We recently had Palm Construction build a two-car garage for us in Federal Way, and we couldn't be happier with their work. Their crew was meticulous, respectful, and always kept the worksite clean. The quality of the construction is clear, and the attention to detail really shines through. It was a smooth process from start to finish, and the communication was excellent. If you're in the market for a reliable and skilled contractor, Palm Construction is definitely the way to go

Just seeing the way the crew worked together showed how much experience they have as a team. They were efficient and coordinated and everyone knew exactly what their job was. It made the project move along very quickly and smoothly.

Laundry room relocation involved moving heavy duty drains and vents through the center of the house with zero issues. They built a custom pedestal for our washer and dryer that has made doing chores so much easier on our backs.

Skylight installation transformed our dark hallway into a bright space and they did an excellent job with the exterior flashing. We’ve had three major thunderstorms since the install and there hasn't been a single drop of water inside.

To make room for a new closet in our guest bedroom, we had to take the time to build shelves out of wood into the wall studs. They really used the space to store things, and the closet was done in just one day. The price of the job didn't change, and it was done well.

Well coordinated deliveries meant that materials were always on site right when they were needed. There was never any downtime while the crew waited for lumber or tile to arrive. Their logistics management is some of the best I have seen.

We are so glad that a family friend recommended palm construction for our home remodeling needs. The project first started with remodeling our stairs and one bathroom. We liked this team so much and we were so impressed with the quality and speed of the work that we wanted to use them for more. Over a 5-month period, we used Palm construction service to renovate several bathrooms, a home gym, our pool house and our kitchen

Deeply impressed with the way they handled the demolition and removal of our old structure. They were very careful not to damage the surrounding trees and landscaping during the process. The site was left clean and ready for the new build.

We are so happy with our master bathroom and closet remodel. Palm Construction made every step of the process very easy. The crew was great and do high quality work. I would definitely recommend them and use them for future remodel projects.

Complete technical competence was shown in every facet of the plumbing and electrical modifications. After they brought our outdated system up to speed with current standards, they left the office in pristine condition. At all times, they made it quite apparent that the job's usefulness and safety were their primary concerns.

Creative ideas for our basement layout helped us fit in a small home gym and a theater room. They knew exactly how to work around the existing support columns and mechanical systems. The finished space is functional and feels much larger than it actually is.

The full-scale home renovation was a massive undertaking, but the project managers kept everything on track and within the promised timeline. They meticulously handled everything from structural changes to selecting the perfect lighting fixtures. It was a comprehensive overhaul, and the entire house feels brand new and perfectly customized to our lifestyle now.

The service we received from the very beginning was outstanding and genuinely caring. The construction team kept everything transparent regarding costs, sticking to the budget we agreed on without any unexpected surprises. They finished the project on time and the quality was top-notch. I can’t recommend this company enough for their professionalism and the warmth of their staff. The professionally installed rooftop solar panels are already producing more power than we had anticipated. Now that the mounting system is set up and the cables are hidden in the attic, everything is secure. It has been a wonderful blessing for us to be able to produce our own renewable energy.

We were looking for a contractor to do a renovation of a small bathroom in our home and we sent out requests for quotes. Palm was really quick to reach out, and almost immediately, Ben was able to come out and meet with us.

He listened to what we wanted, made suggestions on some ways to bring our dream into reality (and into budget) and was a delight to work with.

We got the results and space we wanted, and we love it!

Tl:dr - if you're looking for a contractor, Ben and Palm should be your choice.

The Pros

1. Palm has been amazing to work with, beginning to end.

Ben really understood our project, was clear about the costs and pay dates, and got everything moving smoothly. When we had questions, he responded at all hours, and brought his patience with him!!

After the work was done, we had a concern pop up. Ben had the team out first thing the very next morning to address it and within hours everything was squared away.

You should always expect a hiccup in construction. But with Ben, it stayed a hiccup rather than becoming a headache.

Ben always felt like he was on our team, and he would work to find solutions for us. He's a genuinely friendly and nice guy, but also knows his stuff.

2. The price matched what we got

There were definitely quotes for cheap work. In construction, our experience is you get what you pay for, so we 'splurged' on a licensed, bonded, insured, company with a team ready to roll. Ben had photos of project after project to show us, and clearly had a lot of pride in the work they did. We wanted that experience, professionalism and enthusiasm so we decided to pay a bit more to get it and we're very happy with the results.

3. We love the bathroom!!

This is an obvious one, but we love how it turned out! The work was carefully done and exactly how we wanted. We're thrilled!

4. They finished on schedule

HUGE pro with construction. They put in the extra hours to get everything done before the estimated completion date.

The "Cons":

1. They were available sooner than expected.

Not really a con, but it was the one thing that threw us off and we hadn't expected. We had to rush around a bit to get our materials because they were available sooner than expected and offered to start basically ASAP, a week early. We could have said no, but we were up for the challenge of getting ready sooner.

2. Ben wasn't the boots on the ground guy.

This was what we expected, and isnt a really a con for us. But if you are looking for a one man operation, it isn't here. Ben captains the ship and sent a great team to do the construction itself. But Ben stayed available to us.

We are recommending Palm to everyone who seems remotely interested in doing a project of their own.

You should send them a message and talk to Ben about your project, you'll see what I mean.

Nate came and had a sit down with us regarding a new roof. He was very courteous and professional and worked with emus transparently to ensure we knew what to expect during the process.

The work began the next day and the crew that came in did an excellent job. They were friendly and quick and our roof is perfect. They also fixed our gate for us which looks so good.

We had a slight miscommunication regarding financing which Nate was able to quickly resolve for me. After everything was done I referred them directly to my mother’s house for some work.

Highly recommended.

Precise measurements and a steady hand resulted in a perfectly straight and level fence line across our entire property. They handled the difficult terrain with ease and ensured the posts were set deep in concrete. It looks fantastic from every angle.

There were no short-cuts made when our new retaining wall was put up this summer. For the footings, they dug deep and made sure the draining was strong enough to handle a lot of water. It's very sturdy, and the wall looks great in our yard.

Very satisfied with the new insulation and energy efficient upgrades they installed in our attic. The house stays much cooler in the summer and we can no longer hear the traffic from the busy street. It was a smart investment that is already paying for itself.

Well, these guys remodeled my room, and it turned out quite nice. They also rebuilt my bathroom because it needed new tiles and a new sink, and they replaced everything, and it looks amazing! Honestly, if you need construction work, this company is the best. They're responsible, provide excellent customer service, their equipment is high-quality, and their prices are very good.

These guys (Palm Construction) won our business by having the most reasonable price and a short time line. We signed off on the contract day of, and they started the next day. Throughout the process, Daniel was communicative with us and respectful. It did take a couple extra days than expected, but they also had taken on a last minute job with a couple of unexpected results due to the mudding on one of our high ceilings not being too great. They took the time to fix the issue and made it look great at no extra charge. In the end, it was worth the money we paid and we're happy with the results. The new buyers were too as the sale went through now. Thanks Daniel for you and your guys' hard work!
