Do yourself a favour, don’t use these guys. Not professional. They installed lawn for our house, came several times to fix multiple issues with sprinklers, turf etc. We still experience same issues, nothing’s fixed, warranty expired and they don’t care.

I needed help with the sprinklers and someone recommended Ulises, he came out right away, he is honest and very helpful. Great person and company.

Terra nova is doing most of them landscaping in this new construction neighborhood as the primary landscaping contractor for Hammerstrom construction. Hammerstrom builds high quality homes and is picky about its contractors so that in itself is a great endorsement for Terra Nova.

I, on the other hand, in a moment of poor judgement chose a different contractor to install sprinklers and sod in my back yard. Consequently I have to watch all the Terra Nova-installed lawns and sprinkler systems in my neighborhood working great as I fight mine to get sprinklers working and grass to survive. We have had Terra Nova over a number of times to help fix some issues and help plant and have been extremely impressed on both the quality of the work, and how hard the Terra Nova workers work. The are great to work with, very knowledgeable of their craft, and fast.

Luis, the lead for Terra Nova, even stopped by and explained my sprinkler system operation for a system his company didn’t install. Now that’s impressive.

They are a newer company that split off one of the big landscaping companies in town, so while the company is just getting going the workers have been doing this for a long time and know what they’re doing.

I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them for any job and can give them my full recommendation. My only regret is not hiring them for my sod and sprinklers.

Terra Nova Landscaped our yard 2 years ago. From the beginning, we had issues with areas flooding but on the same station had dry areas. Initially they responded well trying to fix the yard but were not not really making progress. This problem continued throughout the 1 year warranty. Towards the end of the warranty, they quit coming by and stopped responding to phone calls and emails. The yard still looked terrible with flooding and dry areas on the same station. This year I begin replacing sprinklers, moving sprinklers and adjusting nozzles. After a few months of adjustments, the yard looks good now. These are things they should have done. In addition we purchased 10 Pencil trees which were never installed. They ended up givings us a refund. I was also originally quoted 2"-4" of top soil in the back yard but it does not seem like we have that. I have a lot of rock just below the sod line. I found Terra Nova to be unprofessional, lacking integrity, and either didn't care or lacked the skill to properly install the yard.

Luis and his team are the best landscapers we have ever had! They completed the job on time...which included 1/2 acre of sod, curbing and irrigation! We were told exactly what was going on everyday. Luis also has stopped by two weeks after job was finished to check that all was good and to see if we had any questions...not many company’s do that! I highly recommend Terra Nova and we will continue to use them for all our landscaping needs!

Luis (owner) did a fantastic job cutting back a large overgrown honeysuckle bush. His wife knows roses, so she trimmed a large rose bush. They were polite & professional. I would definitely use their services again.

I called about a tall arboritive tree that was falling over from the wind and he came right out and removed it before it fell and caused damage and topped two other arboritive trees . I would highly recommend him . Thank you , Luis, for your quick response.
