me to pull around to get the soil.

Some may not think to much of this, but to me this shows that this business has Class!

I showed up today, fully expecting to purchase some topsoil as I needed a spot in my yard leveled off for a shed. The gentleman who assisted me notified me that he had free fill and it save me a great deal of money. It’s not very often that your fine honest business is like this I would like to thank them for saving me some money, and I will certainly be back to purchase my mulch.

While I didn’t actually purchase anything today I got a lot more than my money’s worth and more from a wonderful person at 4 seasons nursery. I spent a very pleasant afternoon getting the education and advice that I have always been seeking from some of the other local nursery and garden centers but have never received. And now that I have the knowledge and ideas I feel much more confident in being able to come back and make my purchases without being afraid of buying plants just to end up with 3/4 of them dying on me because I really didn’t know where to place them or understand how they really would work in my particular growing environment. Not only did I have a great experience but I also noticed that their plant selections and prices are so much better than most of the other places nearby and they have beautiful healthy looking specimens also! I’m not usually the type to gush, but please give them a try.
