I couldn't speak more highly of the Heavy Metal Dock and Marine Company.  Zach, Mike and his team are absolutely the best contractors, fabricators, welders, and dock installers across the state of WA and Idaho (Maybe across the country).  I was immediately impressed with Zach who drove from the Spokane area to Orondo in North Central WA to meet with us and show us the materials, his welding techniques and talk us through the design, development, construction and installation process.

We live along the Columbia River which requires lots of red tape, extensive permitting, and diligent work with the county, state, and Army Corp of Engineers.  They hit it head on and successfully worked through all of the various challenges.  One example is that the Columbia River requires 60% open space along the decking of the dock and gangway.  Zach spent many days researching all possibilities and brought forward multiple options that allowed us to stay within our budget.   His communications with us was awesome as he followed up with emails, calls and messages.  He was even so proactive that he arranged for the purchase of materials before tariffs were implemented saving us money on the project.  That is the kind of company and CEO who you want watching your back on large scale projects.

He delivered a well engineered, robust gangway and dock system including excavating and installing steps and handrail to get to the gangway.  We have had lots of neighbors comment about how our dock is so much stronger and well built than their own.  They were jealous and wished they had hired Zach to construct their own dock.  Probably the best compliments I have about Zach is that he is a perfectionist who has old school honesty, integrity, and strong work ethics . . .  characteristics that are so hard to find these days.  You will not go wrong hiring Heavy Metal Dock and Marine for any of your pile driving, fabrication, dock, gangway and welding needs.  They are simply the best!
