Loved working with owner Chris Phelps and his crew to trim up trees in my yard and 10
Neighbors! Professional, organized with very reasonable rates. Highly recommend his services!

Highly recommend! Very knowledgeable and are a pleasure to do business with. They are very contentious and dependable. Would not even think about calling anyone but Chris for any tree issues!

We had Paramount Tree Services come out and remove 6 trees from our property. The whole process was flawless. The team is highly professional and left our property better than when they started.

Chris was very knowledgeable about the trees we wanted to prune down to how to keep the tree in the best health. Chris and his crew did a superb job with removing and pruning the trees on our property. They went above and beyond. They cleared all the leaves after removing the tree and pruning. I would highly recommend using them for any of your tree needs.

Chris is the Owner and A Real Arborist. He is certified by International Society of Arboriculture and a graduate of the American Society of Consulting Arborist’s Academy.

We had two oak trees that were in poor health. Chris explained the health of the tree and possible mitigation tactics to try and save the trees. My wife and I chose removal as we were very nervous about the serious damage caused by the trees failing.

Chris and his team were flawless in removal. They have state of the art equipment and highly trained individuals working with him. His staff has remained with him for many years.

I recommend waiting for Chris and giving him a chance. The experience was great. The information provided was invaluable. The personalities are high class and genuine.

Chris thank you and your team!

In multiple projects over multiple years, Paramount has become my go-to tree and landscape company. In my work, Chris is the first person I call for large and small projects in Virginia and now North Carolina. I depend on him for solid, scientific advice and he’s come through every time for years.

They came twice to my house; once for limb removal on multiple trees and then to remove an entire tree. The first time they did an excellent job as well as clean up - there was no evidence they had even been there except for the missing limbs! The second time for the tree removal was more complicated due to the location of the tree. Once again, no evidence of them having been there upon completion! Throughout both trips, they were friendly, professional and especially knowledgeable in all aspects of the jobs! I was especially impressed with the tree removal, considering it's location! Chris and Graham and the rest of the team are great to deal with and I highly recommend them for any job!

I have used Paramount Tree Services numerous times for tree work. I have found their crew to be respectful, punctual and professional. I would recommend them for any tree work.

Chris and his team did a fantastic job removing a dead pine tree in our front yard. It was a danger to our house as well as those driving by on the main road. It was quickly removed and its original location perfectly landscaped.

I can't speak highly enough of Chris and Crew with Paramount. I had a largish very sick and hollow red oak leaning and curving up over power lines and neighbor's driveway. Chris' estimate to remove it was very reasonable; he coordinated with Dominion Energy to have mine and neighbor's service entrance lines dropped so they could work safely; tree was down in a few hours and power restored before 2pm. And Chris called to follow up, make sure power was back and all was well. My search for a local professional tree removal service is over. Call Chris; he will answer or call you back asap (not text).

Paramount brings both skill, workmanship, safety and in-depth knowledge of trees and related diseases to the Williamsburg marketplace.

Chris has received extensive formal education of trees (correct care, pruning and trimming methods, disease management, etc.). Additionally, Chris is very safety conscience with a talented crew (with many years of experience) and the appropriate use of equipment to ensure limited property damage for a job well done.

Support local businesses! Chris is knowledgeable with numerous industry certifications and over 17 years of experience, professional and personable, utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and puts safety at the forefront of any job. Chris truly values his customers, employees, and the community he serves. For any of your tree service needs, residential or commercial, I recommend Paramount Tree Services!

Chris Phelps and his crew did a phenomenal job--again--with our trees. This is the third time he's helped us and I always appreciate the care and attention, especially since Chris is a certified arborist as are members of his team. They came back to do a few extra things after we talked by phone and made sure we were happy with everything. His crew was courteous and cleaned up everything and I highly recommend them to anyone in Williamsburg, VA and the surrounding areas.

We used their services to have a tree that had broken during a storm removed. Chris was so helpful and ended up assessing other trees on our property as well. Once they came out we had an additional tree removed that was impeding growth of others. They were efficient, professional, and so easy to work with. Totally recommend them!

Exceptional company! I can't say enough about Chris (owner), Jose, Graham, and the entire Paramount crew. Chris took his time to explain options and answer our questions. Chris and his crew are professional in every way including the machinery used, PPE, safety briefing, uniforms, etc. They communicated well with us and each other. They actually seemed to enjoy the work. Refreshing to experience and a pleasure to watch.

We had a ginormous Red Oak come down in our backyard, taking part of our fence, a very large Beech, and many smaller trees (even though still large to us) with it..Chris came out the day we called him and we had his very reasonable quote that same day.

From the time the crew entered our property , they were respectful of us (the clients) and our property. They worked two full days. Honestly the crew left the property in better shape than before the tree fell! They cleaned up not only the work area but the driveway, the roadway, the patio, etc.

We HIGHLY recommend Paramount and will use them for any future tree work.

we Have used Paramount Tree Services for years and could not be more satisfied, with service, knowledge and price. Chris has built a First Class operations that home owners and businesses can be assured it will be done right, on time, and very reasonable in costs.
