We have had a contract with Sunscapes for over 4 years and have always had a great experience. They are passionate about what they do and it shows. They take care of all of our needs from cutting grass, trimming trees and we just had a water feature put on our site. Their crew is always courteous and hard-working. We can't say enough about how wonderful they are. We look forward to continuing a great partnership.

We are thrilled with the new outdoor kitchen BBQ and fire pit! The quality is outstanding, from the materials to the design! Josh was very easy to work with and made suggestions along the way to be more accommodating to the space! We have enjoyed making s'mores around the fire pit and listing to the sound of the fountain to complete what we needed for the space and look forward to hosting gathering with the BBQ and plenty of counter space!

Josh and Sunscape did an awesome job w/our fire pit, paver installation, drainage, and landscaping around our pool area. The quality of work, communication throughout the job, and professionalism of work was top notch! I could not be more pleased with the work he and his company did.

Joshua is not only a person that gets the job done on time and with perfection, he is also a brilliant landscape artist! All you have to do is throw out a few thoughts you have about your look and he runs with it and makes it beautiful. Not only that, he looks out for you. If he's sees anything that needs to be done while he's in the neighborhood he will connect with you and offer suggestions. My favorite thing about Joshua is you can contact him with questions and he will get back to you with answers. I'll never use another landscaping group. Love this one!!!!

Josh and his crew from Sunscape Land Works are absolutely amazing. They were working in my neighbors yard so I walked out to see what they were doing. They were finishing up with the removal of all the bushes, plants, weeds in the beds. They still had some nandinas to remove, that were in excellent shape. I asked Josh if I could have a few, he said sure and asked, “where do you want them.” I showed him the location and thought he would carry them over and just set them down. Not only did he carry them over, he dug the holes and he planted them. While he was at it I asked if he would remove two pitiful looking roses. He did all of this out of the kindness in his heart. He made my day and I couldn’t be more pleased. Their work is exceptional. They have a phenomenal work ethic and the results are breathtaking. I’ve been in the retail end of landscaping and I’ve never worked with a company that I would recommend as highly as I do this one. If you are in need of landscaping, look no further, these guys work magic!

So happy we chose Sunscapes! We had so many ideals. The guy named Josh took the best of them and put it into his computer and showed us what would work and what wouldn't. We were able to see what our backyard was going to look like. As well make simple changes. We loved the way he sat down with us and turned out ideas into a reality on his laptop. By far the smoothest project we have done to our home.

This past July I contacted Josh for an estimate on some much needed landscaping for my yard. He came out a couple of days later to take a look at my property. He promptly wrote up an estimate for the work to be done. He and his crew began the work in a more than timely fashion. I’m more than pleased with the job they did and would highly recommend them for your landscaping needs.

Josh and his crew just left, having provided me with a beautiful solution to an extremely steep side yard. It took 4 guys 1 week. Josh stated he generally works bigger jobs. We talked, he knew immediately what I wanted and what would work. He designed a gravel walkway with boulder reinforcement, river rocks drainage and mulch. We discussed a few mods, agreed on the funding, he provided drawings, anticipated video of the finished product, detailed contract and he got started. Very personable, intuitive, creative and informative throughout. Thanks very much.

Josh and his crew did a phenomenal job replacing our pavers and trench drains around our pool. The new pavers were of a much higher quality than the old ones. Josh created a beautiful pattern with a spectacular contrasting border. They were prompt, reliable and completed the job as scheduled.

They say pictures are worth a thousand words” and “seeing is believing” so I share these pictures for you to see for yourself the amazing work that the Josh the owner and the entire crew at Sunscape Land works created for our wedding venue Denali Jean located in Pungo Virginia. From start to finish they didn’t skip a beat. Josh listened and heard what we desired and himself and his crew created the most beautiful work for our wedding venue. Josh and his crew's attention to details was something you seldom see these days. We are going into our fourth wedding season and Josh has been with us for the last 3 years. The patio was done originally by another company but we had to replace it entirely due to it not being properly graded, to no fault of the previous company, but it was during Covid and we were trying provide patio space for weddings and rushed to get it in before the building was finished. Josh and the crew took this project head on starting in January, and this year was one of the coldest season it’s been in VB but it didn’t stop them from arriving everyday in brutal conditions, pulling, replacing, grading every single tile on this 5000' sq space to complete this project on schedule, before our first event in March. I can go on and on about Sunscape but as I said in the beginning of this review the pictures by far say it all. We have a few more projects idea and you can be sure Josh and his crew Ethan, Nate, Thomas and Matt will be are go to for these projects.

After countless efforts to find a custom Landscape service company that actually delivers what is promised, Josh & his crew gave me a new sense of peace knowing that companies like his still exist w/ a boss that truly cares. Josh has never failed to deliver exactly what is promised & more, which makes it so easy to recommend him to everyone that I know.

This company is one of the “good guys” in their business. Responsible, reliable, efficient and excellent communication. Never a “no show”, when they say they will be there they show up on time. They built a screened in porch and an outdoor kitchen with pavers and drainage control in my backyard and we could not be happier with the end result. I highly recommend them and when I need anything in the future they are my first call.

Larry and Josh have been taking care of our property for several years now. When we purchased our home we had zero landscaping in our backyard and not a lot to work with in the front. Josh designed the backyard landscape, including a drainage system and helped us find an irrigation company to install sprinklers and a watering system with a well. Our backyard is amazing. Then he helped us with the front yard complete with outdoor lighting. He took our curb appeal from meh to WOW! To say that Josh has a talent for this work is an understatement. It’s a gift. He truly knows what he is doing. There’s not enough “stars” on here to give him! He works hard and always comes through with the best possible outcome. Our yard is stunning! 🤩

Josh and team are the Best! Professional in person, in business, and most importantly the craftsmanship. We had retainer walls put into place and also some artificial turf put down this last year. The work was done with a high level of attention to detail as well keeping in communication on the scheduling/completion of the project(s). We had some unique situations with the retainer walls and they worked well with the other contractor to find a solution that worked in conjunction with our goal. We're very pleased with their work and priced reasonably. Highly rated and recommend!

We needed hardscape help for a total backyard makeover. We interviewed several companies and asked for a design and price quote from each. Josh listened to what we thought we wanted, asked clarifying questions and put together a video representation of his ideas along with the pricing. We were blown away! We went with Josh and his team and they executed beautifully. When we made changes in the middle of execution, Josh handled it like a true professional and made the adjustments willingly, and at the least possible additional cost. We were so pleased with Josh’s ideas that we added additional enhancements at his recommendation. When the extensive job was complete, we could not believe how perfectly it turned out. Josh and team worked with our other vendors to give us a life-changing backyard oasis! Our friends and family are amazed at the results! Sunscape Landworks were worth every penny!
