Everything about this company is top notch.
I’ve had 4 trees removed over the years by various companies. Nelson’s exceeded expectations.
I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
From the initial quote (the next day after I sent the request) to the reasonable price, to communication, arriving early so they started the job exactly on time, to cleanup.

Price was fair and the results were exactly what we were hoping for! We had a tree near our kids side of the house and everytime we would get a big wind storm we would hear the tree when it would move in the wind. We did not want to risk it! It doesn't take much for them to fall, especially with us being in a wetlands area, definitely worth the price for the peace of mind. Nate was friendly and professional, he was going above amd beyond to make sure we got exactly what we asked for and we have already given his number out to some people, good workmanship speaks for itself, this company is worth trying out! It's difficult for me to hire someone to do a job that I could do myself, but this job was too dangerous for me to do. A hemlock that grew out of the top of a stump, was leaning towards my powerlines and would probably fall the next windstorm, had to come down. I'm so glad I hired Nelson's Tree Service. Not only did they remove the tree and cleaned up the branches, at a fair price, But they also kept my grandkids entertained (from a distance).

I hired Nate and his crew to come out and clear ivy from 8 large trees all over 100 feet tall. The ivy had been growing unchecked for over 30 years. It took all day. The bill was reasonable, and they really earned their money! It looks great! No more ivy or dead branches. The ivy was so well established that it stuck out from each tree at least 6 feet on each side. Now we get more light and the trees are happier.
I'd recommend them for tree care and ivy removal. We are going to have them back out to remove a tree that is leaning and threatening the neighbor's house.

Who even answers their phone nowadays? Nate from Nelson’s Tree Service does at 11pm at night in the middle of a cyclone wind storm. Despite spotty cell service he texted he’d be at my house at sunrise to clear the trees that fell across my drive and street blocking not only me but all my neighbors in our cul-de-sac. Nelson Tree Service is responsive and courteous, leaving the work space impeccably clean with reasonable rates. Highly recommend!

They are the best they cut my tree down then I realized I need stump removal or stump grinding. There’s another company called J&J stump grinding, and I thought they could do the job but they couldn’t fit the machine through the side of my house so I called Nelson’s tree company And they figured out a way to get it back there and they grinding my stump. Very good the other company didn’t even try. I recommend Nelsons tree service. They do everything and when there’s no way of doing it, they find a way they took my gate apart so they could get the stump grinder no other company did that they’re the best
