Constraction reviews in Yorktown, Virginia

Jay's is great. Friendly, professional, and they always do a great job. Have used them several times and will continue to do so.

Jay's Painting of Yorktown, VA has painted the exterior windows, trim and doors on our home twice in the past ten years. We are return customers of Jay's Painting. Our 2021 project included power washing the home exterior, painting the trim, over 25 windows, two doors, the front porch, two box bay windows. Jay's Painting wrote an exceptionally detailed proposal which clearly stated the project details for the quoted price. Jay set expectations once we accepted the proposal as to schedule and the work process. Jay's crew discovered additional rotten wood trim, two rotted windows and some brick issues. Jay's Painting prepared a written estimate for the newly discovered rotted wood trim which was then repaired. I highly recommend Jay's Painting for a thorough quality job at a reasonable price. It is a pleasure to work with contractors who communicate, show up on time, tell you what the work is for the next day, inform you if there are issues which need to be addressed and are professional at every turn. We look forward to using Jay's Painting for future painting projects.

Job well done! Professional, courteous service within our budget. I highly recommend Jay's Painting and Pressure Cleaning!

Great working with Jay's! This small, local business was very easy to work with, completely thorough, and kept me in the loop all through the process of painting our house. They worked fast, clean and quiet, no loud music or loud crews. I would use them again without hesitation for a future painting project.

The Jay’s Painting team provides outstanding service. Their customer service and work is excellent. Jay extended his knowledge and offered cost efficient solutions. They completed the work as scheduled and ensured we were happy with the finished product. I highly recommend Jay’s Painting.

Everyone we interacted with from Jay's Painting and Pressure Cleaning, Inc. was wonderful to work with. They did a fantastic job! They are the best painters and pressure washers we've ever had. They really care about what they do and it shows. They are professional, kind, efficient and very tidy.

Jay and his team just finished painting our 25 yr old white kitchen cabinets. Original condition was a mess of years of soft and peeling paint build up. They did an excellent job. Best quality of workmanship I have ever seen. Their attention to detail and thoroughness gave us the look of brand new cabinets. Professional from start to finish. We have used their services for exterior painting and now inside. They are absolutely the best.

We have used Jay's several times and have never been disappointed or less than 100% happy with the results. They are not the least expensive, but they do very high quality work and and extremely thorough. They pay very close attention to detail, and leave your property at least as clean as when they arrive. All of their team are pleasant and courteous. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Jay's did a phenomenal job with paint preparation and application! We were very, very impressed by the superb rot repairs they did on our wood trim. The overall quality of their workmanship was impressive. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We just can’t quit Jay’s Painting. We first had this company paint our garage about four years ago. Following that a guest bath, accent wall, and deck. We’ve also used their pressure cleaning service in the spring to rid the exterior of pollen. Recently, we bought another home and Jay’s did our garage interior as well as the home’s entire interior. All work has been done on time or earlier and within budget.

This is a family company so you know the crew who is going to do the work. They’re excellent painters who each has their own strength and work well together. They are easy to get in touch with, communicate throughout, and all work is given a written contract with precise itemization so there are no surprises. We could not be happier with their performance. Now that they’ve finished and left our home completely in order we will actually miss having them around. Not to worry though as there will be exterior work in our future and we’ll be calling Jay’s Painting.

Your painter matters! Jay's Painting and Pressure Cleaning has successfully completed multiple interior and exterior projects over the years on two of my homes. A family owned business offering you the assurance of honest and reliable service. Very professional! Go ahead and add your project to their wait list... yes, worth the wait because they are the best.

We had an upstairs plumbing leak which resulted in a hole in our downstairs ceiling. Matt with Jay’s Painting seamlessly patched and painted this hole, color matching the paint so that it is impossible to see where the patch occurred. He was very professional and tidy in the process. We use Jay’s Painting for all our painting needs.

We have been using Jay's for many years now. Both for painting and pressure washing. We have had excellent experience every time. We always get 3 quotes for any contract work but not when it comes to painting or pressure washing. We recommend Jay's to all our family, friends and neighbors.

Jay's Painting completed jobs for my father prior to his passing, so when I needed work done, I reached out to them. They stained the underpinning of my new sun porch, painted my front porch railings, and secured and touched up my front shutters whose screws had popped out due to warping. I WILL use them for all future projects. They are very professional, kind, and do fabulous work!

I have contracted with Jay's Painting and Pressure Cleaning, Inc. three times for pressure washing my house. Jay's crew hit it out of the park all three times. I have Jay's on my yearly schedule for house pressure cleaning. I highly recommend Jay's for your pressure cleaning needs.

Jay's painting did a great job with pressure washing, repairing wood rot and painting the exterior of the house. Both Jay and Matthew did a great job of explaining everything they were addressing and and the finish looks great. Both friendly and professional and I highly recommend their services.

Jay and his team consistently do a great job across the board. Definitely a 5-star team. They have completed numerous jobs (e.g., exterior painting, pressure washing, and some rotten wood replacement) for me throughout the years and they are always professional, prompt, reliable, and excellent in the quality of work they provide. Recently I had to get my house power washed and after coordination, they completed the job in a timely and excellent manner. I recommend Jay's Painting and Pressure Cleaning without hesitation.

overall great experience working with Hammack's Hardscape.. Weather didn't help but job was completed perfectly..

Bill and his team did an amazing job. Very professional and timely completion of work.

Hands down a great man to work with!

I’ve had work done by Bill over the years before he started his own company. He’s always been professional, reliable and trustworthy, and his work is amazing! He really puts his all into his work. Years later, I’m happy with every job he’s ever done for me and look forward to hiring him when I have another project that requires concrete work or pavers!
