Jesse came out and installed a quick connect gas line as well as a new water main shut off for the house. He was professional, responsive and answered all my questions thoroughly. The estimate/installation for both was done in less than a week (appreciate this!) He also warned me about a plumbing minor issue he saw that could become a major issue in the future and to keep an eye on it. This was my first experience with this company and I will happily use them again in the future.

    Update 1/27/2026:
I've used Barney's three times now. The first two were after hours and they came through and took care of us. Yesterday they replaced an old/failed water heater the same day I called. Barney's is honest and fair. It's good to know there's a plumbing company that's reliable and has integrity. They're the only plumbers I'll call.

I had a toilet drain clogged after hours. Initially I was told nobody could get out until the following afternoon/evening. I explained the situation and Barney's asked if they could see what they can do and call me back. They called back approximately 10-15 minutes later and had someone on their way within 1/2 hour. I really appreciate them understanding the situation and trying to find a solution for me. This is the second time I've used them and am very happy with their sense of urgency and their courteous and professional staff. Thank You!

FAIR, HONEST, FRIENDLY, & RELIABLE! Barney's was on time and Nathan our plumber was beyond helpful answering all my questions without judgment or making me feel silly. He got the job done and made sure I was happy before leaving. Great guy all around! I will definitely use these guys again and recommend them to all my local friends/family. Thank you Nathan & Barney's Plumbing for being such a great company.

VERY easy and fast to work with. Jesse arrived when scheduled and got the project done very quickly. Cost was reasonable. I will use them again in the future. I would recommend Barney's to anyone looking for plumbing repairs.

Barney's Plumbing is a local family business. Rona answered my initial phone call and was very nice and offered to have Dave come out that evening if need be, that wasn't necessary so Riley came the next day and fixed a small leak and setup a plan to get warranty parts to fix our water heater. While he was there I brought up a high pressure issue so he quoted that as well. Riley just finished up replacing the water heater burner, thermocouple and gas valve and installed a pressure reducing valve to get the incoming water pressure back in line. All positive and friendly interactions and service. Thank you again.

Barney's Plumbing has been great in several issues with out 100 year old home. We greatly appreciate their work, their endurance, and kindness--especially Jesse! I can't say enough about what a great job he has done. Always stays till the job is finished and takes time to explain what was needed and what was accomplished. Thank you!--Porter homeowner!

Absolutely, hands down, the best, from making the phone call at the beginning to the work being finished. My heart just sank when I heard drip, drip, drip in the laundry room, only to discover a hole in the ceiling and water dripping down on our dryer.
Riley & Preston were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and overall awesome.
For something so stressful (and I was stressed), Barney's made this simple and affordable!

    Thank you Barney's

I've had to call Barney's out twice: once for outside bib upgrades (non-freezing) and another time to swap out a couple of leaking bathroom faucets that rusted so tight I couldn't get them to move, and to install a replcement kitchen faucet since they were already going to be here for the bathrooms (don't tell my wife I was too lazy to swap the kitchen). Both times they came out the gave me fair, honest pricing backed by solid work. From the first call, you get clear expectations instead of vague estimates or pressure to upsell. They explain what needs fixing, why it matters, and what it will cost before they start. That transparency makes a big difference.

The technicians show up on time, work efficiently, and respect your space. They focus on solving the problem, not dragging the job out. When there are options, they walk you through them and let you decide, which keeps costs under control. You never feel surprised by the final bill.

The quality matches the price. Repairs feel done right the first time, and nothing feels rushed or sloppy. For plumbing and sewer work—where costs can spiral fast—Barney’s keeps things reasonable without cutting corners.

If you want a plumbing company that charges what the job is worth and treats you fairly, Barney’s Plumbing & Sewer Services is a strong choice. You pay for real work, not inflated prices or unnecessary add-ons.

The cats appreciated having their favorite watering hole back, and I didn't have to contort under the kitchen sink to swap out that facet, either!
