Jorge and his team worked on 2 projects for us, one completed in 2022 and the second finished a few days ago. The jobs included: building a retaining wall, pavers installation, new sod, assembling a shed and overall landsdaping work.

Just had Jorge and his crew over to help remove ivy from an overgrown section of my back yard. It took them 3 days, it even rained and hailed one of the days but the team did a fantastic job, even pulling up the ivy roots, reseeded it with seed I bought and everything. Very thorough. 10/10 will hire them again for landscaping work.

So happy we chose Jorge and his team. We had been considering leveling out our front yard, putting in a retaining wall, as well as pruning some trees that needed attention, and an upgrade on the landscaping. Jorge and his team did an absolutely amazing job, we couldn’t be happier! We are going to have him do our next project!

All the workers at Jorge Landscsping did a great job!! They were all really hard workers & very friendly. We had our steps to the beach redone and added a railing, ivy removed from our drainfield, and lots of gravel spread around the cabin. It looks really good. So impressed with Jorge showing up when he says he will and on time!! Price was really reasonable too! Highly recommend!!!

Then they helped us with building a paver patio, brick garden beds, adding three gravel paths and building new stairs.

Jorge and his crew did such a fantastic job with making the front of our home look beautiful. We have such hard, rocky ground, but that didn’t stop them — they were out there all day working so hard and making things look so good. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. We will definitely be calling him again for more landscaping work we have planned! 🙂

Loved what Jorge and his team envisioned and delivered. This was a tricky patch in our backyard infested with dead roots, wild treelets, brushes, weeds, irregularly leveled topography, and a ton of rocks and boulders. They leveled the area, removed all roots, trees, weeds, and rest of the mess, and laid sod with the aesthetic placement of river rocks and repositioning of all the boulders and rocks. We cannot imagine there was so much yad hidden in that mess. All of this accomplished in 4 days. Super happy! Highly recommend them for anything landscaping and tree related work. Jorge and his crew are great! We have done two projects with them. First, we needed a 36ft section of our fence to be replaced that was covered with ivy and also had our old grape vine attached to it. We also wanted to build a pergola to hold the vine and better use the space. I had three companies give me bids and went with Jorge because I knew right away he knew what he was doing when he came to give me a quote. He immediately told me the ivy needed to be removed or the new fence would rot again. The other companies wanted to charge more to "carefully reposition the ivy on the new fence"... I explained how we envisioned the pergola and he immediately understood what we wanted and gave me a quote that beat the other guys' by a lot. Jorge and his crew started on time the next day and finished the whole job in one day. Let me tell you I am beyond impressed with the work. Not only did they recreate our vision, they improved upon it. Our biggest fear was for the vine to get damaged as it is decades old. Well, Jorge made it look as if the vine had always grown on the pergola, so beautiful. To top it all, they moved a tree that would be ruined by the new pergola to a new location in my yard free of charge! The second, I had Jorge and his crew do a remodel and upgrade of my backyard, which included a retention wall and staircase with large blocks, leveling a 60x10ft section behind the house, adding a French drain which connected to the gutter downspouts, and lastly a rock garden. The result was beautiful as can be seen in the pictures. I highly recommend Jorge for all landscaping needs. I know we will call him for all of future projects and maintenance needs.

Jorge provided me with a very competitive bid (I received 3 bids total from landscaping companies) and was the most reasonably priced of all the bids. His crew worked tirelessly, and efficiently, providing me with a fabulous new back yard, including new sod! I highly recommend this company!

Fantastic work, highly recommend! Very prompt response time and fast work (from the first phone call to finished work was 2 days). Very high attention to detail and very reasonable price! We had Jorge and his crew take out a dead tree and mow and clean up our yards. We asked to keep a bit for firewood, and they generously took time to cut the entire trunk down and stack it neatly in a corner of the yard. They seriously went above and beyond without hesitation!

Please don’t hesitate to ask for his opinion on various aspects of the job, because he can view things with a “fresh eye.” In my case, he offered helpful tips and suggestions to me. I hired Jorge landscaping and tree service to remove the grass in my front yard. When Jorge came to look at the job, I told him that I would not be replacing the grass and that I would be planting low maintenance plants. I wanted topsoil rototilled into the old soil and then covered with compost so I would be ready to plant in the fall.
When his crew started the work, I was surprised to see they were removing the sod by hand and not a sod cutter. Jorge later said he was concerned about utility line paint markings that were needed for a fence I was going to have built. His reason didn’t make sense. From what I read about using a sod cutter, the depth of cut is minimal. As a contractor he should know the depth of utilities. I also didn’t see that the workers had any sod cutter with them.
After the sod was removed and the workers were adding the topsoil, I could see pieces of sod still remaining. I asked one of the workers if they would grow back and he said yes. I then had a phone conversation with Jorge, and he assured me all the sod had been removed and would not grow back. He told me he could apply an herbicide. I told him I was concerned about any chemicals that would harm the new plants I would be planting. I asked him what he would be using, and he sent me a photo of Roundup weed killer. I told him I wasn’t concerned about weeds, only grass growing back. He assured me again that the grass would not grow back. I also told him that the topsoil was not being rototilled into the old soil as requested and that the amount of topsoil and mulch being added was very thin. His response was that they were adding a total of 4” combined topsoil and mulch. Most areas were less than that and some were barely covered.

After about 2 weeks some of the grass was growing back. I contacted Jorge and he asked me to send him photos, which I did. I also sent him a photo of where the addition of topsoil and mulch were barely 2 “ thick. It’s been about 2 weeks and I haven’t heard back and I don’t expect to. There is a reason he wants to be paid by cash or check. I have emails and text messages to verify the issues listed in my review.
