Excellent... best electrical store in Monroe, have everything

Needed an end to a generator cord. I was surprised at how high the price was ($70) but the gentleman behind the counter stated that it was a normal price for that particular item. After purchasing the item and I quickly looked online and found the same item for $25 less. Then walked back into the store to return the item and was charged a restocking fee and told that they didn’t even need to take the item back in return and that all sales are final (which is on the receipt you get AFTER you purchase the item). From now on I’ll do my shopping somewhere that has a way better return policy and way better prices.

People are very friendly,. They carry high end products and tool not found in big box stores. If they don't have what you need it can usually be delivered to the store the next day. I needed a outdoor electrical enclosures, they didn't have the one that I needed but had it delivered to the store the next day and it was $10 cheeper than Home Depot. I was also impressed with their selection of tools and outdoor LED lights which I have not seen in any other stores. I have shopped there several times to get hard to find items. That is the great thing about specialty stores. Definitely keep them in mind for your electrical needs it will be well worth your time to check them out!

Love this store! Jason is the man, he's extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Here's a tip... Use the Platt website or app to put your order together, and everything will be ready for pickup in no time at all. I have never had a bad experience at the Monroe Platt. Highly recommended, whether you are buying wholesale or retail.

UPDATE July 2025!!! Monroe Platt Electric continues to excel! They are my absolute go-to for all electrical supplies, whether it be residential, commercial, or industrial. Sage runs the show now, and she and her crew possess great knowledge of the products and will help you out with whatever you need. On The Way Ray will even deliver your order right to the jobsite with a smile. Highly recommend this place, 5 stars just isn't enough! I consider their whole crew personal friends as well. 👍👍

Oh and don't forget to bring a dog treat or two, sometimes their furry, four-legged mascot will greet you at the door! 🐾 🐕
