We recently hired Delightful Gardens to complete a major renovation of our back and side yards. We are extremely pleased with their work. The project included several different aspects, including installation of pavers, resodding a large portion of our lawn, and installation of new plants and tree uplighting. Each step was completed professionally. We added an additional aspect to the original project and that was also completed within the original timeframe. We recommend them highly.

Ryan- I now have a gorgeous yard! Your landscape design was spot on with the effect I wanted.The very pleasant gentleman who removed my deer destroyed azaleas etc., did an outstanding job planting and mulching.. And, since planting the shade tolerant and deer resistant plants I am very pleased to report that even though the beds were full of deer hoof prints, not a plant was touched! Yay! Thank you for you and your colleagues exceptional work ( and I might add, at a very reasonable price!)

I have worked with Don Newsome for my planting/design/hardscape needs for more than 15 years. His expertise in what plants will do well in what locations is impressive, and his training in that subject matter at Virginia Tech is very evident. He also has a great eye for design. All the projects his company has done for me turned out beautifully and have held up well over the years. Also, he stood by his guarantee on a tree I purchased from him that had died. I would absolutely do business with his company again.

Working with the folks from Delightful Gardens has been a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. Matthew is a very thoughtful and precise carpenter and Juan is very knowledgeable about all aspects of proper plant location and maintenance. I have already recommended DG to my neighbors and look forward to working with them again.

Delightful gardens provided one of the very best contractor experiences we have had in the last decade. They cleared a large area, put in a French drain, planted the area and removed a concrete structure and several extremely large bushes. They showed up on time, did an amazing job of clearing and planting, took measures to prevent the equipment from tearing up the yard, and cleaned up all of the debris. Ryan, Matthew, Juan and Stephen were professional and extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely use them again
