Constraction reviews in Colbert, Washington

Need a few repairs on our roof and Sam, the owner came on by to handle them. New seals around pipes and caulked a few nails. Thankful for his willingness to do this small job.

We had such a great experience with DG Contracting. From the first visit, the team was quick, professional, and incredibly communicative. They took the time to explain exactly what was happening with our leak, why it occurred, and what our options were — all without ever pressuring us toward a full roof replacement. Instead, they educated us, answered every question clearly, and left the decision in our hands. That level of honesty and transparency is rare and so appreciated. I’m grateful for their work and would absolutely recommend DG Contracting to anyone who needs roofing help.

These guys do 5-star work. Sam and his crew at DG Roofing did an outstanding job on our roof. They started on the day they said they were going to start, they were on time, and completed everything in only two days. Materials and what we ordered showed up the day before work started. Drip strip edge looks nice and straight with no obvious misaligned seams or scratches. The ice shield and underlayment were applied to code. Shingles are perfectly lined up with the edge of the roof and are placed and installed in the correct pattern and direction. Continuous ridge vent and decorative ridge shingles were attached one by one, with attention given to centering them perfectly over the front and rear roof peaks for a seamless symmetrical finish. All vent caps and flashing accounted for and expertly installed. And, what’s more, because they showed up on the day they said they were going to show up, something we had preplanned together with Sam, our roof was totally covered and protected by the end of the first day, so the new plywood roof sheathing and the entire building was safeguarded from the torrential rains that hit that evening and over the rest of the weekend – Timing and reliability are VERY IMPORTANT! I highly recommend DG Roofing, and they will be roofing our next project and any other projects in the future. Thanks! Nelson

I wasn't looking forward to having my roof replaced due to horror stories I had heard. Sam and his crew at DG Contracting changed all that. I can't say enough good things about them. Everyone involved was professional, reliable, and committed to keeping me happy. Any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction. The job was completed in two days, including old roof tear off and the installation of the new roof. The new gutters took an additional few hours. All was completed on-time with quality workmanship. They left a clean job site each day. I highly recommend DG Contracting.

Highly recommend very pleased with the job! Made my garage and carport look world's better than before. Very professional, were great with communication, showed up in the time frame that was scheduled, cleaned up the site and went above and beyond. I would definitely hire again

Sam communicated great and reassured my client of a job to be completed well within our required time frame and he delivered. Sam even promised to deliver if he had to juggle snow! You can trust his team!

DG came out immediately after we called (DURING) the windstorm around 12/20. They had a guy come out later the same day. They did the repairs yesterday-up and down quickly and did a fine job. The owner was very kind. Thank you!

Great job Sam! Roof looks great and your attention to detail was awesome. We had one minor flashing issue and they came back the next day and had it fixed. Very professional crew.

I called DG Contracting for a roof repair because I had a small leak on what I thought was a flashing. They came right away and determined that my roof was okay but the leak was caused by shrunken caulking on an adjoining structure. They re-caluked the area and saved me a lot. If you have a problem or need a roof call them they are great to work with.

I would definitely recommend DG Contracting for roofing, excellent service. Only took 2 days. they removed the shingles and put down new Roofing left no mess.very pleased.

I had a great experience with DG Contracting, who recently replaced my grandparents' roof. The sales team was professional and provided a detailed quote featuring shingles with a 50-year warranty. The crew's workmanship was excellent, and they left the site spotless. I highly recommend DG Contracting for any roofing needs!

My experience with DG Roofing was absolutely outstanding! Jason and the crew were not only extremely knowledgeable but also professional, courteous, and detail-oriented from start to finish. After a storm caused roof damage for a neighbor, another neighbor and I asked if the DG team could check our roofs as well— and I’m so grateful that they did! They discovered a missing ridge cap on my roof that had left an exposed gap. The team performed a thorough inspection, took photos, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.

Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process. They worked around my schedule to return and complete the repair — even adding a temporary fix in the meantime to ensure my home stayed protected.

It’s clear that the DG Roofing crew truly takes pride in their work. They operate seamlessly as a team, treat your property with care and respect, and deliver top-quality craftsmanship. I can’t recommend DG Roofing highly enough — professional, trustworthy, and genuinely dedicated to their customers. Thank you to the whole team — you will definitely be my go-to roofing specialists for any future projects!

Do you ever wish you’d had a do-over? This was a big one for me! I had shingles blow off- twice in two weeks! I called 2 contractors and had terrible experiences with both. I got Sam’s name from a gal I work with- I was desperate to get this fixed! Sam was kind, caring, professional and he was fair! More than fair- I’ll tell you that story sometime. What I appreciate most, someone caring about the work, but also about the person. Thank you Sam! I can’t wait to do business with you again- except not on my own roof! Ha ha! Appreciate you and your team more than you know!

Casey and Alan were great to work with and the crew was super fast and efficient. We have a small roof but they were able to do the whole job in one day!! Great job guys!!

We had our roof put on recently, and we're very pleased withe the results. I felt that they listened to my concerns regarding some problem areas and addressed them during the job. Done in 2 and a half days, and did very clean work. We can rest easy with our new, professionally installed roof.

After a strong windstorm blew off several shingles from my roof, I called DG Construction for help. They were incredibly responsive, showed up exactly when they promised, and fixed everything quickly and efficiently. The team did an outstanding job—the repair looks seamless, and they even cleaned up perfectly afterward. Professional, reliable, and skilled from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for any roofing needs. Highly recommend DG Construction to anyone in the area!

It was a pleasure working with DG to replace our old roof, at every step of the way. Their crew was amazingly efficient and did excellent clean up after stripping the old shingles. Moreover, they did the job at a fair and competitive price. The office responded promptly to our questions. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I had DG Roofing came and replace my roofing, siding and gutters on my house this past fall. The Roofing crew, siding crew and the gutter crew was a great crew, they were all very respectful to the property and their clean up was excellent. Haven’t found a nail, screw, siding, piece of roofing or gutter on the ground. Sam’s crews that he has working for him are something special and I am so glad that we hired him to work on the house.

After 31 years with our current roof it was time to replace the worn shingles. Contact numerous roofers for estimates and experience. Luckily I saw DG Roofers in my area and contacted them for an estimate and answers to my numerous questions. We agree on a price to replace my roof with GAF HDZ Shingles and establish a date. Ben and his crew arrived at my home and started the replacement. Right at the start he inform me of the procedure and what they will be doing. His entire crew were professional, motivated and respected my home. Any potential concerns they had was brought to my attention immediately. They truly changed the appearance of my home. I was very happy and amazed at the final product.

DG Contracting installed a roof for us this summer and we feel compelled to write a review due to the exceptional job they did. It was a bit of a complicated/unique situation as we were removing some metal roofing that a previously owner built on top of the old roof and reverting it back to a flat roof. A lot of other roofing companies we called refused to even do flat roofs or were intimidated by the less than straightforward design we wanted. Thankfully not Sam and his team at DG. They were efficient and did exactly what they said they would do. Even when unforeseen issues arose and we had to decide how to modify certain areas (due to the unique shape of our home), Jason and his team were always willing to answer questions and give expert input on the best path forward. Even with the large amount of people that were here demoing and then installing, we had zero complaints. Every worker was respectful, which is unheard of these days for a project of this size. Multiple times we caught ourselves saying how glad we were that we didn’t go with another company, as I’m sure the project would have stalled multiple times due to some issues that came up. Thankfully Sam had the resources/connections to get what was needed to finish the job. This was one of the best contractors we have worked with, and that’s saying a lot as we have done lots of remodeling on multiple previous homes. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

The absolute best! We had our roof done this week, and after reviewing several bids, we decided to go with DG Contracting. Stellar service from the top down. Everyone we came into contact with was professional and caring - Casey and Allen did a great job at the quote stage, explaining what we could expect as the job moved forward, Daniel and his crew did excellent work on tear down, replacement and clean up, and Sam the owner was such a gentleman at the job's completion, ensuring our satisfaction. Their quote was very reasonably priced and the materials they used were top notch. We highly recommend DG Contracting, and feel they are the gold standard!
