Fastest money I ever spent. But I mean that in a good way. They were able to quickly resolve our problem, on time, very nice, great at communicating for coordinating the appointment and they came out in less than 24 hours from when I called.

I hired this company to replace old knob and tube wiring, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. Their quote came in at about one-third less than a competing bid, yet the quality of their work and professionalism exceeded expectations.

From the start, communication was excellent. Ryan, the electrician who led the project, was diligent, respectful, and kept me informed and asked for input at every step. Despite being relatively young, he displayed a level of knowledge, maturity, and honesty that’s rare to find. He worked hard to minimize the number of holes in the walls and ceilings, which will make patching much easier. He and his assistant Matthew arrived on time every day and left the workspace clean and tidy. Ryan has what it takes to run his own successful company some day.

The owner of the company was also great to work with—transparent, respectful of the budget, and didn’t try to upsell or tack on unnecessary costs. They even managed to add a few additional features I requested, all without going over budget.

MOGOVOLT just completed an upgrade to the entire electrical system in our home. We are beyond pleased! The work was excellent; they provided guidance re: the electrical codes and scheduled the inspections when each phase was completed. They provided excellent suggestions regarding lighting locations and placement of switches and outlets. They installed LED band lighting in kitchen cabinets and directional lighting for artwork requiring a high level of precision Their communication was excellent throughout the process. All debris and dust was throughly cleaned at the conclusion of each day’s work.This is an 8 year old family run business which provides excellent training and benefits to their employees. They did a good job for me and I recommend them. They scheduled my work with littole delay after I approved it and came on a Saturday to make if fit for them. My jobs included installing a new outlet, upgrading an outdoor outlet, replacing two outdoor light fixtures, and replacing my non working doorbell transformer and chime with new ones.

Hyper competent, speedy, reliable, clean. This group of electricians are so competent, and so speedy—I never have to worry if they will show up on time, they’re very punctual and do exactly what they say they’re doing to do, and they are careful to not leave a mess—in fact, had it not been for the new physical outlets and lights I wouldn’t have know they did work on my house. Daniel and his team never cut corners. They are very thorough and make sure they do the job correctly so that anyone that follows them can see it’s done right. Even the inspection guy was impressed. We had them work on very very old (unsafe) knob and tube wiring. They also clearly labeled to circuit panel so we all know what breaker connects to what.

Installed a battery backup system in my garage. The workers were efficient and thorough, cleaned up thoroughly, and it all got done in time. They even replaced an outdoor light at no cost to me.

Before hiring this company GET MULTIPLE QUOTES! They came in at 4 times the cost of the next quote and had a huge attitude when I was surprised that their quote was so high.

Edited to respond to owner: Mogovolt did no clarifying or working with me when I voiced that $2,000 to move 2 outlets seemed unreasonable. In fact, the employee got combative and claimed "this is what it takes to get the job done, bud". The only time Mogovolt tried to walk me through other options to accomplish the job without paying an obscene amount was after my negative review went up. Mogovolt then proceeded to contact my building to tell them that I would be unable to find anyone to do the work for less. Their competitor not only completed the job beautifully, we're much kinder, and could not believe the amount Mogovolt was attempting to charge. The core of my review is this "get multiple quotes" and "I would never hire Mogovolt again". These are understandable statements that do not require the pushback that Mogovolt uses. I am beginning to majorly doubt the authenticity of their positive reviews.

We were in the process of selling our home and had a few light switches that were suspect or bulbs not working properly. Max came by, fixed any pending issues and did it with a great attitude and commitment to his work product. I highly recommend Mogovolt and Max in particular.

We hired Mogovolt to replace all knob and tube wiring in our 100 year old home in Queen Anne and update all outlets and switches with new brass hardware. Additionally, we upgraded our overhead service to 200 amps and installed a new larger panel and hardwired all smoke and CO detectors.

I got quotes from a number of local companies, and while all were close in their pricing, Mogovolt’s came in a bit lower, with a number of very strong referrals from neighbors, as well as Homeowner’s Club.

This project ended up being a more complicated project than we anticipated, because old houses have secrets- ours happened to have a lot more active knob and tube than we had originally anticipated when we bought the house. The Mogovolt team from start to finish was incredibly detailed in their estimates, explanations and ideas for updating our wiring with not just solutions that we liked, but were well-thought through, up to code aligned with new building standards. Communication was outstanding- even when I didn’t understand something they took the time to explain different decisions and possible solutions.

Adi and Ben were always very communicative and gave us great morning and end of day updates- additionally they were happy to talk through solutions and explain, and reexplain more than once a number of tricky decisions we had to think through and understand.
