The folks at Energywise have been quick and responsive from our first phone call. Robert is very experienced in the installation of Ductless Heat Pump systems and walked us through our many options. We especially liked his construction and electrical knowledge so we could get the answers direct from him vs. another contractor and he could solve the many complexities of our job.We have been thoroughly happy with the professionalism and quick installation of our new system.

Energywise installed a ductless heatpump/AC unit in my home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were always prompt and quick to communicate or answer questions. They had the entire installation completed in a day, explained the operation of it, and left the areas where they were working cleaner than they found them - no trace they had been here, except for the quietly operating heater, keeping the upstairs at a steady comfortable temperature. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

this company was not my first choice as their local competitor is better known, BUT I was extremely pleased that I a good friend suggested that I choose them. they are much more responsive to my requests, offered a much better price, showed up on time and prepared to do the work, finished the job more quickly than anticipated, everything works extremely well, and they kindly followed up with helpful advice to us as new users of the heat pump they installed. I could not be more pleased.

Three years ago we were looking for a system in a home I built in 1990. I called X (a huge company out of Seattle) and the gentleman came to the home and told me about the fantastic deals he had and would save me
hundreds of dollars. I also found Energywise at Home Depot and asked
Robert if he could take the time to inspect our home and give me a bid.
He spent over an hour measuring the home and three days later I received via email a three page proposal of what he would do.
Mr. X also send me a one page letter-nothing about what he would install but again telling me how much I would save!

This was a complicated system as One of the units (three total) had to be installed on an interior wall in a bedroom. His installation was the best as he ran everything behind the closet door.

We were so impressed with his work we had him installed a new system
two years ago in an art studio that I built for my wife.

He did all the work on our units, and spent the time explaining the system

Cost? Robert was over $400.00 cheaper than Mr X.

What a fantastic experience! Energywise was a great investment for our home and our guest cottage and living in comfort on Whidbey affordably. From the minute we met Sean to through the entire process with Robert and his installers JJ and Mike we were very happy. They braved snow and freezing temps and had us up and running in less than a week, They are affordable, knowledgable and consistent with their communication. I can only say all was done in excellence for a great price. We also benefitted from the Kicking Gas program to give us an even more affgordable investment! 5 stars all the way and thanks for giving us a comfortable home!!

I’m delighted with both the products and services provided by energywise. After completing a careful analysis of my heating needs, Sean Anderson helped me choose the appropriate heat pump. We chose a Daikin, and I decided to use it with the duct work already in place from my propane furnace. The estimate from Energywise was lower than others I had received for an installation of the same unit.

His team arrived on the day and time I
expected. Thereafter, they arrived each morning at 8:15, and cleaned up when they left in the afternoon. The installation team was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked well together. They were not intrusive. The project was completed on time. The thermostat was explained to me.

Sean called after installation to see if I was happy. I said there was a high frequency sound in the house. He came ASAP, discovered that it was coming from the return vent, and adjusted it.
I’m pleased with Energywise, and recommend then without reservation.

This company did an outstanding job installing a ductless Mitsubishi Heat pump system for our home which includes heating and air conditioning. Robert was very thorough in his initial site visit which included measurements and identifying locations for the equipment. He contacted us as soon as the equipment arrived at his shop to schedule the work. Robert, co-owner Sean and their crew showed up on time and installed the system efficiently professionally and most importantly, every thing worked! They cleaned the site after the work was completed and returned to provide on site training of the system. Their prices were fair and they honored their estimate. Robert and Sean are the best on Whidbey Island! I am totally impressed from the first contact, bid, and two weeks later professional white glove installation! They follow up to make sure everything is running smoothly. . They also show you how to maintain and clean the system. I asked for the smart thermostat Mysa and purchased it. I am pleased with how well is works with Daikin. It was very easy to install and it is great if you travel!

My friend and neighbor Joanne had another company install her split level unit years ago and she had terrible service with the company! Robert was kind enough to help her diagnose her system. (She had been without heat for 6 weeks). This team goes above and beyond even after installing your unit! Most of my neighbors used Robert and Sean and it was definitely worth hiring them for the install because they will be there for you if something goes wrong! Nice job guys!

Energywise is a local gem that gets things done and does them right the first time. From my first meeting with Robert, the owner, to Taylor, the shop logistics guru, to JJ and Mike, the genius installers, things went so smoothly. The team kept me in the loop and apprised of next steps. I was provided an initial proposal/estimate and although some new ducting was necessary I was not charged extra. So impressed.
