I have been using Dave’s Chimney Service for years. They have always been professional and prompt with their service. They don’t over charge, even stopping by and helped me with a simple issue with my wood stove and did not charge me. They’ve also been accommodating when my renter wasn’t home to let them in and let me reschedule last minute. Would highly recommend.

I will say I am not normally one to leave bad reviews. I prefer to give kudos when they are deserved... I would be doing our community a disservice though not to express my dissatisfaction with Dave's Chimney Service and their unprofessional behavior on multiple levels. I called around and initially found them professional as they returned my phone call to set up service and called the night before to confirm they would come and give me a better ETA... but then it went downhill from there.

I chose them initially not because they were the cheapest (they weren't), but because they could get us an appointment within a couple of weeks. I took the whole day off work because they couldn't give me a timeline until the night before as to when they would arrive. The day of, their sweeper calls me and tells me there is road construction and it will take an extra 30 minutes to get to me and that he has to cancel because he wouldn't have time for his other appointments that day. I was professional but I mentioned it was throwing a wrench in my day to have to reschedule and I am sure he could tell the disappointment in my voice. I was promised the office would call me to reschedule... That was Thursday, I waited Friday, over the weekend, Monday... No phone call... I called on Tuesday to reschedule myself, left a voicemail. Called again on Thursday, left another voicemail. Called again the following week and now 4 weeks later I still have not gotten a phone call with an apology or a request to retain my business. My family was left scrambling to find someone to come clean our Chimney as everyone else was booking as cold weather is approaching. I can't say the last time I had such bad service, I will never recommend them, never use them, and will make sure others know not to go through them as they are unaccountable.

I hope the owner of their business reads this and will improve their customer service otherwise I'm afraid they wont have a business for much longer. As someone who has worked 20+ years in customer service and management, I expect better of local businesses.

We had hired another local chimney service to come do a chimney sweep. During that sweep, that company broke something. They did come back and fix it, however we were not confident in their workmanship.

We called Dave’s Chimney Service to come do an inspection. They were quick to get us on the schedule. They were courteous to call the day before and give us a timeframe for arrival. The two gentlemen were punctual. Upon their arrival, they found that our chimney had been swept, however the stove had not been cleaned properly by the other company. They promptly showed me with a flashlight, took photos and began cleaning. The before and after photos were dramatically different.

These guys are professional, kind and knowledgeable. I am confident in the job they did and will continue to call them year after year. Highly recommend.

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed one of our stoves was not working normally. I called Dave's Chimney, and they scheduled my cleaning and inspection for Jan 7th 2025. They were so professional and very kind. Nick was awesome. Nick's knowledge was amazing! He has been doing this work for many years. I will continue to use them for my cleaning and inspection. I have zero worries about my fireplaces now because I know what to look into for the future. Thank you!

Dave's Chimney recently replaced a crown on my chimney and did a great job, and they gave me some (free) helpful advice about the best way to use my wood stove. In an era when contractors flake out on jobs or charge extortionate rates, it is a relief to find someone who answers the phone, shows up on time, and has reasonable pricing. If you need some chimney work, I highly recommend them.
