We use Black Pearl Electric regularly for projects at the condominium and homeowner associations we manage, and they have been great to work with. They are responsive, professional, and do solid work. When you manage a lot of properties, it really matters to have vendors you can count on, and they have been one of those companies for us.

Brandon has been especially good to work with. He communicates well, follows through, and makes things easy on both our team and our clients. I would definitely recommend Black Pearl Electric.

I have hired Black Pearl Electric twice now and have had a great experience both times. The first time was for a bad electrical panel at one of my rental homes, and the second was to install a dedicated outlet for my generator at my house.

Black Pearl Electric recently helped us transition a hard wired dishwasher to an outlet behind our sink for an updated plug in dishwasher. He was quick and super helpful about explaining what needed to be done. As he was finishing this dishwasher plug work, I showed him my stovetop in a new question for a future price quote. Brandon saw the electrical in place for our stovetop and quickly replaced the wiring set up to avoid any safety issues from the way it was set up. Such an amazing, super friendly, local family owned business. I am grateful to have an electrician like this to call!

I would give 6 stars if I could. Brandon and his team performed a full panel swap, upgraded my generator transfer switch, installed an L2 charger with a long conduit, and successfully figured found and repaired a melted outlet that was causing no lights in our dining room (and was serious fire hazard). And he did all of this for an INSANELY reasonable price

Then, when he came back out to finish the charger install, my cooktop had stopped working, and he figured out that the cooktop installers failed to warn me it was a 50amp appliance on a 40amp circuit. He then got it working, applied a special connector material to better insulate, and put the power cables in a box that the previous owners left dangerously exposed. And he took detailed notes and photos of the burnt out connector that allowed me to get a full refund on the cooktop install!

He’s also extremely knowledgeable, but talks to you in a way that doesn’t make you feel stupid. And he’s completely honest. I have recommended black pearl to my closest friends and family, and recommend them to you too. Hands down the best experience I’ve had with a major home repair.
