We found out about Salvation Home Services through the Bradford White Water Heater web page. When it came time to install, Ernesto and his partner did a great job with water heater. The day of install, there was a mix up with the model number we wanted vs the model number they brought but they were able to get the right one to us that same day and install it.

Definitely would recommend him to everyone + his prices are very fair.

Bottom Line: This is the first time we have used this company, and they did excellent work for a reasonable price, and more importantly, built a huge amount of trust with the customer. Communication: Scheduling the estimate was easy and good communication continued throughout the process. Quality of Work: Our 20-year-old water heater was showing signs of rusting, and we wanted to replace it with the Rinnai RUR-199IN gas tankless system. Our technician Ernesto was very informed and was able to confirm the pros and cons of this system vice other tankless systems as well as new tank systems. He meticulously explained the details of the project, particularly where the venting would run, which is very important for my piece of mind. I like to understand exactly what is being done to my house, and Ernesto did not shy away from it as other contractors tend to do. The work was done in a timely manner, professionally, and according to County code. But this is when the real work began. Several weeks after the project was complete, Washington Gas announced a $400 rebate for this system. However, the process to complete this was a tedious nightmare and the contractor was the only one who could complete it. Salvation Home Services did not even think twice about it and spent considerable time working this process until we received the rebate. They had NOTHING to gain from helping us as their project was complete and paid for. How many other companies would do this?!? That’s building trust. Pricing: Price was the best of three highly ranked Angie’s List companies providing estimates. The project manager's obvious expertise, willingness to explain the details of the project, timely communications, and excellent work took the hassle out of this project, and their willingness to tackle the rebate was clearly over and beyond expectations.

Salvation HVAC saved me from getting scammed by another company. Their workers were honest and saw what my problem was immediately when checking my HVAC system. There was just a missing cap on my drainage system! The other company said that I needed to replace my whole system! Salvation saved me 10s of thousands of dollars. They were truly my salvation!!!

They communicated well and were professional, showed up on time. Also, they were knowledgeable and actually saved me money over another professional who wanted to do an expensive unneeded repair. They showed up as promised and did great work on the installation, they put down covers to protect the floors and cleaned everything after. The next day when I had a problem, Ernesto sent two people over to help fix it. Super highly recommended, I will contact them for future HVAC service.

This was our second time using Salvation Home Services and the experience was as fantastic as the first time. This time it was actually an emergency and Ernesto was literally at our house 30 mins after my call to inspect and fix a gas leak. Salvation home Service installed my tank-less gas water system. Of all contractors I contacted Ernesto was the most professional and informative. His work was outstanding! and for a better price than others. Six months later i thought I had a problem with the system and Ernesto promptly came out to check the system and showed me it was working properly.

When I needed a new furnace/AC I researched the subject to learn more about what is available. I then contacted several sellers to get price information. Ernesto at Salvation offered the best price on a good quality unit, as well as prompt installation. He and his crew showed up at the designated time and worked hard in a fairly compact basement space to remove the old unit and install the new one. They were extremely focused, professional and polite. They hauled away every speck of debris and left the work area neat and clean. Finally, instead of rushing off after a long day’s work, Ernesto took the time to explain the unit’s features and operation to me, answering all my questions. That was a year or two ago. Some months after that I needed a new water heater and again Ernesto gave a good price for a good unit and did a stellar installation. Yesterday I called him because the furnace seemed to be cycling strangely and underperforming. He came as promised today (Saturday) to examine the unit and then show me I had done two things wrong (covered thermostat with hanging coats and blocked off a number of vents) which caused the system to switch into a protective reduced performance mode. We undid my goofs and sure enough, system returned to performing perfectly. When I asked Ernesto how much I owed him for this service call, he said I owed him nothing— he likes to keep his customers happy. In summary, I am extremely pleased with Ernesto and his company. They are old school honest, diligent and a pleasure to engage with.

Ernesto and team were responsive and professional throughout the process of a new heat pump hot water heater installation. They were notably better to work with (and more reasonably priced) than FH Furr. They offered and explained options during the sales process. Installation was extremely efficient, including doing some electrical work. Ernesto runs a good team-we will be repeat customers.

Ernesto and Salvation replaced our old standard water heater with a gas tankless and he couldn’t have done a better job. We hired him again to replace our water shutoff as well and his team is professional, quick and very affordable. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Ernesto and his team help fix our tankless heater & boiler issue. They do not charge extra for following up diagnosis and pricing were fair. They also explain problems clearly and were thorough in any suggestion and recommendation. They were also honest that our current setup is not ideal and they wouldn't use this setup if they were us---we agree.
