General Contractor reviews in Cheney, Washington

Great results and good communication

We had a new deck built and a bathroom totally remodeled and new front door. Very courteous and pleasant guy and work done as advertised.

Mark and Miles are great to work with!
Great attention to detail, I would highly recommend

Hired Big Timber for large home addition. Full service from excavation and foundation to finish work. Professional top quality building.

They are very quick to respond and helpful. Gave a great plan of attack on our project and want to work with us to make sure we love the outcome. Very knowledgeable and understanding.

I had Big Timber completely remove and replace a roof, trusses and all. They did great work and kept a very clean worksite. These guys went above and beyond to make sure the job turned out great!

We had a small remodel done, taking out a wall to make a larger living space and music room. We love our new space! Miles and Mark give great attention to detail, true craftsmen. I highly recommend this company.

Working with Big Timber to remodel our bathroom was great! Our bathroom had to be completely gutted. New everything including beautiful tile work! We were so happy with the process and the final result. The guys were great!

The construction for our elevator had to be very exact. Opening and reinforcing the floor and removing floor trusses, and adding the supports and building a wall to support the elevator. Not only were we delighted with the work but the building inspector and the elevator installation crew were impressed. Everyone on the crew was wonderful. I would highly recommend Big Timber.

My brother and I have been doing a major renovation on a couple of apartments in Cheney. When we got to the cast iron bathtubs we knew we were in over our heads. I called Miles and he was able to fit us in for a couple of days between projects. I could not be happier with the results. They pulled both tubs very quickly and moved on to a list of other items including installing 2 prehung doors and dry fitting the new showers. They were very fast, did quality work and the price was reasonable. We will definetly be using this team in the future. Thanks Miles and Mark! We could not have done this without you.

Miles at big timber contractors did an excellent job on building front and back stairs for my new home. He was friendly, easy to work with and his pricing was on point. I would certainly use this company again for my construction contracting needs.

Miles and his whole crew were amazing. It was not the biggest job or most expensive job that he usually receives, but he took on the task and they did amazing work, compared to other contractors that blew me off because they were not going to make a lot of money off of it. I would recommend Big Timber Construction to anyone i know, because they are professional and courteous. Definitely would use them for any home improvement needs!!!

Super happy with the work done by the Big Timber team on our project. Our garage had some older beams needing reinforcement so it could last another 50+ years. Big Timber was able to reinforce the structure and ultimately bring us some peace of mind. Great people to work with.

Big Timber Contractors are amazing! We reached out to them early last spring as we had house plans in hand and were ready to finally put a decades old dream into motion. Mark, Amber, Miles and their crew have been very easy to work with in all that comes with getting a house from the challenging bare, rocky ground to the enclosed structure we asked for! Mark's attention to detail, knowledge, communication skills, how he works with their crew to teach them, and, sometimes learn from them, was great to watch. Mark and Miles really treat their crew well and it shows! They were here when they said they would be, ready to work and always respectful. The communication that the crew has is wonderful to hear, from calling out measurements and getting confirmation of them to how they treated each other. From the beginning of the project, they knew it would be a challenge but they all persisted to get the job done well to the point we have a solid house to put our finishing touches on. We are looking forward to hiring them for the insulation and drywall parts of the project before the final finishes that will be on our plate. Knowing that we have and will be able to ask questions along the way is of great comfort to us!

Big Timber did an outstanding job on my fence project from start to finish. The crew was professional, friendly, and efficient, showing great attention to detail throughout the build. They set every post square and level, kept the site clean, and completed the work right on schedule. The finished fence looks excellent—sturdy, straight, and exactly how I wanted it. Communication was clear and consistent the whole way through, and the quality of workmanship speaks for itself. I highly recommend Big Timber Construction to anyone needing reliable, skilled work done.
