Constraction reviews in Yorktown, Virginia

Glen and his guys aren't nothing but the best. I would highly recommed them . On time, spectacular job there really aren't words that would do this company proper justice..

Excellent and reliable work! Glen answered all of my questions and did a fabulous job! I hope we don’t have other drywall issues but if we do, York Poquosin Drywall would be the first company I call!!! Thanks you!!!

Excellent job very professional very courteous would definitely use them again

Outstanding experience. Mark and Glen took my call/dry wall issue on short notice. The next day my wall was a good as new. Actually looked better than the original. Thank you so much.

If I could give more stars I would. Glenn was very responsive and showed up on time. I have never seen another company swiffer the areas they worked and even walked after the job was done. To me that shows the pride they have in their work and their exceptional customer service.

I was in a hurry to get drywall repairs done, they came out and started work the next day. I asked if they could start at 6:00 am, they where at my house ringing door bell at that time, even on Saturday morning because I was getting new carpet installed at 7:00 am. Very clean and awesome guys to work with. I would highly recommend them for your drywall repairs.

Nothing but good things to say about Yorktown Poquoson Drywall. On time and excellent work. Mark was very professional, explained everything he was doing and swiffered behind himself as he was leaving. Highly recommend!!

I have called on Yorktown/ Poquoson drywall numerous times over the past 10 years. They have installed and finished new drywall and made repairs to existing drywall. I called 2 local drywall distributors and asked who does good drywall work at fair prices. The employees at both distributors personally vouched for Glenn Newberry owner of Yorktown/ Poquoson drywall. The best contractor I have used in my 25 years of a homeowner. He is professional, fair, does great work and is on time.

I googled drywall repair companies in my area and Yorktown Poquoson Drywall Inc was the first to be listed. I reached out to them and the owner instantly responded. recently converted my formal dining room to an office and did the framing and hung the sheetrock myself. I was not confident in my ability to complete the mud process, hence me reaching out for help. I took some pictures and video of the mud work I needed help with and they provided a quote within an hour. My initial impression was that the quote was fair but I wanted to get two additional quotes from different companies to make sure. Not only was the quote good, it was great! One of the competing companies told me "you get what you pay for", which I'm a believer in, but the Google reviews were all 5s so I decided to proceed with Yorktown Poquoson Drywall. Boy am I glad I did! Mark (mud specialist) arrived early on the day of my appointment and was nothing short of impressive. He was professional, kept my home clean, was happy to converse with me, and blew me away with his skillset. Mudding is no doubt an art and it was obvious Mark was an artist. He made all of my work integrate seamlessly with my existing walls. I could not be more happy with the finished product.

If you're looking for sheetrock help in the Hampton Roads area, use Yorktown Poquoson Drywall Inc, you wont be disappointed!

From quote to completion they were 5 star. Wonderful to work with, priced fairly! Don’t hesitate to call them for all your drywall needs.

I recently hired Yorktown Poquoson Drywall to install and finish the drywall in my detached garage. This garage had several items which added complexity to the job including high ceilings, multiple recessed lights, and installed overhead garage door brackets. In a matter of a few days, the entire job was completed and ready for primer and paint. I was EXTREMELY pleased with the final product! I give this company my HIGHEST recommendation. Communication, timeliness, price, and professionalism were top-notch! Thank you!

Very pleased with the work Poquoson Dywall did at my mother’s house. Glen and his team are professional and their work is top quality. I will definitely have them do any drywall work for me in the future and gladly recommend them 100%.

Words cannot explain how thankful I am to have come across these gentlemen! From their initial willingness to help replace a hole in our ceiling (that I created from falling through - hahaha) to their quick turnaround service, nothing was short of a wonderful experience.

Very informative, thorough, and professional from start to finish. I would highly recommend Glen and his crew for any work that needs to be done within their scope of service. As a customer, you can expect them to be punctual with a superb end result guaranteed to meet every expectation.

Mark did a wonderful job patching up my drywall ceiling. Fast efficient and high quality work at a reasonable price. Very impressed.

The guys showed up right on time this morning, got right to work, and fixed the hole that has been in my ceiling for two months! They were very professional, and cleaned up behind themselves, which I truly appreciate! I would definitely use them again for any type of drywall repair.

Started out promising. I contacted them via email and got a quick response. Then I called, explained the job I was wanting to have done/get a quote for. We set up a date and time and all was good. He came out, we talked and he said he would send me a couple different quotes and I should see it hit my inbox later that day. Cool. Well it's 2 days later and I have reached out once per day via email with no response.
Oh well I guess. On to the next.

Yorktown Poquoson Drywall Inc was hired by my builder to do the drywall on a new sunroom and do repairs to the textured ceiling where cuts were made to run ventilation tubes as well as electrical cables for recessed lighting. The new room is perfect! Two half round windows were installed without wood trim and the mud work is flawless. The repairs to the textured ceiling in the adjacent rooms are imperceptible. The team was very considerate of the house and kept dust down to a minimum. I would give 6 stars if it was possible!

Quickly got a quote and they came out within a week and did the work! Work looks fantastic and they were in and out before I knew it. The gentlemen working were also very nice. I will definitely be using them again when I need drywall work!

I hired Yorktown Poquoson Drywall for some drywall seaming in a closet and matching texture the texture. They showed up on time and were friendly and courteous. They did a great job!

Professional. Punctual. Detailed and skilled at the craft. The entire team are hard working, straightforward, and kind. They cared about my project and worked with my timeline. Mark and Keith are craftsmen. They will be welcomed back if needed.

Glenn and his gang put up and finished all walls in my second story addition to an old rancher. The quality of the job was outstanding and the hangers and Stewart, the finisher, have not complained about some irregularities that come while working on not exactly a new construction. Also happy with the pricing although it got so much more expensive since the last time I was in position to hire a drywall company for a new construction in 2005!
Heartily recommend the Yorktown Drywall Inc. to anybody who’s faced with lots of studs to be covered. Thanks Glenn
