Was selling a home and under pressure to get everything done, for the buyers inspection, needed a state inspection on an (17KW auto generator transfer switch, pre owner wiring job), which can become a tough road from what I hear.
They not only took care of everything making it seemingly easy but most of all saved me the time and hassle of dealing with any of it.

We hired Wilderness Electric to replace the light fixture in our stairwell. Oreo showed up early, was friendly and did an excellent job! We will definitely use Wilderness Electric for future work.

Had a great experience and service from contacting their office to make the appointment, till the day of the appointment. I needed a couple of fixtures removed and a new fixture installed where there wasn't one before . They did everything that was needed, and went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth.

We used Wilderness to have our generator wired. Very helpful and great service. Oreo was a great guy. The inspector said "Wilderness always does a great job". I would have to agree with that. Thanks for the great job.

Came out initially to give a quote on install of an outlet in the ceiling, and an HDMI cable run through the ceiling/wall.

Ended up just doing the job really quickly, and well under what I was expecting to pay. Friendly and professional, super fast.

The "other guys" told me they couldn't even look until mid April, but Wilderness Electric was out the very next day. Super impressed, will return to this business again.

We called to possibly set-up an appointment when we were told they couldn't come out that week. Fine. So we ended up making an appointment through another company. Wilderness electric however, ended up coming out the SAME DAY an hour before the electrician we scheduled an appointment with came out. When the person at our house realized it was the wrong company, they asked the electrician to leave as we did not schedule their company. Their receptionist made a mistake.

On top of that, we were charged over an hour worth of work for less than an hour, the electrician changed one outlet and charged just under $400 total. For less than an hour of work mind you, and their office is about 10 minutes or less from our house.

After all this, the electrician told the person at the house as they were leaving that L&I would have to come and inspect the work. We were never told this before-hand, it's very hard to get someone home during the week during work hours. This should have been disclosed before hand, but it was not. Will be contacting BBB as well for this shady business practice among all the other issues. If a permit needs to be pulled for an upgrade, then they should let you know before the upgrade takes place! We were never told.

I spoke with both the shop floorman and the owner. The floorman flat-out laughed on the phone a few times like he couldn't care less and refused to take any responsibility and the owner wasn't any better. Never once apologizing for the mix-up, or the fact L&I inspectors were forced on us without prior knowledge. They were both very rude and unhelpful. The shop floorman who showed up moved slow and didn't appear to care about his work.

Very unhappy with the service. The company who was actually supposed to show up was a great experience. We had instant contract between a good and bad company.

Steve came out today and fixed my issue I was having with several power outlets not getting power. He's smart and figured out the problem quickly. I'd been dealing with this problem for over 30 years.🙄 Very happy with the quality work, and the price was very fair. I'm very happy I called them.

I’ve had them out twice. The first time we lost power to all our outlets in our kitchen and dining room. They came next day, fixed the problem quickly and charged a very reasonable fee. Next, I had them come out to do some of my electric “wish list” items. They installed a new outdoor gfi and a ceiling fan in our master, where there was no previous outlet for one. They were quick, extremely reasonably priced and so friendly. I can’t wait to have them back to do more! Thank you!!

Steve was here on time with a phone call ahead to let me know he was on his way and had the issue diagnosed in about 15 minutes. The job was completed in about 2 hours and was reasonably priced. I would definitely hire him/Wilderness Electric again. Great job.

Oreo fixed an outlet in my yard that ran a water feature and installed the correct ground wiring. No more GFI troubles and it looks 100% better!

I reached out to 4 different companies to have an electrician check out why we weren’t getting power to some outlets in our home. I only got a response from two and Wilderness Electric had the better quote. Oreo showed up earlier than expected which was fantastic! He was friendly, efficient, and informative. I was looking for an electrician for advice on a kitchen remodel. Steve promptly replied to my email request and I called him the next day. He called me right back (no answering service) and we went over my project. With his advice, I won't need to spend money doing needless work. And he even advised me on some innovative ways homes are doing lighting these days. Steve's professionalism and straight talk (in perfect English) made the interaction exceed my expectations. I wished all service providers were this honest and helpful.

I had my electrical panel replaced by Wilderness Electric last Thursday and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Steve and Oreo were knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all my questions (even after being out in the rain for several hours). The work was done well and within the time frame they had stated. Cost was exactly what they had estimated and was comparable to other estimates I had received. I will definitely be calling Steve, Oreo, and Wilderness for my future electrical needs.

Oreo did a great job on adding another outlet to our bathroom. He was prompt, professional, and took the time to answer all my questions about the bathroom addition and some other electrical questions I had about our house – the guy really knows his stuff!

Kellie was super helpful in answering my questions when I was getting estimates and was able to get me quickly scheduled. I will be going back to Wilderness first when I need an electrician again. Quickest bid to finished job I have experienced to date.

We were very impressed by Wilderness Electric's/Oreo's speed, knowledge, and prices. Quality companies that don't take advantage of customers are hard to find, and this is definitely one of those rarities!

I reached out to Wilderness Electric on a Wednesday to have someone out to handle a tricky new light as well as an exposed wire, and we had someone out here by Friday.

Oreo arrived in a timely manner and was exceptional in taking care of us. He was knowledgeable and fair, and provided great solutions to our problems. He even asked about our electric vehicle charging solution at home and recommended a way we could get a faster charge without changing our current system.

We had originally brought in a different electrical company to give us a quote for similar work and that company had quoted us $4k plus a $550 charge for the quote. Wilderness Electric diagnosed and fixed our problems and recommended a solution for our EV all for less than $500.

This is an honest and competitively priced company. We will be using Wilderness Electric for all future needs!

We lost power in our master bedroom during the recent heatwave. Wilderness Electric & Oreo accommodated my request for an emergency appointment despite having been booked out for almost 2 weeks out.

Oreo was on-time and fantastic at his job. He found the fault in no time and fixed the issue. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of tips as well. He was very professional and friendly. Will definitely recommend Wilderness Electric and specially Oreo for any electrical work.

We had work done coordinating with our septic company to replace a septic alarm. We were charged over 2,000 for a 3 hour repair because they added on 2 hours of travel time (Maple Valley to Sammamish) to our charges and billed for 2 electricians because an assistant was along on the job. Most of the time one was working while the other was chatting with the septic repairman. When I called to inquire about how 3 hours of work at 165/hr became 2,000 he said there were "parts and travel charges" and some kind of 600 "parts package". I have no idea what that was for, since the septic company provided the parts - the invoice is blank except the hourly and the total. I was wrong to allow my septic repair to choose the electrician without finding out about the HUGE travel charges and extra fees. Avoid my mistake and don't get conned. Be sure to get a clear estimate before hand to avoid an extra 1,000 in charges like I had to pay. I gave 2 stars because the work appears to be done well.

Wilderness Electric Co. truly came through for us when we needed them most. We lost power, and with a one-year-old at home, we couldn’t go very long without electricity. I already had a generator but didn’t have the panel installed, which made the situation stressful.
