Miguel and his crew transformed our backyard from a bunch of dirt and weeds to a beautiful oasis in just 9 days. It was a huge project and they did the most amazing job. He was super easy to work with, on time and value priced. We already have plans to have him tackle another project....we would highly recommend him!

We used Pelican Landscaping to remove several unsafe trees and haul away several brush piles. Also used Pelican to dig a ~40 ft trench to install a 50 amp electrical service for a travel trailer. Pelican was able to do this on relatively short notice and complete the work in just a couple of days. Their work was of good quality and value. They are very professional and we’re responsive to our needs. They did the job when they said they could and completed the work ahead of schedule. We highly recommend Pelican Landscaping services and look forward to using them again in the future.

Miguel and his crew did an amazing job. They built a 70'x80' 3 foot retaining wall and inserted drainage pipes to alleviate a flooding problem we had at our home. The end product was what my wife and I envisioned. They were professional, efficient and amazingly flexible. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing work done on their property.

Pelican is the hardest working crew for a reasonable price we have seen in a while. They arrived on time and completed the job quickly. We are elderly and appreciated how professional and how comfortable they were to have at our home site. We will call them again and recommend them to friends.

Happened to run into this company working on another job and asked them to bid some trees I needed cut. Miguel came by a few hours later and we negotiated a reasonable price. He said he could get to it in the next week or so, but because of traffic they ended up doing it that day. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them and hire them again.

We had a great experience! Miguel was very responsive, and offered guidance for the ideas we had for our backyard. We asked for a patio, retaining wall, wood fencing, and a gravel pad to put a shed on, and they delivered! Miguel's team was very professional and focused. They completed the entire job in 5 days! Miguel and his crew removed an old willow tree in my field that had been down for quite a long time. They are extremely hard working and make every move count. Their prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend Pelican Landscape. You really get your money's worth with Miguel and his crew.

I worked with Miguel and his crew for several years. At first they were great, fair cost and great quality. I was happy to have finally found a reliable landscaper and probably spent about $50k in various projects over that time. I happily sung their praises to my neighbors, who started using them too.

Over time, I noticed their costs on projects going up while their quality of work went steadily down. The breaking point for me was when I hired them to install a chain link fence. The quote seemed questionably high so I asked him to split the quote between labor and materials, which he did and I agreed since I needed the work done soon and didn’t have time to get other quotes. He subcontracted out the work without telling me, then claimed there was $500 in “additional costs” that he claimed I did not discuss when he originally quoted (untrue). I paid for the labor portion and asked for the receipts for the materials portion. The receipts were a full $1200 less than he claimed. I told him I the numbers didn’t add up and he tried blaming me for the difference, saying something about additional work for the project that didn’t exist.

I was fed up at that point and told him I’d leave it up to him. I said I’ll pay him the additional $1200, but it would be the last time I used them. Miguel shrugged and literally said, “That’s fine, I’ve got plenty of work”.

That response should scare everyone away from using them.

He does not care at all about customer satisfaction, not even for long-term customers. He only cares about the immediate payoff. I checked with my neighbors and they said they were getting pretty dissatisfied with him as well. I’m going to be finding someone else and likely everyone around me will be leaving too.

I’ve attached a picture of the next to last project they did for me. Very poor quality.

Great crew, fast service at a reasonable cost and they cleaned up the work site when they were done. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping or tree service you may require.

Miguel and his crew cut down a huge cedar tree on my property and I was really impressed with their efficiency and hustle to get the job done in a timely manner, while also maintaining safety. I will definitely have him back to cut down more trees in the future. Thanks, Miguel!

I'm really glad I made the call to Pelican.Miguel was prompt in coming out to give me a cost estimate for doing a safety prune on my many large trees. He and his crew got started the next day and man, did they deliver. Over the course of 2 days they trimmed a total of 11 or 12 trees and also removed 4 additional trees per Miguel's recommendation.All debris was removed off the property. He also pointed out an additional issue with a large alder tree that was eventually going to break and fall towards the neighbor's property as it had a large fissure at the base of the trunk. They were very safety conscience and the whole team worked very methodically. All in all, the property looks amazing now and my wife and I feel much safer with the upcoming fall and winter weather not to mention all the mess I constantly clean up.I will be calling them again in the future.

I am editing my previous review due to Miguel and crew damaging my fence when they dropped a heavy branch on it. Everyone saw it yet when I confronted Miguel later he first denied it, then said there was nothing he could do. All I was asking was for him to fix the fence the branch damaged.
They did great work in all others respects. I am disappointed he didn't step up to do the right thing.

Miguel and his team were top notch. Left a letter saying he’d be in the area. Called him. Came by and quoted. Showed up on schedule. Work done. I fuss to the highest standard. Hauled everything out of here too! No fuss. This is how it should be…

After fighting with my yard since I moved in ,I decided it was time to get the professionals to do it. Pelican was recommended by a local nursery & they came by & gave me a fair price. I now have them on an every month service & am so happy when I walk out my door that my yard looks amazing! You won’t be sorry,the crew is great!

They came and did a good stretch of fence and partial 2-3 ft. retaining wall for us. The work was beautiful!!! And fast 2 days! Miguel and his team were respectful and communicative regarding ideas they had. We are definitely going to call them for the other side we need done when the time comes. Thank you Miguel and team!!!

We had 3 trees that need to be removed as they roots were growing and damaging our septic pipes. We called a few companies to give us a bid for the project. We went with Pelican Landscaping LLC, they were very pleasant, hardworking, and professional. Would recommend highly.

Excellent work on sod and yard work. The quote was well priced. The crew showed up and worked hard and were extremely friendly. Of all the quotes we got they had the best price and friendly service. Highly recommend for anyone getting yard work in Seattle.

Workers were on time, and very hard workers. They took care of four trees, cleaned up everything and were very nice. They also cleaned our roof and gutters. Before they were done they hosed off the windows of debris and the front porch and our back deck. Price was reasonable. I would recommend them highly.
