Negative Review for Onsite Solutions — A Truly Disturbing Experience With Galen
My experience with Galen from Onsite Solutions was one of the most frightening contractor situations I’ve ever faced. He presented himself as someone who had worked on major Microsoft and Meta projects, but based on what we saw, it felt far more like he was a contractor trying to inflate his credibility. His “company” was just him and an office manager, Mechelle—nothing like the operation he described.
He promised to subcontract the framing to a qualified professional. Instead, he did it himself, and the results were devastating. His work caused serious damage to our home, and it became painfully clear he couldn’t follow even basic structural engineering requirements. A simple two‑week project has spiraled into four chaotic, stressful months that left us feeling unsafe in our own house.
The misrepresentation, the evasiveness, and the damage he caused were overwhelming. The situation has escalated to the point where there is now a lien against his bond.
Based on our experience, I strongly warn others to stay far away from Galen and Onsite Solutions. This was genuinely one of the most alarming and stressful contractor experiences we’ve ever endured.

Our experience with Galen at Onsite Solutions was extremely disappointing and concerning.

He misrepresented himself early on (initially presenting as an employee, later revealed as the owner) and promised to use a qualified framing subcontractor, but instead did the work himself—resulting in serious structural issues that required engineering review and extensive rework.

What should have been a 2-week project turned into a 4-month ordeal. We gave him a clear path to fix it using qualified professionals or proper supervision, but he chose not to, leading to escalating delays and costs.

His subcontractors arrived unprepared, key scope items were missed, and others had to step in to finish the job. To make matters worse, his subcontractors filed and served us with a preliminary lien on our home without warning or any communication. The subcontractors broke tiles upstairs in our bathroom and shower.
There was garbage left that they refused to pick up.

Here are photos of the mess we have had to live in for 4 months and are still dealing with to date.

4. Dry wall holes & Ceiling leaks
5. Bent sliding glass door
6. Crushed our HAVAC
7. The list goes on and on ......

Bottom line is this "remodel" has cost us dearly. Stress, mess, money and time. I would strongly recommend steering clear of this company.

OnSite Solutions delivered outstanding service from start to finish. Their team was professional, efficient, and clearly experienced in their work. Communication was consistent throughout the project, and they followed through on every commitment without delays or issues. The quality of workmanship exceeded expectations, and the job site was kept clean and organized at all times. Highly reliable company that takes pride in doing things right the first time. Would confidently recommend to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality service.
