Cuthbert has been GREaT in keeping our yard and landscape in order. He always goes above and beyond in taking care of things. He also did our fence and landscaping and we are more than satisfied with his work. I’d highly recommend him for landscaping service if you have a need.

We have done several projects with Alderwood, including two major backyard renovations. Their work is stunning. It is elegant and tastefully designed to match the local environment. Guests are always amazed the first time they see it, even many years after project completion.

Alderwood has never hesitated to stand behind their work, even years later, when we needed help with a couple of minor issues.

If you're trying to decide, rest assured Alderwood will deliver your dream outdoor living space. You'll be so glad you did it, and wish you would have done it sooner. :)

I really can't recommend Alderwood Landscaping enough. Our new home needed a complete backyard renovation and we made the right call going with Alderwood. They helped with everything from design to installation to coordinating the contractors needed for the finishing touches. They didn't cut any corners and I was only charged what they initially estimated (except where I explicitly asked for changes/upgrades along the way). Furthermore, they've gone out of there way to help ensure the final product lived up to our expectation, resulting in at least a couple follow ups to fix/adjust that didn't hold up to their high standard. They are not the cheapest option out there but the piece of mind knowing you're going to get what you want is well worth it in my mind. Again, can't recommend them enough.

Alderwood Landscaping is absolutely top notch. Working with Tim Glass to design our backyard was an incredibly fun experience. They give you maps as you iterate on the design and they create a 3D video of the project, all before construction even begins. Once construction began, working with Johnny and the crew was awesome. Everyone was so professional, including the subcontractors for doing electrical, gas, and carpentry. I can’t recommend Alderwood enough - I wish I had a second backyard so I could work with them again!

We hired Alderwood back in 2023 to completely redo our front and back yards. We were truly delighted with the outcome. Our backyard went from a soggy mess that we rarely used to a space we use all year round. We love sitting in our hot tub and looking out at the green belt and the beautiful landscaping. The picture below is of our fire pit and seating area under our covered structure, but there is really so much more.

Alderwood has premium pricing, but I would say you get what you pay for. You get access to a landscape architect and full professional coordination. I didn’t have to manage a bunch of contractors to make sure that things got done. All the materials were also very high-quality and have lasted. We had a problem with a tree failing to thrive and Alderwood replaced it under warranty, no problem. I would definitely use Alderwood again if I had future landscaping needs.

After only a few meetings they had detailed drawings for the perfect design and then executed flawlessly. They brought my resort yard to life. I was impressed by their team and talent, transparency, and how they kept me up to date on the work and progress. After they finished, a few plants/trees died (as expected) and they came right out to replace them. They are very responsive, high quality people. I highly recommend.

I can't recommend Alderwood strongly enough, we underwent a huge background remodel and every phase of the project starting from design, to build, to touch ups at the end the people were wonderful to work with. Not only were we thrilled with incredible quality of the results, but all aspects of the construction were super professional. The crews worked super hard, were always on time, always showed up, always finished earlier than estimated. Communication was excellent! Huge thank you to Bryan (design), Devin (build), and Johnny (project management), and Justin (warranty crew) and everyone else involved with our project. Seriously after dealing with them its hard to go back to working with other contractors.

We couldn't be happier with the backyard that Alderwood created for us. It's clear that the entire Alderwood team wants you to be not only happy, but thrilled with the backyard that they create for you from start to finish.

We had an uninspiring left-to-right sloping backyard and we frankly had no clue what to do with it. We never used it other than to occasionally play lawn games. We met with Bryan to go over basic ideas and he came back with a top-notch design that helped us realize the possibilities.

The construction crew working under Nick to execute the design was outstanding. Johnny as our project coordinator was on top of everything and Justin provided on-going support after project completion to ensure we remained thrilled with our backyard.

I also want to mention that all the subcontractors that Alderwood used for items such as the outdoor structure, outdoor kitchen stonework, electrical and gas were all outstanding as well and worked well together as a team.

Alderwood just finished a backyard water feature and structure for me and did a fantastic job. They weren’t the low bid but the quality, attention to detail, and willingness to listen to the customer was incredible.

They came in with a detailed project plan that addressed items I had never thought of but that made the difference on this project.

All of the people they recommend to support the project, i.e. plumbers, electricians, carpenters, are first rate.

Highly recommend Alderwood Landscaping! Their team is professional and knowledgeable. The attention to detail from the design work to installation ... we were so impressed! The design process is amazing, they provide not only blue prints but also a 3D virtual video of how it will look in the end, so you can really see what it will look like. Then the installation process was so thought out, the boulders were high end and well placed. We so enjoy our outdoor space now because of them!

I've had the opportunity to work with Alderwood landscaping and highly recommend them. They helped me design a front and back patio area which included helping me pick appropriate plants based on the sunlight, etc. The crew that installed the patios was highly professional and easy to work with. The patio and landscaping is beautiful! I'm very happy with the end result. My work with Alderwood didn't stop there. They replaced plants that died within the first year with no questions asked. They also return to help me with a couple minor issues that happened 3 years after install and didn't charge me (and I expected to pay for their services that far out). Patrick and the entire crew were phenomenal. They faced a tricky challenge with our fence line that prevented the use of standard heavy equipment. However, they adapted brilliantly—using smaller machinery and incredible skill to maneuver large boulders through a very tight space. Their attention to detail was impressive. The finished result is nothing short of incredible, and we enjoy looking at it every day. We highly recommend Alderwood to anyone dreaming of their own backyard resort!

Alderwood Landscaping is amazing! What an outstanding experience! From the initial stunning design by Bryan, our landscape architect, to the very talented and professional onsite crew led by Patrick and Johnny, the entire process was so enjoyable. We never expected it to be so fun! Selecting the walkway and patio materials, and all the plants turned out to be easy with help from Bryan, Johnny and Patrick. The communication was never less than excellent and we felt our input was actually welcomed by the team. And every single person made us feel as though they all were invested in the finished product. Compared to many of the Alderwood Landscaping installations we’ve seen, ours was a small project, but I can tell you the entire team never gave less than 1000%! Alderwood exceeded our expectations. Tim understood our vision and created a modern, elegant, and functional design. Johnny's advice on materials to use for the patio, walls and lighting was spot on.
