We got quotes from 5 or 6 other tree removal companies and Hitman's quote was just too good to be true, yet was true! Used their online form to input our tree information and got a quote right away. Clarified with Mike over the phone on what we wanted done to make sure the quote was correct. Just to be extra sure that he wasn't going to bait us with an estimate then switch to make it a few thousand dollars more, Mike was in the area so we had him stop by to put eyes on our project, and indeed it was an unbeatable quote!
Along with the amazing price, he has jokes and a joyful attitude.
His crew enjoy what they do and we can tell that they have fun being up in the trees working for Mike.
Trying to understand how they do their job at such a great price, learned that they don't have a lot of overhead costs, he has been in the field for so long he knows how to make every aspect as efficient as possible (keeping costs low), they do have older equipment--old doesn't mean doesn't work, means gets the job done at a cheaper price! They also have a fun-to-watch zip-line technique to safely and efficiently bring down large branches as an option vs. cranes. We will definitely be calling Hitman/Mike for any of our future tree removal/clean-up needs!

Praising Hitman Tree here. We had a Douglas Fir right next to our house, leaning precariously towards it that was a major safety hazard. I have been trying to get it removed for several years, and each aroborist that came out said for some reason it was too hard of a job and wouldn't do it. I was about to give up, and gravely accept that during the next big windstorm the tree just might fall on the house (right by our bedroom of course), when a neighbor suggested I call Hitman. I called Hitman, and an hour later Chris came out, took a quick look at it, and said they could do it no problem. Literally the next day the crew showed up, looked at the tree and said, no problem at all. It was down and bucked up in a few hours as my wife and I breathed sighs of relief. The crew was an awesome group of guys who worked hard and were totally professional. My wife loved them, and she's understandably cautious about people coming to the house to do work when she's home alone. Can't say enough good about Hitman. My final statement to them here is thank you. You guys very well might have saved us from serious home damage, if not serious injury or death, from a leaning hazard tree that nobody else would touch. THANK YOU!

This company is top notch! We looked at more than four different arborist firms and Bel-Red was a stand out to say the least. Ken came out to our property (on-time), he was knowledge, provided a fair estimate and his team over delivered against our expectations. The job was on an acre lot with a significant amount of ivy clean-out, safety trimming of branches and light tree removal. The best I can say is they were great and we will only use them for years to come. Trust me when I say you will waste time, energy and money if you don't hire them. Every other Arborist was late, unprofessional and quotes were extremely vague. Ken and his team are the real deal!

Ken and his crew were awesome.... helped us out with a downed pine tree at our rental property that smashed through a fence. Took down the tree, removed the stump and some large roots and put the fence back up gratis.

Ken was an absolute pleasure to work with. We have a very complicated tree situation on our property involving dead trees, invasive species trees, and a dispute with a neighboring developer claiming our trees as their own. Ken was a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge regarding tree removal, management, trimming, and city regulations. He went above and beyond the call of duty, intervening on my behalf with the nuisance developer. While it took awhile to get approval from the city, Ken was able to get his crew out quickly to remove our trees. They did a great job and for a very reasonable price. I will absolutely be using Ken for all of our tree needs in the future.

Ken and his team are the best! I had a River Birch that needed to be removed and a cherry tree that needed trimming. During the quoting process, Ken offered professional advice and was very easy to communicate with. He was much better than other tree service companies I got quotes from at the same time.

On the day of the tree removal, his team showed up with all the necessary equipment and quickly got to work. Since the River Birch had branches extending over both my roof and my neighbor’s, they handled the job with great care, using proper ropes and tension techniques to prevent any damage. Afterward, they cleaned up all the debris and even helped remove the stump, all at a very reasonable price.

It’s great when you find companies you really want to work with and support, like this one. Ken is responsive and ethical. We have had him do work on the past and asked him to come look at a tree we were worried about. He said the tree is fine and didn’t need to come down. We had a small cleanup needed on another tree with some hanging limbs and the cost was reasonable, and his crew were good and efficient.

We will be using Bed-Red Tree Service for all future work - they are excellent. Professional, competitively priced (we got quotes from two other companies), and great attention to detail. We had them do work on every tree on our property, including 7 30ft+ pine trees and several large maples. Everything looks great, and they left our property pristine. Crew went above an beyond while on site to ensure everything was exactly the way we wanted, and we feel confident our tallest trees are safe for any winter storms.

Ken is very knowledgeable about trees. With his recommendations, we removed dead trees from our backyard in 2024 and we felt safer when it was windy. The healthy large trees didn’t move that much in our yard. In 2024 and 2025, trees from others’ yard fell into our yard and broke the fence, Ken and his crew was able to help move remove large tree branches from the broken fence without damaging my property. Ken even asked his crew member to help me removing tree branches from my roof as well which was very kind. I was worried about my roof. The crew showed up on time and worked very hard to finish the job in a timely manner. Yesterday was the 3rd time that the crew from Bel-Red Tree Service came to my house to help remove large tree branches in the 2 years period and they also help trim tree branches in my property, they showed up around 8 am and finished so many projects before I had to go to work. Yesterday, I had to be at work at 11 am. Because the crew showed up around 8 am and worked efficiently, I was able to make it to work on time. This company deserves A+++ rating from me. Best company— Ken and his team are very professional and they are knowledgeable when it comes to trees!
