Electrical reviews in Williamsburg, Virginia

They made us a priority and came out the following day. Michael went above and beyond to help us get the range back in and level it. We highly recommend Basford Electric!

Michael with Basford Electric did a great job and fixing my ceiling fan. Efficient and resourceful work. Highly recommend

I am very happy with the work Basford electric did installing our ceiling lights. The electrician was efficient, did exactly what we asked for, and cleaned everything up. Very affordable. I would highly recommend!

Basford Electric did a great job installing a generator hook-up and a new circuit in our circuit panel -- fast service, cleaned up afterwards and answered all questions thoroughly and clearly. Absolutely would use again in the future.

Basford electric is definitely the electrical service to choose in the area! We have used this service twice since recently moving to the Williamsburg area and we couldn’t be happier with Micheal and his team. They are beyond courteous and have the experience to get the job done. I will continue to use Basford Electric in the future!

LOOK NO FURTHER!!!

I live 3 hours away from my elderly parents. I called around to find a decent electrician. Michael was extremely cordial and easy to talk to. He made time at the end of a long day to go out to my parents house. Through it all he was respectful and kind. Michael was also thorough and detailed in his answers and did not mind me calling back with follow up questions. He was more than fair with his estimate compared to other electricians.

You can always tell if you are dealing with a reputable company and good person when things dont go exactly as planned (through no fault of that company or person), but they still go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. Also, trust is a big thing for me. They will not charge you for work that does NOT need to be done!

Do not hesitate with having Michael take care of all your important electrical needs. I could not have asked for a better experience! I would DEFINITELY call them again!

Mr. Basford knows what he is doing. He is very knowledgeable and ran new wire to relocate a light, put together the new light (chandelier) and installed it in the ceiling over a stairwell. He had all the tools and supplies for the job. We will definitely call him for the next project. Outstanding work!

Basford Electric did a terrific job upgrading the lighting in our basement. They also installed a new 20-amp circuit for new outlets around the recently installed bar. They are very reasonably priced, very fast, clean, and the final product is terrific.

Highly recommend Michael Basford and Basford Electric. Wish that all contractors were as easy to work with. Large master suite and kitchen remodel. Basford worked with and around other contractors to ensure the project was flawless. Prompt, flexible and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better electrician!

Michael was extremely courteous and professional through the whole process of our recent install of an outlet in our crawl space for a dehumidifier. The price was fair and as quoted. He made quick work of the job at hand. Highly recommend Basford Electric. We will definitely reach out to him in the future for work and will recommend him to anyone in need of a great electrician. He was also courteous enough to take the time to explain the transfer switch that came with our recent home purchase for our generator hookup.

Michael has done work at my home multiple times. Most recent was installing a new level 2 charge at my home. Ran all new line with in the walls and made it look very neat and clean. I will continue to use and recommend Basford Electric. Great job!
