Landscaping reviews in Battle Ground, Washington

Pretty good selection and healthy looking plants. We were in for some potting soil and little pots for seedling. 😀

They have done great work for me. Our entry way was done beautifully. He was able to do exactly what I was looking for within budget and more. My whole family has used him and been VERY happy with his work and personable demeanor!

I moved into a new subdivision in June of 2021 where this company had installed a tree in the curb area which is part of the city property. The tree never looked good from the time it was planted and died. I saw the foreman of the crew at the time and spoke to him about the tree leaning to one side. He agreed and said he would fix it. It looked like it had been fixed but the leaves were dying and you could see the tree wasn't doing well. This spring I noticed the tree wasn't blooming. One morning I saw the same foreman and spoke to him about the tree. He looked at it and told me the tree was dead and that he would speak with the owner. But until now I haven't heard a word from them. I've tried on many occasions to contact this company and left messages but no response. So now I'm left having to purchase a tree because the city is requiring that a tree be planted in the curb area. I would be very leary about this company doing some work for you and if you have any issues. They won't return my calls. I am very dissatisfied with them.

We were introduced to this landscape company through our homebuilder. They did a fine job of installing all of the items that were bundled into the new home purchase. They even went beyond that and have come to the house more than once to help us understand how to use the irrigation system and answer questions about the landscape.

When additional design and installation services were needed, we returned to Green Leaf. Their designer did a great job converting a section of yard into a little Asian garden.

When we need additional landscaping service, we will call on Green Leaf again.

I was tired of having the worst yard in the cul-de-sac they came in. They were fast efficient within two days. I had the best yard in the neighborhood. Very happy and would highly recommend.

Very happy with Eric’s work! Continuum removed our lawn and installed a flagstone patio and path at our place. The craftsmanship was top notch. Eric communicated well and was always prompt with replies to our questions.

As a professional landscape designer, I wholeheartedly recommend Continuum Landscaping. I've worked with Eric for many years and am always impressed with his knowledge, enthusiasm, responsiveness and follow up. We trust him to install our designs and he goes above and beyond to make sure our (and his) clients are happy.

Eric redesigned an existing water feature, he took it from challenging to beautifully, artfully functional. During this process he listened carefully to my input/goals and created a much more natural fountain environment. Eric Bock delivers quality design, materials and craftsmanship to his projects. He is a clear communicator and creative problem solver. It is my pleasure to recommend him to you!

This landscaping company was a pleasure to have working at our home! Eric has great ideas and was so fun to work with. Kept us informed beginning to end. We are so happy with result can’t wait till spring and planning for next year!

Eric is just absolutely wonderful to work with! He really listened to our vision and executed to perfection. His follow up was great when a few plants died. He was right out to replace them very quickly.

I’m so pleased with the work Continuum did on my pond!
It has been a long time since it was clean enough to be inviting to swim in. My family is looking forward to using it again and couldn’t be more grateful for the effort put in by Eric and his crew. The communication was great, they were respectful of my property and family and the only evidence they were here, once the project was completed was the amazing final result. Thanks Continuum!

We had a new build with a large lot which we had landscaped last year. It was supposed to be a Japanese garden. The result was not quite like the provided rendering and after living with it for several months, we decided it was not to our satisfaction. I found Eric Bock through Tualatin Valley Landscape and what a find. He was full of ideas and suggestions, while listening to our wants and needs. The dry creek bed was re-worked, giving it more movement, more and bigger rocks were added for interest, drip lines installed, a bridge added, more plant material added and gravel paths were created. Like a well-oiled machine, Eric and his team delivered. We are thrilled with the results and, with the wetland as our backdrop, our beautiful backyard can only get better as it matures. Our heartfelt thanks to Eric, John, Andre and Eric!!
NOTE: "before" photos show the finished work last year and "after" photos show Eric's work in afternoon light and morning light. Dark hemlock barkdust is coming soon.

I have learned especially on irrigation leaks to text him a narrative video or pics.
Last time he was working on a leak before I could get outside

You can depend on Eric Bock ‘Continuum Landscape’ for your landscape needs

Eric and the team went above and beyond to create a beautiful dry river bed and garden to enhance our front yard. His communication was great. He worked with our ideas and shared his expertise to pull it all together. He also added zones to our irrigation that is working great. We appreciate they met the time commitments, and now we have a beautiful update for our home.

Eric and his crew were great! Eric listened to what we were looking for and made great suggestions. He also does a great job explaining how to take care of what he has planted and is always available for follow up questions. Highly recommend!

We've been very happy with regular maintenance performed by the crew from Nature By Design. They are friendly and courteous; fast and thorough. The yard always looks great when they are finished!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the work done by Nature By Design Landscape, Inc. I’ve lived in my home here in Clark County for many years, and my yard was long overdue for some attention.
Dan and his team truly listened to what I wanted and helped bring new life to my landscape. They installed a beautiful dry creek bed for drainage, updated my irrigation system, laid new sod, and carefully relocated several of my existing plants while adding a few new ones that fit perfectly.
The crew was always polite, hardworking, and respectful of my property. Everything was completed with great care, and the yard looks absolutely great—neat, healthy, and thoughtfully designed.
If you’re looking for a reliable and professional landscaping company in Clark County or the Portland area, I would highly recommend Nature By Design. It’s such a comfort to work with a team you can trust, and will help you through the whole process!
Dan, the owner treated me like family.

We've been using Nature by Design for over a decade, and couldn't be happier with Dan and his crews! They put in 30 circuits of sprinklers did the drip lines for over a 100 plants and trees - and that's over 5 acres! He hooked it up to the well we had put in, and they've maintained the whole system ever since.

Their patience and persistence with accomplishing their work over the years is why we keep working with them. They're highly professional, courteous, and hard working. We couldn't have made a better choice!

Cheers to Dan and his team!

We couldn't be more pleased with the work Dan and his crew did in replacing our lawn and other improvements to our landscape. He responded to our request for help immediately and got the job done to perfection in a couple of days. We highly recommend Nature By Design for any of your landscaping needs.

After a sizeable home addition we had a gaping hole in our back yard hillside that really needed some expert work to make usable and attractive. Dan and his crew did a fabulous job of taking the rough vision we had and making it a beautiful, functional outdoor space. They also installed an irrigation system for the yard, improved our garden area, installed landscape lighting, and improved our outdoor areas in other ways. We are so pleased with the results. We highly recommend them for any landscape/outdoor needs.

For years I had been very unhappy with the landscaping in front of my home. I called Nature By Design met with Dan the owner who actually listened to me describe my vision for the area. And he made it happen!!
His crew did a stellar job and I am extremely happy with their work. He also repaired an area of hardscape, pruned my fruit trees, beautifully shaped an out of control weeping cherry tree, and did some long overdue work on my large maples.
I will be using Nature By Design again for my landscaping needs!
