Great experience working with Craftsman. They have an excellent working relationship with local subcontractors. Staff are all responsive and knowledgeable. Quality of work is fantastic. Wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

Although we only engaged Bainbridge Island Pest Control & Dryer Vent Cleaning Services, WA to do a few tasks, their list of services included everything we need, including attic insulation, duct and dryer vent cleaning, roofing, fireplace maintenance, and pest control. Their sweep restored the chimney to its original condition after years of neglect. The insect problem has been resolved, and our house feels cozier and more functional. During the appointment, their technician even discovered a little roof leak and fixed it. Everyone was on time, kind, and professional. We are quite pleased with the outcome.

My encounter with Dryer Vent Service was outstanding. Vincent came to our Bainbridge Island property and gave us excellent service. In addition to cleaning our dryer vent, he thoroughly inspected our chimney. He looked at a roof problem we had been ignoring and discussed the advantages of improving the insulation in our attic. Everything was completed quickly and fairly. I'm happy that Bainbridge Island offered a one-stop shop. Vincent is polite, knowledgeable, and someone I would absolutely trust again.

The Bainbridge Roller Hockey League asked Cogwheel to take on the atypical job of replacing a failing rink board at the Battle Point Park rink. They got it done quickly and did a great job! Very happy with the result.

I'm not sure how my parents, who are in their upper 70's, found Brandon - but what I can tell you is he's a diamond in the rough! A contractor who is on time, on budget, listens, hard working AND does good work?!? What?! Are you kidding?! This guy is an amazing contractor AND is a nice person and respectful to the older generation! To top it all off, at the end of it, he handed my parents an operations manual with of all the work, finishes, appliances, warranty info, mechanical/electrical info, contact lists, etc. Oh and did I mention he was ON time and ON budget?! I have never required a GC in my life. Honestly, the undertaking was more than I believed I could handle. It became a Tenant Improvement Major and I had no idea how to navigate through permits, what to buy and do. Thankfully, we met Brandon and hired him. He listened to the vision, spoke with the architect, understood the finances and basically took care of everything. He was on time, had great communication, sent pictures of progress and potential pitfalls. He gave us pricing options, frequently communicated with the fire marshall, and city officials to get the permits. And in the end, he was UNDER budget (when does that happen?!) . Our business project was on time, cost less, and looked better than I could imagine. What else can I say , except , that Cogwheel Construction was a blessing and just plain awesome.

Cogwheel did a great job on our bathroom remodel. They have solid network with with all the specialties, such as electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, plumbing, tile work. Very professional and easy to work with. Project came in on time within the budget.

Our first encounter with him was the estimate which he did while the renters were in the home. He right away developed a professional relationship with them.This allowed our project to start on time. His estimate was detailed so we could rely on the costs. We had every confidence in him because he is very transparent.
SUBCONTRACTORS: Brandon has a respectful and professional relationship with the subcontractors which allowed our project to come on time even though there were issues.
PROBLEM SOLVING: Problems that came up were solved in a respectful manner because he listens well to concerns. He has the LEADERSHIP skills to bring multiple parties together and keep them on task while completing steps to keep the project on schedule.
His RELATIONSHIP with us the owners, was extraordinarily RESPECTFUL and he kept things TRANSPARENT.
Brandon's LEADERSHIP skills were evident when he kept all parties coordinated. One issue needed HOA approval and reimbursement, he accomplished that in a timely manner.
Brandon's COMMUNICATION skills, as well as LISTENING skills contributed to an on time and on budget project.
I was always given 3 choices after he listened to my request.
My husband and I are very pleased with the outcome of this project. It was dealt with in a PROFESSIONAL way.

We live in Illinois but have a cabin on Bainbridge Island that needed some work. We wanted the work done in July and August while we were here. Our son lives in Shoreline, and the only time he could meet at the cabin with Brandon was at 5pm on a Saturday in May. He and Brandon discussed what we wanted done, and Brandon came up with improvements that we hadn’t thought of. Brandon then worked up an estimate and sent it to us in Illinois. We spent considerable time on the phone with Brandon going over the items on the estimate. When we got to Bainbridge Island, the work started on time and was finished in a timely manner. Brandon, Eric, the painters, carpenters, electricians and plumbers did an excellent job. They repurposed materials and added some jobs that we discovered needed to be done as we walked around the cabin. We’ve been very happy with Cogwheel Construction and would highly recommend them.

We had a leak in our leaving room that started with a “snail trail” & resulted in the plumbers having to cut several sections out of our boxed ceiling till they found the source. We were nervous about the ceiling ever looking the same once the Plummer’s were done. Brandon showed up with his crew & assured us that when they were done nobody would ever know there was damage. His crew was very responsible in making sure the living room furniture, paintings etc were covered and protected while they completed the work. I especially appreciated how Brandon would pop in at the end of the work days to check on the progress. Cogwheel Construction is the most reliable, professional construction company we have ever worked with. I will definitely use them again for further projects and highly recommend them to all friends and family.

Cogwheel was hired to do a partial renovation on an almost 100-year-old home for our company. What started as a kitchen/bathroom/flooring update grew exponentially as we got into the project and Cogwheel managed to expand their scope of work without a pause, all the while keeping us informed of the challenges along the way so that expectations were set reasonably.
