I called and talked to Sam twice. We are a military family and had a limited timeline for getting things done. He was supposed to get back in touch with me and never did. I called War-Mur in Centralia and they got me scheduled immediately with great customer service. Needless to say that's where I spent my money!

Travers installed a sub panel, light and several circuits in our shop/garage building. The work was done efficiently and was well organized. We would use them again.

Sadly he never made it out. First only over the internet to make estimate. Then a simple wiring for a garage. Scheduled for a Friday. I took off the day so I could explain where I needed the boxes and show the main supply. No Show and No answer. Finally heard back on Monday. He could make it it out the next week. I have already taken a day off and company lost money and I lost money. I feel he needs to better communicate. Be aware of people do have jobs and can't take time off with a whim. Who knows if he would have even showed this that time.

I recently had a tree fall onto a wire right outside my house and pull the main power wires off the side of my house. The PUD couldn't turn the power back on until I had an electrician out to repair all the damage to the mast and check over the breaker box.
Travers Electric was the only one that answered the phone the next morning, and I practically begged them to come out as soon as they could since we had been out of power since the night before.
They were able to move some things around in their schedule to make it out to my place that morning while I was at work. Much to my surprise, I called around noon to see if they had made it out yet and they already had it fixed and had the PUD on their way out to turn the power back on!
The quality of work done was very good, and looks to be much better secured than before.
I cannot express enough how grateful I am to the guys at Travers Electric for getting out to me right away and getting my power back in order!

We had an emergency power outage involving a freezer which served an Olympia food bank location. Travers was very helpful and responsive. They made space in their schedule and provided a great tech who called to confirm arrival and was on time. The tech correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed the immediate issue in a workmanlike manner. He went further and helped label the switches clearly and pointed out some things to watch for going forward. A great experience and outcome. We highly recommend this business as your needs require.

These guys are the best. Competent , clear headed and incredibly professional.

Travers worked with my immediate needs. We had a electrician flake out on us after waiting 2 weeks to get a home office up and running. Called and they had someone out the same day. Very pleased.

I was quoted $625 to replace the wire between my hot water heater and breaker box, but Sam assured me that the final bill could be below that amount if the job was easier than they originally thought.

The electrician, Tim, who came to do the job was here for less than 30 minutes. When I got the bill in the mail, the job was billed the same amount as the bid. When I called, Sam said that Tim had recorded 2.5 hours at my house, despite me also only living 6 minutes away from the company. Sam refused to lower the price of the bill, and I feel pretty scammed. $625 for 20 minutes of work and some materials is insane.

EDIT: The company's reply to me is a lie. Michael came thinking that the job was to replace the wire from the top of the hot water heater to the floor. He left without doing any work when I explained that was not what the work was supposed to be. When Tim came to do the actual job, it took him 20 minutes. I am sure of the time because I work from home and had a meeting coming up that I was watching the clock for. It wasn't an underground wire either, it went through my crawlspace. Regardless of whether you want to call it an estimate or a written bid, Sam told me that the bill rate could be different from the bid, so your estimator was misleading and your electrician lied on his timecard and you're holding the customer responsible for that. Very bad business practices all around.

Evidently they're not hurting for business! Talked to "Sam" last week re: replacing some baseboard heaters. He called back with estimate & we discussed me ordering them from Home Depot instead as would be cheaper & then having Travers install. I called Fri. AM to let him know new heaters would arrive Mon & could we go ahead & set up an appt. He said he would check & call back that afternoon. When didn't rec'v call, I called & they said he'd gone home for w/e. The receptionist said he could call me Mon. No call...... Anyway, I made other arrangements. I think most people expect businesses to follow thru with promises.

Over a period of time I have had several electrical projects around the house. I spoke with the people at Travers and they were courteous, professional, and completed the job(s) in a timely manner. I would recommend them to everyone!

The job was a small electrical panel repair. Nathanial (soon to be Eustis) showed up when they said they would prepared to do the job with the materials needed based on the pictures I had sent. He was professional, polite and efficient. I have not yet seen a bill but was quoted reasonable rates. I would recommend them as well as hire them again.

I recently used Travers for an electrical issue I was having at my rental house. They told me that the issue was rats eating through the wires and that they would have to open up the drywall and rewire the whole house. They said it was a hazard as well. They also shared with my tenant that is was a hazard and that the house could catch on fire at any time. After the tenant heard that he did not feel safe and moved out a month early. Traver's suggested I get the rat problem fixed first and then have the wiring done. I hired a company to seal all areas in the crawl space and attic ($1,755). My loss on rent was $600. I then convinced an electrician that I have used on multiple jobs to take a look and give me his opinion. He said the electrician that Travers sent had not idea what he was talking about. There ended up being a wire that wasn't connected to the breaker panel. Once that wire was traced and secured the heaters worked with no problem. Some additional cleanup was done with separating circuits and I was good to go. I asked my electrician multiple times if there was ever a hazard and he assured me that there was not.

Turns out the electrician from Travers was an apprentice. I am now out $2,350 just between the loss on rent and the clean up for the rats that were supposedly chewing through the wires. I called and spoke with the manager and asked what they were going to do to rectify this. The manager talked with the owner and they said they would not charge me for the service call. Are you kidding me?

Travers installed an electrical panel for new service. Despite COVID and a busy time of year, they did a good job of responding as the work progressed waiting on PUD (who also did a good job). At a time when all other electricians either didn't return calls at all or turned down the work because they were too busy, Travers made room for me. Grateful!

I like that Travers has a process and you aren’t just talking to someone who is too busy and putting you off. You call and talk to Sam and he gets you on the schedule and an electrician comes out. Had a job that was out in Shelton and Travers was able to get it done after calling many electricians. Really appreciate Travers and have used them multiple times.

We reached out to our community to find out who the best electrician was in our area and Travers kept coming up. They came out and were ready to work the same day of the appointment. They gave us a quote, did exactly what they said they were going to do, they did it in the timeframe that they gave us, and the bill was exactly what we were told it would be. Very impressed.

So happy that I called! They were able to fit me in for an appointment within the week of calling to install a ceiling fan mount in my master bedroom. Technician showed up on time, very friendly and polite (even with my crazy kids running around). Had the new mount secured, fan installed, and even fixed a wonky socket in my kitchen light all in an hour. Definitely will recommend them to anyone who asks :)

I had the complete opposite experience with Travers. I called in an urgent need to clean up my wiring issues (some of which were as serious as a possible fire hazard in our upstairs crawl space) just before a looming appraisal date and I was assigned Joe. He was very efficient. Did an excellent estimate (which the end price did not change from original quote) and came out the next day, with an apprentice, and they both worked tirelessly and quickly all day and cleaned up their mess very well. 2 of the nicest guys. Super professional! I'm totally happy with everything they did and my price was very reasonable. I still need more work done and I would use them again.

Travers Electric put in 4 full days of work at my home, I had a very long list of upgrades. They came up with creative solutions, steered me away from high-expense but low-payoff items, and were great to work with. On time, under budget, cheerful, outstanding.

They do great work, but their customer service was absolutely terrible. The did a panel replacement for my home, did great job so I ignored the broken promises about an estimate at the time, took me 3 times contacting to get an estimate for the job. Once on the schedule, everything was good. Since they did a good job I contacted them again for new work on my new home. Person who answers the phone is great, not a problem there. Estimator told me several times that he would get the estimate to me. The last conversation he told me he "fast track it" and get it to me, a month later and still no estimate. Unfortunately I will not contact them again for future work, just too unreliable...

I called Travers because part of my electricity in my house went out they were so quick to send someone out to assess the situation. Then within a week they sent a second person out to complete all the repairs. They were reasonable with their price for the scope of work done and I now have electricity back!! Their workers were so courteous and professional. I highly recommend Travers for your electrical needs!!
