Construction Company reviews in Bothell, Washington

Ion just finished a small painting project in two of our rooms. He is a man of his word. He came when he promised and he completed the project on time. Feel free to contact Ion of The Construction Compass if you want a reliable painter at a reasonable price. He is not the cheapest painter you will interview, but he will deliver a positive experience!

I called The Construction Compass originally to get some flooring done in my basement. I liked his work so much that I ended up having him do some painting, drywall, millwork, and window installations too. Everything was done beautifully and I am very pleased with the results. He was always on time and communicated to make sure everything turned out according to plan! I had lots of questions throughout my project and he was a breeze to work with. Can't recommend this contractor enough.

The Construction Compass did an amazing job tiling our outdoor patio area! We couldn’t be happier with the results.
Ion was professional, efficient, and attentive to every detail. He was also very easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs construction done.

Ion can do it all! He reframed one wall of my house that had been eaten by carpenter ants and replaced the entire header and all. Everything is perfect, from the right materials used to the extreme attention to detail. He also did all my chimney work from sealing it, to replacing the siding, all the way up to the new chase cover. He removed a satellite dish and replaced the roofing shingles and it looks like it was never there. I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my house. Easy to work with, extremely professional, fair prices, and most of all, top-notch, quality work. 100% recommend for any exterior or interior job. Thanks Ion! Now my garage looks gorgeous! 😊 (and yes, he wired up those beautiful new lanterns too!)

Ion is the best contractor I could ever ask for. He overhauled my entire house more or less, and every step of the way, he was thoughtful, patient, kind, professional, highly skilled, experienced, innovative, and communicative. I honestly would never hire anyone else after having worked with him. His attention to detail is unmatched, and he takes such great pride in his work--a quality that is really hard to come by nowadays. And his prices are fair, to boot! A true craftsman, Ion has turned our late '70s house that had been neglected into a timeless (and structurally sound) home that we will enjoy for many years to come. He made the place beautiful "inside and out." Truly. I can't speak highly enough of Ion and his work. You won't find a better contractor. Thank you, Ion!

We recently hired The Construction Compass for two bathroom remodels after a water leak and were so impressed that we also had them paint the exterior of our home. His attention to detail, beautiful tile work, and quality work really stood out. He and his team were very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Communication was excellent throughout the process - he kept us updated, answered our questions, and made sure we were comfortable with each step. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled contractor.

We had such an amazing experience with Cruz
Construction! The first day we asked about the job, they were there looking to see how they could help. They worked with us on timing so it didn’t disrupt office hours or patient care. They also coordinated work with the electrician which saved such so much - our prior quote for electrical was over double what we ended up spending with the extremely professional crew they recommended. Cruz was timely, responsive, and the job looks absolutely amazing. Our patients are loving the remodel and it’s completely brightened the space. Highly recommend!!

Cruz Construction remodeled my small bathroom. I now have a beautiful zero threshold shower which will enable my husband and myself to age in place. They were very friendly & good to work with during the project.

Thank you for donating to CO/PA flag football team!

Great company and easy to work with them! Thank you so much Jose Monterrosa and team! My bathroom looks great.

We have hired 3 different times Cruz Construction for different home remodeling and they are the best. We are super happy with the quality, work, attention to details and professional service. We can totally recommend if you are planning to remodel or upgrade your home. Best quality and service!!

If you looking for a great contractor that does what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it, then Jose is your guy! His work is beautiful & he is not trying to underbid the job & then give you a song & dance about why it's going to cost more after he has your home torn apart. He's someone you can trust to do a great job!

I had a water outlet from the dishwasher separate in the outside wall. Never noticed until I tried to sell it turned up during inspection. The floor and wall were rotted and needed replaced, both inside and out. Thing is I had hired a different contractor to replace the floors and they never mentioned any problem though they covered the area with flooring. Cruz Construction came out gave a reasonable estimate, and got the job done quickly and professionally in time for closing.

Jose and team were fantastic to work with on our kitchen remodel. He offered so many helpful suggestions and unique touches that made our kitchen stand-out. They did not disappoint. Looking to use Cruz Construction for our bathroom remodel too.

Seven years ago Jose came recommended to me as somebody to correct mistakes made by a less competent contractor. He went above and beyond for me on that project and was an excellent communicator through completion. I have called on him multiple times since then and he has always come through for my different projects at different properties, including one just recently. In my experience through the years, it is not easy to find quality work at a good value. To have a contractor that also stays communicative and really cares about making sure I'm happy with the end result is a rare find. Cruz Construction has consistently fit all of those criteria for me.

We recently used Cruz Construction for our home renovation and we’re glad we did. We initially reached out to Jose for a quote and he responded and came out to do a walkthrough right away. We got the quote and were able to begin the project quickly. They helped us remove all our existing carpet and flooring throughout the house and change it all to bamboo hardwood and marble tile. Everyone we interacted with were courteous, reliable, and professional and the floors came out looking great. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Cruz Construction again for any future projects

I hired Cruz Construction to remodel my bathroom and replace windows in my living room. Jose was great to work with. He communicated with me throughout the entire project. His work was excellent. I am so happy with the new bathroom and window replacement. I will definitely will call Jose for any future projects and will recommend him.

Jose and his team did a number of projects for us, including 3 bathroom remodels, a garage permitting and remodel, and some exterior work. Jose went above and beyond in all cases, and we will absolutely continue to work with him. He does not subcontract his work, and he and his team are incredibly professional, quiet and unobtrusive. He leaves everything clean throughout the duration of the project. He helped realize each project based on inspirational photos we showed him, helped source materials, and did not leave until the project was 100% to our satisfaction (and his). He added brilliant ideas to each project, and everything turned out wildly better than we anticipated.

Jose also stayed on budget with each project. His bids were detailed and it was always clear exactly where we were in the project each step of the way. We were never invoiced beyond the scope of the projects.

Jose's experience is invaluable for inexperienced remodelers like us. He knew exactly when we needed design direction and his experience was critical to the overall result, particularly when we asked for unusual features. Would highly recommend for any project, and we will be using him again.

I recommend Cruz Construction 100%.
Jose and his crew did a fantastic job repairing my kitchen and hallway floor after horrible water damage in my home.
They also did a fantastic job in my bathroom!
Can't say enough good things about his company!
Jose is knowledgeable and honest .Fantastic guy to work with!

I have worked with Cruz on multi-million dollar projects with diversified scope of work, from seismic framing, roof integration, highly specific custom-made finishes and Cruz and his team’s work has been absolutely phenomenal! Him and his team are brilliant craftsmen with extreme attention to detail! I would recommend Cruz to anyone who is looking to construct, remodel or even do finishes in your home!

Jose and Anton were really awesome to work with. We had a budget in our mind and they stick to it. They gave timeline of 6 to 8 weeks for a whole Kitchen and bathroom remodel but finished in a month as we were expecting and baby came home early. They were really supportive and provided with lot of new ideas when we added/changed some things in the middle of the project. Anton is really smart and skilled with innovative ideas for any questions you ask.

Kitchen: We replaced the entire cabinets, countertop, backsplash and floor in the kitchen.
Also added a Custom Bar cabinet with glass windows on the top and storage on the bottom with matching countertop as kitchen.

Bathroom: We replaced the vanities in all the bathrooms and facelift for master bathroom with flooring walk-in shower and extra tall storage cabinet.

Really happy with new updated, modern and stylish kitchen and bathroom. Definitely will call them again for any future projects and highly recommend them.
