Their lawn mower Lewis hit me in the back with a sharp piece of wood.no warning he was gonna drive behind us nothing. Me and my son and one other lady sat together in portwarwick pavilion in the same area the rest was empty and he still chose to drive behind us first before we had a chance to move or anything

Their work at Port Warwick in Newport News is horrible. My yard was a weed patch all summer. Finally this fall they aerated with a machine that was too large to get into most of the yard so less than 1/2 the yard was aerated. I had to hand aerate everywhere they missed. Then their sloppy seeding spread seed into flowerbeds and sidewalks. They used uncoated seeds and had to return with coated seeds per the contract. Now that the grass seed is sprouting, they’re walking all over new seedlings to prune and rake up the clippings. Pruning should have been done before aerating or seeding. It appears there are no trained professionals managing or working on this contract.

I called several companies for stumpgrinding quotes and Justin was the only person to reply fast and to come out the same day to the house.
Other companies never even responded back to me!
So I appreciated it very much that Justin came out and he did a very good job getting rid of the stump. He put up a barrier so the mulch would not fly around. He is very proffesional and efficient. Would highly recommend him!

Had 7 stumps removed in quick fashion. They look great gone. Use his services if you want someone who is careful and takes pride in the job! Will be calling again when I take more trees down.

Justin “The Stump Guy” did a fantastic job grinding up the large and plentiful remains of a crepe myrtle tree that towered over my house five years ago. The company I hired at that time to grind up the trunk and roots after the tree was taken down did a terrible job. After fighting crepe myrtle shoots for years, I hired Justin to ‘fix the problem.’ He did amazing work. His work was thorough. He set up a screen around the project to keep root pieces from flying around as he ground the tree. His cleanup was great. I highly recommend The Stump Guy.

Fantastic work and a good dude. He took out huge stump that was about a level above grade as it relates to my side of the house versus my neighbors and he did exactly what we him to do and more. We had a serious root system made of very large and small roots along with a rocks, go figure, but his skill, knowledge and handling that of his machine did the job. He also ensure the place cleaned up. Five star all the way.

Justin did such an exceptional job on our stump. He got all of the roots that stemmed from the main stump. He left the area nice and flat. He even picked out some of the larger pieces of the ground stump that were left. He was prompt,friendly and professional. If you need a stump removed you wont regret hiring him. A++
