Black Hills has been fantastic every time we've called on them! We've had major electrical work which we needed complete in a time crunch as well as some plumbing work done by them and they've been wonderful every time! They were also very accommodating to my work schedule so I didn't need to take time off to have repairs done.

Look, I’ve had a rough week. I had called a competitor twice in the last 90 days and scheduled quotes only for them to call me after waiting and wasting my whole day to tell me that no one was coming due to a “scheduling system error”.
With this coming heat wave, I was panicked. We couldn’t sleep and our overall demeanor is miserable when it’s this hot.
I scheduled with Black Hills on a whim and I’m happy I did. After another failed quote appointment I scheduled online and representative showed up within 30 minutes. He sat down with me, took measurements, discussed several different options and explained what would be done. This was Friday. It’s currently the following Monday and we are all happy and comfortable in our house.
Every single member of the team was polite, courteous, professional and knew their job well. The equipment they added and surrounding areas where they worked were clean and brand new. They explained how everything worked and how I wouldn’t have to worry about a whole lot because they would help us in the future due to the comfort care package we signed up for.
This home modification was completely worth it and I am beyond happy that I went with this company. I cannot recommend them enough.

Our furnace stopped working over night and we were able to schedule service the same day. David came out and determined it was an easy fix and got us back up and running in no time without needing any parts or anything. House is warm again and we are very happy!

We used this company in 2023 to replace our entire Heating and cooling system. They offered flexible solutions. All of their staff, from the installation tech to the service people are professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Well…. I didn’t think this company would come out to serve my area. They came out from Olympia to Graham. My house was built in the 1950s and my panels were installed sideways and it’s not up to code. I found that out when my heat pump died because another company Taylor heating and electric had came out and “fixed” it on warranty but a year later it died again. I had other companies give me quotes similar priced and I was sold on this company because of Gregg from Blackhills . Gregg came out and talked with me about a system that would be good for my house. He didn’t force me into buying anything. We explored all the options and I’m glad he told me about the new side discharge heat pumps with inverters by day and night(it’s insanely quiet and efficient.) Although I was pretty apprehensive because it was made in China 🇨🇳. Justin reassured me it’ll be a great product as he has the same unit for his own house installed. I didn’t know they also do electrical panels so they did mine as well and got me setup right. Roy came out and made sure that it was something they could do and be done correctly and up to code. The install team first came out to installed the heat pump and furnace. Aaron, Michael(sorry if I spelt it wrong) and Austin are greats guys! If there are any others I apologize. They were always respectful and notified me of all things and concerns I may have had. Then Keith came out and installed the 2 panels and a 50a generator lockout for my generator with Tyler and I forgot the other guys name also great guys to work with. So far it’s the quietest heat pump I’ve ever heard! I didn’t think it was on! I’ve recommended them to my neighbors and friends and church family. I pray you guys stay blessed as a company and continue to take care of people here in the PNW. Thank you Black Hills and your team. God Bless.

We have had a number of repairs done in our home by Black Hills in the past 5 months, and all of the work has been superb! On 9/23/2024, when we discovered that a leak on top of our hot water heater had soaked the entire garage, Tim Mason was there in an hour to stop the leak and replace the hot water heater. The water damage destroyed our furnace, which Colton Rhodes replaced on 10/15/2024. Jason Bailey at Black Hills was incredibly helpful in helping us establish the necessity for the furnace replacement for our insurance company. On 2/6/2025, Gabriel Schissler replaced and added a number of smoke detectors and replaced a fan. In the course of his work, he discovered mistakes made by the company that replaced our roof in 2016 that caused the fans in the house to blow into our attic rather than through the roof - something we wouldn't have otherwise caught. Today, Greg Landaker replaced all of our sinks, and they look beautiful. Greg was thoughtful enough to bring different faucets to the house to make sure that I could pick exactly what I wanted. We will be requesting to have further work done by Gabriel and Greg since we are so happy with the work that they have already done. In short, I recommend Black Hills for everything related to electrical, heating and plumbing.

Cody did a wonderful job with my first HVAC maintenance. He was great at explaining all the steps needed for the maintenance and the importance of all the steps. He showed me controls on my thermostat that I hadn't known about. I was very impressed with his knowledge about my system and his professionalism during his visit. He explained the Black Hills Comfort Pass maintenance program and was able to sign me up, so I know I will be well taken care of in the future.

Grateful for Curtis and Black Hills for coming out today! Two days ago, Curtis diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. Today he did the repair work. In both instances, he clearly explained what he was doing and why, and kept me informed on his progress.

Our experience has been amazing from start to finish. Olin, our technician, has been great—clear, straightforward communication and consistently timely results. We truly appreciate his professionalism and reliability.

Black Hills was very responsive and Sara did an amazing job repairing my furnace and explaining to me what went out. She was very thorough and did excellent work. I would highly recommend Black Hills and Sara for any repairs or purchases you need!

Black Hills team provided an outstanding service with the replacement of an old furnace. The representatives and technicians were professional and efficient and the follow up consultation showed they care for the clients. Today I received a surprise card and gift (with the Black Hills logo on a coco/tea/smoothies mug) plus cookies!

I love that I received a text with Terry’s photo and arrival time. Making appt online was easy, confirmation and reminders of appt were great.
Terry arrived on time, was so polite and professional! He serviced and cleaned my heat pump, in the house and outside, changed the batteries in the thermostat, replaced filters and left everything tidy and cleaned up.
I was so impressed, I signed up for Black Hills Comfort pass-which means they’ll come out every 6 months and service the unit.

We had Evan C. Come out and install an extra outlet in our garage and he did a great job! Very professional, quick and tidy!

Great service, fast, reliable and friendly. We've used Black Hills twice now for plumbing issues and they have been amazing to work with. Their staff are knowledgeable and solution focused. I'm very happy I chose them and will definitely keep their number for any future needs.

Had multiple outlets that kept tripping the breaker. The electrician (Evan) did a thorough investigation...came to the conclusion that it was a loose connection. I appreciate his honesty and he kept us informed of all the steps he was doing to come to that conclusion. I would definitely call Black Hills for other repairs.

I don't usually leave reviews but since the professionalism and customer relations we exceptional I was compelled to note the experience. From start to finish the personnel we worked with went above and beyond. Gregg showed up promptly as scheduled. He walked us through our options giving informative detail and personal relations. Next day we had install of our new product. Aaron and Terran and the electrician were amazing. They all showed professionalism, respect of our property, great communication throughout the process and some fantastic conversation. We are in love with our new heating and air conditioning. We highly recommend.

Kamerrin did a check up of our home HVAC system. He explained everything he looked at, answered all my questions and explained our options for some recommended preventative maintenance. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and what I appreciated most, didn’t do a hard sell for any repairs. He simply explained our options, promised to send an estimate and left it at that. I’m very happy with the service, and very pleased we went with Black Hills.

I noticed a old water smell and humidity. in my coat closet, on Thursday Feb. 5th I looked around and saw my waterheater pipes were leaking pretty bad, I immediately called Blackhills , and they had a Tech. Out immediately Friday morning 2/6/26 Tim Mason showed up, very professional and friendly explained my multiple options. I ultimately settled on getting the Essency waterheater, It's a beauty. I also had water damage to my flooring and carpet from the leaking, and Tim called in NW Fire and Flood , they showed up within the hour too help me with the damage portion, I liked that everything was so i'm readily available. No long wait times having to schedule out weeks in advance. I mentioned to Tim. I was thinking about getting duckless. Mini splits put into my home and asked if there was someone that could come out just to give me options. And again, within the hour, I had someone on my doorstep, taking me through the steps of what was needed to get my mini splits, super friendly, very professional. And giving me my options. Blackhills is awesome, I'd recommend 100% to anyone.

The Technician, Sara, was awesome! Very professional. Very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the issue and corrective measures. As far as price... price is fair but, our heatpump always had high startup amps. You can hear it. Sara explained that this high of startup amps can do damage over time. She fixed the problem and we agreed to the $498.97 cost but, we think that we should not have been sold a heatpump that obviously had a problem that would or most probably would create future repair and parts replacement costs. BlackHills does a great job. I just wish this issue would have been caught at install and or at the annual maintenance checkups thereafter. Sara discovered it. The heatpump no longer has the loud/high startup amps. Great Job Sara!

Olin was extremely professional and personable when performing the dryer vent cleaning service for our gas dryer. He explained things thoroughly prior to beginning the project and then showed the results of his work afterwards via photos and letting me see/feel how much lint and debris had been cleared out from the vent hose and ductwork that goes to the outside of the house. Throughout the service call, Olin was very polite and courteous. This maintenance provided more peace of mind, especially in regards to helping decrease the risk of a fire.

I have multiple properties and dealt with dozens of companies over the years but the Black Hills technician outperformed all of them.
Looking forward to work with Black Hills on the long run :)
